In college Johnny Manziel was like a 99 overall player playing on rookie. He broke every tackle and would throw it up in quadruple coverage and his receiver always caught it.
Chris Tso lmao
2 words Mike Evans
Natey G Swope was great too
Manziel sucked tbh...he just had Evans
Receivers wins the Heisman for their quarterbacks. Always have....
They say heismans are never won in september, but I'd say last year was definitely the exception to that with Lamar Jackson winning it
William Dodson UofLs O-line completely fell apart at the end of the year but by then the numbers were already to crazy to consider anyone else.
I punched my car radio so hard when he busted that, that I broke my finger. Yes, I'm a Nole fan.
I completely disagree. I did not think Jackson deserved the Heisman just like I don't think he deserves it this year.
Cody Hurley oh he MORE than deserved it last year but I agree definitely not this year. I hope Barkley goes on and wins it this year
Cody Hurley he has no chance this year unless Barkley, Mayfield, Adams, Love, and Rudolph all die before the year is over
That was the worst Mariota highlight you could've chose from his arsenal..
The MOTM I agree, but it was still an incredible play
The MOTM it's because that was the play that essentially won them the game. If he had been sacked their they would've lost all momentum and most likely lost the game and not been in the college football playoff. So it essentially saved their season.
MSU.fan.98 MSU sucks lol
Brett the Fluffball Knight based on what?
MSU.fan.98 the fact that michigan STILL beats you in EVERY SINGLE CATAGORY
Every last one
despite you owning them recently
Holy shit could you imagine what would happen to current Sam Bradford if he tried that same move? He might actually die.
Made my day
Just like another Oklahoma QB, Jason White, he was a living injury.
@@RepublicConstitutionAnd trophy winner
@@Ronthaldd 😂, you think that impresses me? Let's see how many they win once they enter big dog territory in the SEC. Chump
That Cam Newton run was by far the best play...
Nahh Lamar was against the second team in the nation
I feel like cams moment should be that crazy comeback in the iron bowl against Bama wasn't it like a 21 point comeback after the half?
I think that's definitely what sealed it for him, there was no Heisman debate of any kind after that performance. But his run against LSU was such a singular display of that dude's freakish athletic ability, it's what more people remember
War Cam Eagle!!!!!
diegos9753 don't remind me of that lol
He put Derrick Henry's moment at the Auburn game and he played amazing in that game, but nobody seriously considered him until he destroyed LSU.
diegos9753 cams shoulda been the 4th and 1 nyone?
Lamar Jackson is easily one of the most explosive and exciting athletes to ever play in college football.
honestly have no idea how your channel isn't bigger. hope it blows up during the season. keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Marcus Perez-Brennan nah I know what some of these clips could of been better
He just popped up on my recommended, and this is my first video ever seeing of him. Hes growing.
Johnny Manziel's highlight might be the most impressive of the bunch. The kid was electric in College. He made plenty of those @ A & M. Kind of a shame he couldn't translate into the NFL
cocaine is a hell of a drug
He could if he took the job seriously. All he wants to do is party and have a good time. You can get away with that in college, but not the NFL.
I don't know man, how many 6' rushing QBs do you know in the NFL who make it. It's a tough league for players like him, even without the ego or partying
Harry Gillen Russell Wilson and Mike Vick are really the only ones in modern football
Lamar Jackson has the best highlights of the bunch
the stretch from Cam - mariota were a core 5 years of my life. each of those years being able to turn on the TV and getting another outstanding, but different, mobile, powerful QB who could make plays was something that you wont see like that again.
You don't watch much football. Players like that have been around since the leather helmet era.
@@encycl07pedia- dickhead smh. "You're not that guy, pal."
the south Carolina game was Ingram's "heisman coming out party". but his hiesman moment, in my opinion, was that screen pass he took 80 something yards in the sec championship game against Florida.
Facts I remember that
RG3 could have been special man 😓
Mabye he'll pull a Nick Foles
Them injuries man😔
He was and then got hurt
Bob Smithereens but he did tho... and he made the playoffs... what are you talking about there way worst QBs who start right now that’s playing
Bob Smithereens just admit injuries fucked his career
Tim Tebow, Cam Newton, and Lamar Jackson. We're the most impressive.
I don't want to see guys correcting mistakes just in time and flipping themselves in the air and risking injury.
I want to see accuracy, and the ability to power run. Lamar Jackson isn't a power runner, but that spin he did protects himself from taking a hit straight on.
9:26 -RIP Roberto Aguayo
I still have yet to witness a back as impressive as Reggie Bush. The way he could elude defenders and hit that fifth gear was superhuman
The consistency of it
Mariota play when he jumped over the defender vs Oregon st is way better it was a rivalry game too
yes, i am an Oregon State fan but that was great
I'm surprised Bradford didn't get hurt when he got flipped. Btw, I forgot Ingram, Richardson and Jones were on the same team. That is unfair...
