Alex Smith may have trained hard all that time to return to NFL, and it may have not been statistically his best season or a full season, but with him, he took the WFT to the playoffs. He didn't let an injury stop his career, he ended it on his own term. Huge respect for him.
Alex Smith's return was such a wonderful moment, especially when he could have died at one point. Deserved that comeback award
Nothing tops Alex Smith. Dozens of surgeries, almost lost his leg and life, comes back and doesn’t lose a game.
