I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

I bought two Rain and Ribbon and I love everything about these . I’ve worn them both in the different ways Lisa suggested in her launch video and I am absolutely impressed with them. Charlotte Tulberry’s we’re not even close to this, they were crumbly, they didn’t last long and they cost more than these . One more thing I used Rain as a blush too, and it did not disappear from my skin stayed put all day. I deposited a small amount on the back of my hand and lightly applied it with a brush … simply lovely 🥰

I got Muse, and I'm really pleased with it. I wish Blush Lightly was available as well, because Blush is a bit too dark for me.
Blush is very dark, muse excellent but when you eat some color DOES go down...only saying
I bought Rain and Muse in the Velveteen formula on launch day. After trying them for a couple days, I had to go back and buy the whole set of colors. I really, really love this formula. This might be making all my other matte lipsticks obsolete. It hands down beats all the other liquid lipsticks I've ever tried. I don't actually like liquid lipsticks because they are so drying, but these are not at all. I love how they feel on my lips after they've dried. LOVE

I was waiting for your review. Blush and Muse will be in my mailbox today. I always hated liquid lipsticks until Chanel's Le Rouge Duo Ultra Tenue. I love two colors, Chic Rosewood and Light Brown (discontinued) but they are gone or often out of stock. Most lipsticks feather on me, and I love not having to constantly reapply. You have me excited about these. FYI, Lancôme's Bi-Facil eye makeup remover will make short work of those. Thanks for the video!💚 I hope she does these in Cinnabar and Sorcery.

I ordered Dragon, Affair, Fawn, and Ribbon. I wore Dragon as soon as I opened it and it. Doesn’t. Budge. I am really impressed with the formula and everything, but I’m not surprised at all. It’s Lisa!!! ❤❤❤
I got Blush and Jazz! I definitely prefer the True Velvets as the best formula ever (imo) but I am not surprised that Lisa managed a fantastic liquid lip. She’s the absolute queen

I hadn't thought to compare my Velvet Rain with the liquid one, so watching your review, I was quite surprised to see it's slightly different. But still lovely! I hope Lisa brings out a liquid in the colour of Velvet Beauty, as that is my favourite overall of her velvets, but I'm absolutely delighted with Rain! 💋💋

I felt the velveteen version is a little deeper than the original velvet matte lipsticks. I was drawn to rain but it turns out the matte lipstick rain on me is a little too red to my taste. Your review attempts me to grab a rain!
Love them. If you add a second swipe the color will be closer to the original color. You are right on your review. Bought 2 going to order 2 more.

I've ordered affair and your video makes me want Rain! They both look great on you. I would've liked to see the swatches dry down completely to compare against their True Velvet pairs because Lisa said they do go darker with time. Great video!

Haven’t tried the liquids yet but in the bullets Rain is my favorite rose-pink lip color of all time, basically the only “ pink” lip color i even own anymore 😆☺ 😍🤩 and affair is my favorite everyday autumn lip color of all time 😍🤩 affair looks lovely with your red top 😀
Rain comes across more terracotta on me! I wish it was the rose colour but nope, not my fave. Some colours often go more orangey on my lips.
I've got Fawn and Rain. ( did not got any of the new shades in the velvets this fall, and now I am so pleased with that, because I think I prefer this formula, even I normally don't like liquid lipstick at all) Lisa can do a excellent lip product that's for sure. ( ordered the cleanser and the mist as well, and even knowing that these are expensive, I have to say these are so good, I am in love with the cleanser,...)
My favorite liquid lipsticks are from Lelo Beauty. They are long lasting and in beautiful shades

I ordered 5 right away, muse , blush, affair, ribbon and jazz. They are delightful . Can’t go wrong. I know you did comparisons on the velveteen and velvets and said they are not exactly the same. Lisa did say herself they are cousins not sisters so there will be a small hue difference. Glad they won you over. I have no dry lips issue at all. Love them.
I ❤ these! I received Fawn, Muse, Blush and Ribbon. I don’t typically like liquid lipsticks but I knew Lisa would not disappoint. As you said, these are easy to apply and wear really well.