Witch King of Angmar Eddie Lacy was the third string running back in 2010, behind Ingram and Richardson, and with Julio. I still can't figure out how that 2010 team lost 3 games.
RollTide that is crazy indeed
Frank gore was the 3rd string RB for the 01 Miami hurricanes
They said hos hand was hurt in that highlight of bradford. That guy is the most expensive bandaid.
RollTide and its crazy how glen coffey never turned out as a pro. That would have been a nice string of backs
Troy Smith's Heisman moment was the entire Michigan game
Reggie Bush is still the most electric player ive ever seen, he was literally unstoppable, dude averaged 11 yards a carry lmao
Nah, Barry Sanders, Oklahoma State/Detroit Lions.
I think that LSU game was Derrick Henry's "Heisman moment" because it also took Leonard Fournette out of the lead after the Bama defense stoned him all night long
Britton Thompson it was. He wasn't even really in the discussion until Bama shut down Fournette and then Henry showed out.
Thanks for posting this. My favorite play was the RG3 lob because of the opponent, implications and unlikeliness.
RG3 was so freaking athletic and cool to watch I wish he never got injured against Seattle just like D-Rose
that cam run will NEVER get old. probably the best run i’ve ever seen honestly, especially just for how freakin huge he is.
Reggie Bush was amazing at USC. One of my favorites college players
Alabama had mark Ingram and Julio Jones on the same team in college. Wow. Now you know why they're always so good.
Jeff T Bama is good because of Nick...... he turned that program around!
A Duarte805 bama was good before nick
Well coming out of high school you want to play for the best and Alabama being the best they’ll continue to be the best because that’s where the best want to go
+jpmadison98 You don't remember what it was like before Saban, do you? Terrbile time to be a Bama fan.
Kvng Casp what are you talking about? The real good players want garanteed playing time, and fame of turning a program around. The 3 stars want to go to bama, the 5s want fame. And even still ≤3 stars want playing time.
it sucks that manziel is so immature but just talent wise the dude was unreal, single handedly beat Bama
RIPJimmyA7X He had a lot of Heisman moments I'd like to forget in that game.
"Single handedly?" A&M's defense came up huge in that game, as did Manziel's receivers, mainly Swope. He played really well, but nobody can do it alone.
RIPJimmyA7X His play on this list isnt even from his Heisman winning season
Michael Ritter I never said it was, he was spectacular both seasons
RIPJimmyA7X Just pointing it out
Henry’s heisman moment was against LSU not a touchdown in garbage time
Cam's whole 2010 season was a Heisman moment. That Auburn team goes 4-8 without him.
Bradford fumbled twice in two plays and that's his heisman moment? Lmao
Ryan Olson Him going upside down on the first run was his heisman moment, but he did also throw for 4700 yds and 50 TDs that year.
So his Heisman moment is getting rocked, flipping upside down and fumbling the ball out of bounds. Ok
Ryan Olson No, the most ICONIC moment of his season him upside down on the first run (fumbles had nothing to do with it), plus he had recently injured his hand, that's why the commentators are talking about his hand "being a problem"
Literally nothing about this play is ionic lol. Bradford was a stud who made countless amazing plays, this was not his Heisman moment
Ryan Olson You want to know what made that play iconic? 1. This play got the ou fans erupting with cheers (despite being a road game, ou fans travel to Stillwater all the time when ou plays there); 2) that play set up the next play which put ou up two scores on an in-state top 15 rival on the road, from which they didn't look back. Ask any OU fan what Bradfords Heisman moment was, almost all (if not every single one) will tell you that it was that play.
I miss Tebow 😭
ElijahTM miss dem 07 days
I miss manziel
I miss jameis
I miss bradford
Reggie Bush's Heisman moment is against Fresno State??
scarletrobin Fresno State was ranked Number 16 coming in, they were pretty dang good
fresno was #15 in the country so it wasnt a joke team
Fair enough!
It does feel weird seeing teams ranked so high. I was watching a video the other day where Kansas was ranked #2. Now they're lucky to get that many wins a season.
Yeah I remember that year. Going into their game against Mizzou they were both undefeated and in the top 5 of the rankings I believe. Crazy season
9:24 The last time Aguayo made a field goal
Jake Hoskins they went undefeted and won the championship so no
RIP hof
That was an extra point, genius.
he actually won the award for the best kicker in the nation that season lol
Heisman been a curse in the NFL lately y'all notice that like I mean most don't suck but some never lived up to that hype
Cam Newton and Reggie bush definitely lived up to the hype and Jameis Winston is only going into his 3rd year so give him a while. Also, Mariota is already a leader on the Titans offense so I have no clue what your point was.
