Don't forget to replace the plastic shift linkage bushings under the shifter. Those are super prone to breaking and damaging the transmissions over a period of time.

Nah......add tiny red led light strips on top of the Ferrari logo so they light up and make the Ferrari logos glow red. Then on the valve covers, above glowing red led Ferrari logo, paint the words "MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD PAL."

There's 2 harnesses because it's a flat plane, basically 2 inline fours
the sync with the music at 10:31 was perfect
What an engine. I like how Quinn explains the process in detail. One thing, the spark plug covers, I would have painted the same red but also sanded down where it says Ferrari and also the stripes
Quinn is so good at explaining things. Just as a side note but has he ever looked into taking acutane? I suffered with painful acne like that and the six months it took to use changed my life forever.

I used to wait until Spike TV would show Horsepower TV on only a specific time slot back in the day which was a struggle to time right.
6:33 the oil pressure sender terminals have markings on them... G and WK. The harness with the yellow ring on it should be matched up to the G terminal.
The harnesses come together at the timing belt! TDC is the only thing tying them

You should check the recalls on those cars. I believe tavarish has one burnt down because of the missed recall
You painted the covers but you should take a razor blade to where it says Ferrari in the lines so silver shows through so it looks factory and you also see the logo better just my two. Cents.

The recent builds have been so much fun to watch, especially that Z. Never been a Nissan guy, but I’ve recently done some research on the vr30 and the gtr vr38, and I’m impressed. Gonna be jealous of whoever wins it lol

You went to all that effort of removing motor and doing timing belt and didn’t replace tensioners or pulleys
You should always pull pins out of tensioners before winding over motor as well

You didn't mention anything about having 5 valves a cylinder. I find that super cool! I have 8 Audis, from early 2000s 97-05 A4s, S4s, A6s A8s. All with either 1.8t 20v, 2.7tt 30v or the 4.2 40v like in both the A6 and A8. And its very cool they are all timing belt motors which is my favorite part. I was really intrigued seeing the Ferrari having a timing belt and then timing gears. Super cool.

There’s really no big deal about it being a manual. It was actually way more rare to have the f1 transmission in a 355. And you should have replaced all of the oil seals in there also.
Remember at this time Ferrari was using Fiat electronics, so not a surprise that it has some stuff that looks like it's 2 4 cylinder engines put together, Rj in Oz
The engine ECUs are Bosch Motronic. Same for the Ferrari 348. The later 355's had a single ECU, but thereafter, all Ferrari's had dual ECUs. From the point of redundancy, it's great. You can swap components from side to side to help with fault diagnosis. In some situations, it's possible to run on 1 bank only.
