This song is from the 70s. It's relating to the Vietnam conflict and any war really. How the generals and top 1% start the wars, for their own profit, but have others do the fighting. Ozzy Osborne is a classic rock star! When you hear and see him speak, you'd wonder how the heck he can sing the way he can!! lol

I was in the Navy when I purchased their first album. I was stationed on a Destroyer, so the ships store was too small to store albums, so I had to buy their 1st album on cassette. It was 1970, I was 18. I've never heard of them before. The album cover caught my eye, with the scary looking witch in the garden of what looked like a church. Well, when I placed it in my cassette and hit play, I was completely "BLOWN AWAY!!!!" Ozzie's' voice, and the very unique sound of the band. I was hooked for life!!! I'm 70 years old now, and Sabbath sounds just as good as they did to me in 1970.

Just another reason to start another 20-year war, where the rich get richer and the ukrainians pay the price in blood. I see so many people claim to be anti-war but as soon as they see one happening they jump on the bandwagon cuz it's the latest popular thing to support! It's still a fucking war and it's not okay. Nations rise and fall that is the story of this globe we are all on. The only reason our government got involved in the Ukraine is because of the 20 some biolabs that are in the Ukraine funded by fauci and Friends. I hate reactors in general watching fan-made videos uploaded by some eighth grader in like 2011. If it's not incorrect, comic sans lyrics with cringe over the solos ("and nOw we jsut bask in glory :DD"), it's a random-ass montage with garbage audio so the reactors are just like "I don't really get the video; also it sounds like this could use a remaster."

I'm even more impressed and excited that Black Americans are listening and exploring music I grew up listening ass a young Mexican kid in the 1970s and early 80s!

Try "Snowblind", guys. The chorus is heavy AF.
Early Sabbath can be rough to get into because of the sparse soundstage, but "The Wizard" packs a GROOVE that will put a smile on your face every time you hear it.
BTW, it's almost a trademark of Black Sabbath's to make songs that you don't neccessarily like that much initially, but that you're forced to surrender to as your own musicality catches up.

They were tired of the hippies turning everything into peace and love when the world was anything but that. That's why they wrote this.

Motley Crue was on tour with Ozzy as the supporting act during the ant snorting incident. The reason that it was highlited was that Ozzy was the only musician the Crue met who could out party and out crazy them. Ozzy was notorious on the road with Sabbath and more so when he went solo. Sabbath is undeniably Ozzy's greatest band, I saw them play live during their 1st reunion tour.

The drugs the partying the music, that was what made music great was the pure enthusiasm to still get up and play even after weeks of endless hardcore partying.
