A few weeks after this performance, Bono asked the audience at his conert if they had seen Putri's version, saying in amazement she had taken the song to a new stratospheric level.
She is blind and mostly self taught. Brilliant and amazing!!
It seems the only music skill Putri studied with a teacher was playing flute. She said she did it as an opportunity to explore and learn more about breath control, as well as pickup some music theory.

Powerful rendition. She was born blind. For her audition she sang a song she wrote and won the Golden Buzzer. You probably already know what the Golden Buzzer is, but in case you don't, it lets them go from the tryouts to the top ten.
