Alaska is the you tube destination of the year. Dmfd, Outdoor Chef Life, you guys and who knows how many more. Which is awesome because we had almost zero visitors last year. I just find it interesting that I binge watch your videos about fishing in Florida because it’s so exotic for me. And then you come and vacation in my back yard. Fishing unites the world!
Watching all your videos all the way from China. Love it! And I really respect how you treat the ocean and the fish, both how you keep it, kill it or release it. Really cool man! Hope I can join you guys one day.
Literally my favorite CZcamsr
Being from Maine I was a little skeptical when you added the cream style corn but you pulled it off in the end with the half and half. I’d try it. I’m a chowdah head.
I have one small request, PLEASE do some cooking videos with the Mexican locals!😁
I enjoyed your take on the jigs. I spend 60 days a year on the Kenai Peninsula and fish Seward and the Cook Inlet frequently. This season, I brought slow pitch jigs (mostly Johnnie Jigs and Jygs), rods and reels to the party. We pounded all species on that gear, but mostly halibut, lingcod and rockfish. I much preferred jigging those fish to the more typical herring used in Alaska; just way more fun than waiting on something to takedown my herring. Glad you are enjoying your trip; you’re right about the fishing- it’s terrific. Nice video 👍
Man that chowder looks amazing!!! How bout that recipe!? 🤔
I’ve caught Ling cod and flounder deep sea fishing of NJ and I have got to admit. The cod I like best. Alaska is now on my bucket list
By far the best CC&C chef there is. Can def tell cooking is close to , if not as much of a passion as fishin is for him. Everything always looks amazing and you make so many varieties of killer meals.
Really need to get up there. My mother is dead set on me taking her black bear hunting, n my uncle is the cpt of his own salmon boat out of Homer n said he would take us; fishing, staying on the boat, while spotting bears. This series is making me want to get off my tail n start seriously planning
That garlic bread looks killer! Man I love the cooking on this channel.
I make halibut curry often, I find that adding the halibut at the very end for just the time it takes to cook it half to three quarters of the way, it will stay cubed and finish cooking while sitting for 10-15 mins after cutting the heat and covering. Once served it’s perfect. Looking so forward to the Mexico videos, I love fishing in Latin America!
Fish was probably overcooked. Don’t want tough fish.
@@nickdondero6186 oh is that what happens when you over boil fish?🤣🤦🏻♂️
Ty for the tip!! As Brooke said it was the first time he cooked it (he has some balls cause I wouldn’t dare cook something for the first time n post it to 1000’s of ppl lol) so I’m sure Vic will b grateful n appreciate the tip too….
Wow 🤦🏻♀️ Just wow nick!!
I always slightly undercook fish before taking it off the heat. The inside will always finish cooking from the residual heat of the fillet. Good to see quality cooking tips in the comments. You can always cook fish more, you can never cook it less
@@michaelhall5429 Correct! thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it! Nothing worse than over cooked fish.
Another awesome job Viktor! You are becoming the quintessential gourmet chef. You already are a great fisherman but the combo of the fine cuisine with your fishing skills makes your videos quite interesting.
Never thought about making fish chowder that looked amazing
These Alaska episodes were 🤙🏽🤙🏽 can’t wait for more trip episodes
Those pinnacles are SO much fun to fish.
Again amazing landscape cinematography! What were the slow pitch combos you were using? And man that looked appetizing!
What a great trip! Love the chowder recipe. This will work with any firm fish, grouper, snapper, cod and of course halibut. Thanks for the vicarious fun.
Glad you guys got to come out West and enjoy the Bounty we have to offer.
Awesome video I appreciate learning from your videos everytime and that is what I enjoy the most as a very young angler and CZcamsr so being able too learn something everytime is just amazing keep it up 👍
You guys... You could not be more a authentic even if you try. Before i forget to tell you.. i love you guys..
Brook fishing like a true Floridian
Just now sat down for brunch and boy am I glad!!!!!
The openers are so beautiful man!
I hope the Mexico trip will have fishing from the surf" I can't wait to see what's coming😁
The drone shots never get old! You’re living the dream my brother 🔥
Much love from Alaska! Love fishing Seward, Homer, the Russian River. Seward is amazing, won the derby there a few years ago and its always a blast.
Love the catch n cooks as always, makes my mouth water! Much love from Houston Tx
I do enjoy that both of you post videos, it gives me the double fix🤣
Thats what i do, collect scallions from work, plant them in the yard and they are just like that size and i even use the blossoms for scrambled eggs and only one flower because they are so huge.
I must say, Victor, that it is quite refreshing to see an angler who is also an accomplished cook. Well done.
Try the fish chowder with the Ling Cod, and the Black tip or any shark will make a good chowder the firmness of the shark lends itself to this style of cooking.
I am LOVING your Alaska series!
I like when you both aure in eachothers video. Just makes you want more!!😘
These videos are my new thing. Thank you
Amazing video as always! Love these different species you’re catching and sharing with us❤️
Love Seward! Recommend staying at orca island cabins in Seward it’s an amazing experience
I really enjoy watching your videos I always learn something new n I love fishing
I’m subscribed to you both. Y’all are awesome
Using the bacon fat is exactly how I make my chowders. I only use green onion, then i add salt, pepper and thyme butter and flour for my rue. I only use lobster broth that I make myself with white wine & skim milk as I want to taste the seafood, not cream. Add diced potatoes to tender. Once tender I add the seafood, usually salmon, halibut, scallops and lobster, but anything works. Always corn, dill and white vinegar. Vinegar brings out the taste of the seafood.
I very much appreciate yalls appreciation for us fans lol hey we like and comment in return for amazing footage!
Love this channel.
Fish on Vik! 🎣🐟🐠