Magnavix bush living up to the hype would've been him having a career similar to Adrian petersons. So he didn't live up to the hype at all
diegos9753 I would say only 3 of those people had bad careers and Rg111 was good till he blew out his knee so I'm not sure what your point is
It sucked how Mariota Broke his leg I was looking forward to Seeing him play in the Pro Bowl.
People usually say he only makes play's in the NFL because the Titans have good WR's.
Ever since he broke his leg The titans lost the rest of their games.
Mariota is a leader wherever he goes.
Mariota and Winston have been doing pretty well.
Mariota is my favorite college player ever. He was so exciting to watch on that ducks team especially when they made it to the championship
I'll be astonished if this doesn't go viral
That USC/Fresno State game where Bush had that run was a shootout. One the best college football games I've watched. Being from Fresno I thought we actually had a chance, but Reggie just carried them the whole way. Great game.
@7:42 "Art Briles was willing to let this thing go..." LOL in hindsight.
Gosh I miss those USC teams! Fight on ✌🏼
Great video idea, love your channel!!
Thanks! Really means a lot
Miss watches RGIII in college he was an absolute monster
Reggie Bush was a monster at USC.
I'm sorry but Cam Newton's game vs Lsu was one of the if not the most impressive performances I have ever seen
Especially the fact he did this being 6’6 250, I don’t think people understand how rare that is let alone a quarterback 😭
A lot of heisman winners have been good over the years. Some busts but, Ingram, cam newton, winston, mariota, All doing great.
Heisman moment(s) from some, Heisman moment from others, and several extra point attempts. What a quality video.
Deshaun Watson might've been snubbed, but Jackson was playing like the best college quarterback ever at the beginning of the year
Really good video
thanks for showing the extra points!
So many good memories. I remember watching Cam's game against Mississippi State way before the hype came. What a monster.
Then a few years later watching Johnny Football go ham against Bama to, at the time, help ND get to #1. (Of course Bama snuck back in and then whipped my team in the NC :/)
And no matter what, the NCAA will never take away Reggie's amazing season.
The dominance of Tebow was amazing
As a clemson fan seeing Tebow lay it on that team out east is so beautiful
This video took me back!
Your channel is blowing up lately! Keep up the good work, man
+RenegadeDavid thanks!
2:57 Tebow was such a beast at qb wtf😂
Wait, Tim Tebow played football?
lol
Tom Miller I know a troll when I see one
+Ken Foo yeah it took me a second lol I was like wait no way yea hes just tryna bait me in
😂😂😂
Baseball too
That Bradford flip at 3:30 is so memorable. It was awesome lol
THIS brings back so many memories. go bucks
3:40 "How about athletic ability here by Sam Bradford..." LOL good one Herbstreit
That mariota play wasnt the best of his heisman year, i was at that game with my family and that was a great play, but his best was against Wyoming when he hurdled over a dude or against Oregon state when he did the heisman pose and also hurdled a dude
I'm an LSU fan. I remember that game against Auburn, and ESPECIALLY, that run. Cam singlehandedly killed Patrick Peterson's Heisman chances on that Play, and solidified his.
I can honestly say, Cam Newton is the Greatest Football Player I have ever seen. POINT BLANK.
It's funny that the Ravens have two of these players on their roster rn and have had three all together in their history
Mariotas was a dump off...
Derek Johnson well he did break a few tackles.. but he definitely had much better plays than that lol
His was more of a complete season of work. I think it was 40 something TD's and only 2 or 3 INT's which is incredible no matter the system. And he had such a control of the offense I was honestly shocked they didn't win it all that year
Derek Johnson for real that's like the special needs kid wining homecoming
TheGrimReaper *TinCanManiac* nah B that was after he left they beat them that season
do you not like mariota?
"Art Briles was willing to let this thing go" Classic that guy
Literally subscribed after reading the title
Distinctly remember that RGIII pass. Absolutely unreal.
As a bucs and noles fan I just witnessed something I thought I would never see again
Agauyo making and extra point
why do people keep on commenting this haha.
6:25 Cam runs right back into the other 10 defenders instead of making one cut right and up for 6
The Winston highlight was better than any other
Loved watching Cam Newton at Auburn
Reggie Bush made the one sleeve popular cos of this game. He was low key a step ahead of the viral phase. I know people my age watched his first highlight film on CZcams when CZcams was just cat and fight videos.
true but i believe RG3 is the one that made it become the trend
Man, any other year Melvin Gordon wins a Heisman running away. Best college season since Barry Sanders.
Just had to be in the same year as Marcus Mariota..
Nice vid
Thisn video had so much work into it!!
This video would be so much better if you shortened it by excluding irrelevant shit like extra point kicks...but keep it up bro I enjoyed it.
