Not to minimize Hope's death, but Cole's was just as tragic. "Innocent" or not, all lives are of the _highest_ value, so none can be worth more or less than another's. They were both human, both helpless in that situation, and let's not forget that Cole was practically still a child himself. And "potential" isn't an argument; you never know how much time or potential a person has left, and your worth is not defined by your potential, anyway. Again, this isn't to minimize Hope's death. This is to say _stop_ minimizing Cole's. He's someone's son too, and as a mother myself, I know age makes no difference when it's _your_ baby in the body bag.
I agree. While bold on the writers to kill two characters from another major soap, Cole’s death was constantly thrown under the rug. They forgot Cole was a major player on OLTL.

I know she turned out to be innocent, but you try thinking two people are dead because of you, and see if you can "deal with it".