I ordered Ribbon bc I didn't have the color yet and absolutely love it.
I saw these and fell in love, buying Rain and Blush. Being a red head with blue eyes with a red/blue tinge to my natural lip colour.
Blush is nice and dark and leaves a blackberry stain when smudged plus it lasts for hours. I adore Rain, which is amazing with full coverage, but for some reason I'm finding it disappears after a couple of hours. But I love the shade, so will not return it, but resign myself to regular checks and reapplication. So good but not quite as amazing as I hoped.
Oh....you sold me on it...I am getting Ribbon now 🥰
I got Muse and it’s great. I wore it with the Muse eye palette and it went together so well. I hope she releases some different colors! I have Blush and Fawn in stick form so I didn’t go after those-I’m shade 2 in her foundations so it’s funny when I see comments calling Blush too dark, because it doesn’t come across that way on me. Everyone’s different though. Like you I don’t like liquid lipsticks and this is the only one I have now, but I like it so well that I’m wondering if I should pick up Ribbon in this format instead of the bullet, which I’ve wanted for ages… there’s something so classic about a bullet though. These are very nice on you!

Hi, Charlotte!!! When I saw LE had come up with liquid lipsticks I bought four of them without hesitation the minute they launched 🤪🤪🤪 I didn’t get any of the CT’s bc I still remember a similar product she launched several years ago, a moussy kind of formula that I hated… The dry down time for me is a very important factor in the purchasing decision 🤷🏻♀️
Just thought I'd give an update after finally getting the courage to wear one in public lol. I wore Ribbon on Christmas day and it lasted PERFECTLY!! I did my makeup at around 10am and got home around 5pm. Obviously, my lips looked a little dry and had faded slightly, but after eating and drinking it could have been a lot worse. You could still totally see my lips were red. WIN! Now we just need Lisa to release all the shades lol

I used this lipstick and it did not stay on all day like I thought it would
I already picked up Rain, Fawn and Muse. And Lisa has some crazy fast international shipping so I already received them.
I also tried the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Blur, which I disliked, they reminded me of the PMG liquid lipsticks which I hated.
I loved mine! The only negative is that the shelf life is 6 months. The glosses are 38, i thought that it would be more.
Ok long wear stays on after eat n beverages. I'm going to definitely check it out. Maybe she will have Socery back in stock.🎉

I love the Burberry liquid lipsticks - they are my favorites. I’d love to try the LE liquid lipsticks but none of the colours are calling my name. I saw that Valentino is coming out with liquid lipsticks and there is a pink that is stunning. If Lisa coming out with Carnival, then I will purchase it.
Can you comment on whether you like to velveteen or velvet formulas better? Because I have these colours. And I’m wondering if I should buy the same colour in another format. Seems unnecessary?

I didn't order these lipsticks (yet). I really don't like liquid lipsticks, because they are making my lips feel like the sand in Sahara desert and they always get flaky/crusty/ugly..... I think you can tell I hate them 😂.

I sent back blush because it is MEGA dark on pale skin. it crept into the fine lines around my lips and it was an utter NIGHTMARE to remove those. Much darker than the website pics. Rain is pretty much exactly the same colour as Charlotte Tilbury rose blur but the Lisa Eldridge formula is very much superior. I actually sent the Charlotte Tilbury rose blur back, because the Lisa Eldridge one is so much better and I knew I wouldn't use the CT one again (I'd only used it twice). I have Muse as well. I've ordered the matching lip liners because I am a bit clumsy with lipstick
CT would not dry down for me. It was over an hour later

Charlotte, what have you done, I knew I shouldn’t have watched it but couldn’t help myself. Why is it that @Lisa_Eldridge cannot make a lipstick I do not like? I have so many of her lipsticks and lip oils and yes, I use those lip oils to condition my lips and even wear them to bed. Now this ethereal liquid lip perfection from the Queen of colours and products. 😞 I told myself last time, no more as it costs a gazillion dollars from duty/taxes to get them in Canada. Of course they looked stunning on you Charlotte as you are a muse. 💭 🤔 🧐

Am I the only one dissapointed with velveteen lipstick??? I have it in ribbon, as I own bullet lipstick in this shade and I love it. It looks beautiful after applying and it's kissproof, but it's not staying well after meal, and that's what expected from it. And I tested it against bullet lipstick with lip pencil and honestly they wear off the same with meal☹️. And I think bullet lipstick looks better straight after aplying, making lips looks smooth, and liquid does accentuate texture.... Anyone else with similar experience??? As my bullet is nearly done I will pick up next as velveteen slightly dissapointed me...

affair looks a little purple to me
I was so impressed with mine! My lips are prone to dryness, and I was able to comfortably wear this all day and reapply it with no problem. The only drawback for me is the shades. I love Blush, but the Velveteen shade is a lot warmer. Most of her shades are too warm for me, so I was disappointed that this one went from a cooler shade to a warmer one 😔
Am I the only one where the velveteens DO NOT STAY ON? :( I bought one in affair right when it launched and it just disappears from my lips after 2 hours of wear. if i eat or drink something is gone almost immediately... so disappointed!
They last on me, but I do have a friend that they don't work for