Lamar could be special this year. He's a lot bigger in the category of weight. He's working on his pocket passing abilities. He's also got a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. He might not win the heisman again but keep a look out for Louisville in the playoffs this year.
Jared Evanow as a die hard Louisville fan I hope so
Jared Evanow clemson takin the dub this year too
Jared Evanow That ship sadly sailed a long time ago
Max Rothgaber Accept we beat you by over 20 points
That throw by Troy Smith was out of this world
Reggie, you stepped out of bounds on that play against Fresno State.
The biggest shock of the video was at 9:25 when aguayo made the extra point😂😂
Lavar Ball not really aguayo never missed a kick in college he was just shit in the nfl
6 minutes in and I just realized Verne won't call CBS games this season :/
Kris Maddox I never thought I would say this but I actually miss his name mixing up ass. 😂😂😂
Wow watching this again I am not in anyway an auburn fan but the way cam accelerated on that run in the span of about 5 yards is crazy
The first highlight featuring Reggie Bush (USC vs. Fresno State), that was the most exciting college football I had ever watched.
Mark ingram amd julio jones played college together
Reggie Bush was the most electric running back in college football history. Not the best but most exciting.
Johnny Manziel was the most electric college football player in the history of the game. He had numerous runs similar to this great one by Bush, PLUS dozens of electric passes (the one here against 'Bama was not his greatest). Such a shame he squandered his talent.
Reggie bush is number 2, Barry Sanders is number 1
Reggie Bush's run is my favorite, but tebow's performance against South Carolina was nuts. I wasn't a fan of the guy, but he sure was a freight train as a runner. Thanks for the post!
Reggie Bush was the best running back in college ever he changed the game! And the crazy part my favorite player was Maurice Jones drew
Aguayo made a pat. That's the most surprising part of the video.
Played in high school with Lamar Jackson
RG3 was a GOD among mortals
Omg what happened to RG3's accuracy?? That beats out every NFL pass he ever made
Should've used Marcus mariota's moment at the PAC 12 championship but his highlight was still good 👍🏻
Mariota's moment: czcams.com/video/fgEaTCCgv0k/video.html
Vinceach
clicked on the link. Yes, that moment is totally better than the one in the video for Mariota. Otherwise, great video.
Mariota heisman moment was when Todd Gurley got suspended for four games...
Vinceachu shoulda used that final throw in the championship game.... that INT was perfect to end the season on.
Cam had the best heisman moment!
nmj530 That Jackson run was crazy!!!
nmj530 by far..
nmj530 cam sucks
EASY
Rg3
cam Newton was straight dominating.
Reggie did it like no other. So glad he's in here.
I think Henry's was against LSU actually when he beat out Fournette
Keith Stone yeah they should've showed that game
Keith Stone coorect, that's when the attention shifted away from fournette.
Keith Stone exactly either those plays or the super long runs against Mississippi State
Keith Stone I'm an Lsu fan but honestly ur right GEAUX Tigers good luck to y'all this year :)
That's debatable on the grounds that Henry was never really touched during that game. It was heavily because of his line. That's tough for me to say too because I'm an LSU fan. I think the Michigan State game was more telling.
What's the purpose of the extra points? Is the pat part of the moment as well?
Ty Manning oh shut up
They're also talking about the previous play during those.
RG3 was so special and fun to watch
Reggie bush, Cam’s and manziel’s heismans are my personal favorite
Tebow should have won 2 years in a row
No. He should have won in 2008, not 2007.
According to the NCAA there is no 2005 Heisman winner. You might as well have put Vince running for his life in the Rose Bowl.
Dylan Treadway nobody wants to watch that nonsense #FreeReggie #Bring5Home
Well, if Vince would have won the Heisman it would have been his GW TD pass against Ohio St. The Rose Bowl would have been after the Heisman.
I think VY should have won the Heisman anyways, he, Michael Vick and I would even say Troy Smith changed the QB position forever in college football and showed how dangerous a true dual threat can be.
Tim Horvath
"I think VY should have won the Heisman anyways, he, Michael Vick and I would even say Troy Smith changed the QB position forever"
Charlie Ward was way before those guys, along with several others. Hell, Fran Tarkenton was a scrambler.
@@Jabberwocky237 Vick was exciting but he didn't really change the landscape, not because he wasn't exciting or liked, its just, he didn't change the landscape. Troy Smith had that one year and was forgotten. Vince Young straight up changed everything. After that people were trying to find their duel threats, always saying the next Vince Young etc. The only problem is that there is no next Vince Young, he's pretty much the only running qb who can take over a game and win it single handedly even when his team is playing bad. Every other running qb needs a stacked team so they can inflate stats.
Reggie Bush had so many moments I can't just choose one
