I’m glad Miura added Schierke to Guts’ group. She’s such a breath of fresh air amongst all the violence, gore, viscera, and grimness of the Berserkverse. She’s very resourceful and apparently her and Guts meeting was meant to be. Plus she’s wise beyond her years. Also, Schierke’s smile is also a great thing to see.
Most importantly she does so without being basically a gag character which is more than I can say for puck and isidro. I dont mind if they had a few moments here and there but at this point by the end of beserk I was cringing anytime I saw them on a page as I expected the worst.

I like the Big Brother Little Sister bond between her and guts. I think it’s a very important and underrated influence keeping guts from being far colder and crueler than he otherwise would be, He’s very conscious of her observing him and taking after him.

After watching some of the videos on the series here, I decided to start reading the manga, and so far I have been enjoying it. Thank you Marvellous videos.
I don’t trust Sonia. She’s a mind reader and still hasn’t sussed out Griffith’s backstory? I call BS. She’s probably darker than pre eclipse Griffith if she’s chill with his past deeds. I know she’d make great second sacrifice and is probably dunder headed enough to do it willingly.

What I love about the series is that all of his life guts is forced to join a party. This time he seeks out a party which is great. Even though the reunion fight with griffin mimic the fight of their first encounter in the recent chapters. Once guts is outside griffin’s story, he will end griffin for good and free the moonlight child.
Also I think he would say one more thing to Griffin before he dies to guts hands in like the astral world. Then guts meets the idea of evil and that is the final battle. Thus telling the idea is the person who broke the cannon event and tells the idea of evil that no one control fate.

i think that is the best reward for Guts that he will bring most of griffith's downfall but I wonder who will do it and land the final blow on griffith. I guess it all depends how the studio is going to end the series. We almost at the last arc anyways and probably and epilogue to cap off what they're doing. The next chapter is coming April 28 thankfully, so I await to see what happens in the story. Perhaps if Farnese can not help with helping and downtrodden Guts and rescuing Casca, perhaps Schierke can volunteer in that role. I find Schierke and Farnese being attracted to Guts adorable; he unintentionally won the hearts of many people he encounters in his journey.
Im assuming it wont end in a way we think, like neither guts nor griffith truly winning or losing. It woulf be more fitting for the story about the struggle of humans, for the humans to struggle to peace.
i remember seeing a theory somewhere saying that, since Griffith and the Moonlight Boy are connected, Guts may have to kill the MB in order to truly get revenge. Casca, of course, will be vehemently against this. so the story may go into a struggle between whether or not Guts will give in to his Beast of Darkness to kill Griffith, even if it means killing his own son
@@ss-wc7kf that would be a strange way to end it honestly. yeah the mental struggle of having to kill your own son in the name of revenge and to save your live as well as your lovers would be a really hard hitting end. it just wouldn't feel like the series at all if it did commit to that. what would be more fitting is if guts was having this mental struggle and the moonlight child offed himself for the sake of protecting them knowing this was the only possible way (that is if no plot holes come around). guts wouldn't have to kill his son but would break even knowing that his life is safe but that the cost was his greatest treasure and casca's as well. never getting a true happy ending but an ending nonetheless.
This would be a shocking but reasonable end. My guess is Griffith and Guts may have their showdown in the astral realm. We remember: Griffith ordered his apostles to kill flora, because she's the only one that could kick his ass in the astral realm. The one time Slan slit over Guts midriff gave him a bad wound in material as well as astral. The sword of the skull knight is capable to cut through realms and given that recent event Guts is shooked to his deepest parts. It might give way to the black dog to overtake him completely and thus let's him evolve to a state like the skull knight. Casca might die by his hands which wakes his inner self to split off and bite Griffith neck. I know it's a wild and maybe a bit illogical theory.
I know everyone hates puck but I love puck😂😂 gives the manga balance and gives just the right amount of softness to show the contrast of the dark world of berserk.
Puck is great! He’s a great companion for Guts, especially during Black Swordsman and Conviction. Puck is partially the reason why Guts was willing to open himself getting close with people.
I did only a couple of months ago. Shit was so good I couldn’t put it down. God I can’t wait for more, and hopefully a completely accurate 1:1 anime adaptation.

i wish she was older and i dont mean that in a weird way. her obsession with guts is disturbing when you consider that she is so young and barely in her teens if not at all. so here is a very VERY young girl having a crush on a man in his early to mid 20's and while it can be seen as an overreaction to being given so much praise and attention that she accidentally starts to "love" guts, it would just be better if she was older and maybe in her late teens for it to not be AS disturbing.

Which I agree, that was not needed, and that scene should have been scrapped all together. But her having a crush on Guts was normal to me. Because all the girls had crushes on him. Jill liked him too, and even Erica obviously has a little crush on Guts and holds him dearly. What's funny, most of the girls in the series hated Guts at first until they got to know him. Most of my friend's sisters developed crushes on me, even though I was older than them. They all had many reasons why. Because I was "fun", "nice", "cute", "strong" or "cool". It's innocent. When young girls crush on an older man, it's one of the biggest compliments any person can get. It means she sees that man as her ideal male role model, she looks up to that person a lot and holds huge respect for him. Guts never acts out with any of the girls because he views them as little sisters. His only love is Casca. Nobody had no problem with her being young and a member of the group. They just don't like the crush and that "scene".

Miura's work on nhentai have only had her do butt stuff with orcs, then only her Astral form had a breeding session with Guts to overcome the Beast of Darkness after oral wasnt enough to get him to pop. So, even that wasn't conclusive. I'm sure she knows how as she has read the books on it at her mentor's home. It's canon.
