Just finished installing this and it was definitely worth it. Does take a bit of time but overall not difficult. I was debating on getting the kit for quite a bit but overall worth the price for the plug and play installation!
I just completed the Installation following the video instruction and you don't need pro assistance at all. Moreover, I can't believe the sound quality compared to the stock speakers. Wow, I am highly impressed and happy with my purchase! Thank you.
Thank you so much for your feedback 🙏🏻. We are very happy to hear the videos made it as simple as we could and for our customers to follow. Thank you again and enjoy the new audio experience.
Nevermind I went to your website. I see it’s the same price as the nvx and that includes a box, amp, speaker n wire and cheaper. Cool idea but gonna go the other route. Sorry and thx
This looks like a great diy project . Will this work on a 2023 performance model 3 without causing 12 volt battery drain or error codes? And what tools are needed ?
HI there , it will work in all current model 3 vehicles in the 12v and 16v configurations without throwing any errors. Basic tools are needed and shown in first part of the video. Mostly panel popper, 10mm, 13mm and some wire cutters for the zip ties. A couple small tools are needed as well like a 2.5mm bit and a t20 and t25 torx
So our woofer is a dual voice coil dual 2ohm with a 300w rms power handling. The factory woofer is a dual voice coil as well, but very little power handling. I cant say for sure what their specs are, but it is only seeing roughly about 40-45 watts a coil per what the factory amp is outputting.
HELLO! I am a new subscriber to this channel and love your system. I have a 2022 Tesla Model 3 long-range. I want to upgrade all the speaker's systems and subwoofer. Please let me know if my car model is a good candidate for this upgrade. Thanks
Hi there and thank you for your inquiry. By Long Range i'm assuming it is the dual motor long range. It should have the factory premium system and you can verify that by going into your EQ in the radio and seeing if you have the Sub Control, far left of the eq and at the bottom of the eq it will say Immersion audio with a sliding scale left to right. If you see that then you have the premium system and we are currently shipping for that. You are welcome to contact us directly by phone and we can walk you through any of that if needed and answer any questions you might have.
@@orellaacoustics Also, on your website, during shopping, I didn't see a speaker choice to select for the front driver and passenger doors. Is there an option to pick speakers for the front driver & passenger doors instead of the rear ones?
Yes that’s correct, we are simply using the signal that was driving the factory sub to run into our amp and drive the woofer that way. All other speakers stay on the oem amp
Do you do installations in SoCal? What kind of difference is this for the car. I have the RWD Model 3 and hate the speakers. The Model Y my wife has sounds so much better. How would this compare to stock LR Model 3 speakers?
We do offer install services at our facility. Now with yours being a long range, you should have actually the same system. If you look behind the right rear corner panel you will see your factory sub and amp. Now depending on the year of your 3, the rear deck might be sealed or breath into the cabin. The Model Y being one single cabin, would create much more bass and feels more spacious in its sound compared to the 3. Our system would give you much more bass with this upgrade to more then what you get in the Y factory.
@@Fitforacting So with a 2023 RWD, you most likely have the base audio package. We would have to see the car to verify. As of right now we do not have an upgrade for the base audio but will have one in the future. I had read in your first post that you have a LR Model 3, which in that case would come with the premium audio and would have the upgrade for. You are welcome to call us and we can better help you that as well.
Hi there, this is something we manufacture for our kits only. There is nothing out there like what we use since we CNC machine our adaptors for maximum strength as well as pre drilling and tapping all the threads in for mounting our woofer.
@@orellaacoustics awesome! This is exactly what I’m looking for too. Very hard to find subwoofers that will work in the RWD especially with the new 12v battery.
Can I just splice the power wire into the power on the factory amp? I was thinking of splicing everything off of that remote too... So everything will turn on and off with the amp... Is there any reason everyone doesn't do this??
Hi there, there are many reasons why I would not recommend doing that. First things first that power wire is only designed to supply power to the OEM amp. Secondly, you are cutting up you wire, third there is no turn on there.
@@orellaacoustics Assume I'm good with wiring and I don't mind cutting/soldering... And I know what I'm doing... I may still run the power under the seat because it will be so easy but the 12v remote turn on (REM) to the amp could go to the power supply to the amp, it's just an on off switch... Then when the amp turns off so will the other amp... Help me out here? Is that crazy?
That was supposed to say power supply to the factory tesla amp... Sorry if that was confusing... So my sub amp REM to the power supply of the tesla factory amp... Should work for an on off right?

Will the amp mount from a 2017-2021 Tesla model 3 fit a 2021 Tesla model y?
What are the specs on the woofer compared to the stock woofer? The magnet looks considerably larger, but how much of a difference is to be expected?