You gota make these longer than 20 min tho brother. Atleast 30
love watchin u guys.
The scenary, diversity of species, how good the species taste/cook and weather in Alaska has to be in the top 3 places to fish by far! Definitely has Florida and most other places in the United States/Lower 48 beat by a long shot! Def a trip of a lifetime
Brook it hot, all the good ones are taken
Another flawless trip!! Awesome job yall, looks a blast.
Amazing bro... Bigfish... Sampean pancen ngene👍👍..
Man that soup 🍜 look delicious 🤤👍👍👍👍
1:53 holding the lingcod like that, to me it reminds me of a walleye
Beer Batter fish would be good to watch.
Those jugs work EVERYWHERE, I have caught fish in Southeast Asia with them.

Those Copper Taste really good...Cali has them but not that huge..Thanks LSO
Good thing about the Alaska fishing is you don't have barricuda and sharks stealing your fish!
Hey Brook, my apologies... I am not sure why these TY algorithms keep changing.. I never got any notification from this channel.. The Alaskan first video popped up through some other video... I will subscribe and check out your videos... It is saved in a new window all together... Cheers, little angel!! I called you little angel, because, I saw you enjoy the food Victor cooks just like a little kid!! :-D
Great video!

Nice fishing
The forced opinions and reviews at the end are always hilarious lmao.
Your videos are amazing, always with beautiful fish, congratulations you are an excellent professional fisherman.👍🎣😊❤🥰
God bless you always!
Crazy how Alaska fish look similar to Florida fish.
Just got back from Alaska, J-Docks is where it's at Seward AK
we have subscribed to your channel,.. your videos are very interesting, we support you ❤️
Amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How is it that you don’t have tens of millions of subs? You’re not political so you can’t be doing anything wrong I just don’t get it
but I love it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice video
For the bread try equal parts mayo and parmesean.
Awesome
Brooke needs to put rod under the left shoulder. you get a faster hook set.
Did you bring your own gear to Alaska or do you use the charter boats equipment?
I will go one day
Nice
Too bad we don't have lingcod and rockfish here on the east coast.
But we have mutton’s and snook
What's the name of the conventional low-profile fishing reel you were using
I live in Seward!!
Little bit of anchovy paste
How do you keep your kastking from rusting?
I hear a skate 3 song🤣
9:42 What kind of fertilizer are you using please ?
How do you travel with your fishing rods?
