    I just recently found a star $100 bill from 2006 with a print run of 128k. Serial is HK03222471*. It's actually in really nice shape too, and I'm starting to wonder if it's worth a good amount of money.

    • @RobFindsTreasure
      @RobFindsTreasure  Před 6 lety

      That's a MONSTER note! Regular $100 Star Notes sell for about $110-$120. Ones with 640K print runs sell for around $125-$140. I'd say yours is at least worth $200, more if it is in crisp condition. It wouldn't surprise me if you were to put it up on eBay at $140 starting bid (listed correctly) and see it fetch more than $200. Or you can put it at $500 or best offer and just see if you get any bites of course!

      @jordanhosfeldt4087 Před 6 lety

      RobFindsTreasure Yeah it's nice and crisp. May put it on my eBay store, may not, they make it awful to sell because of the fees. Im sure it'd be the jewel on there next to all the other stuff. I'd definitely be happy to get a bit of money for it though.

  • @drewlew18
    @drewlew18 Před 6 lety

    I know it sounds a bit crazy, but you should hunt $10,000 in ones, $10,000 in twos, $10,000 in fives, $10,000 in tens, $10,000 in twenties, $10,000 in fifties, and $10,000 in hundreds! It would be the ultimate search, and you could make a series out of them; one video per day during the week. Do hundreds on Monday, fifties on Tuesday, twenties on Wednesday, tens on Thursday, fives on Friday, twos on Saturday, and finally, ones, along with a wrap-up video (and a mail call) on Sunday! [And also you would get to keep a bunch of cool bills, and sell the higher denomination ones on eBay!]

    Hey Rob, found a star note in my change. 2013 -L11011898*
    3.2 million run, on not rare end of scale. Does it have potential for a birthday? Nov 1, 1898? Someone’s long passed grandparent?

    Rob I have a question and can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere. I have this 500 dollar strap of 5 dollar bills. They are uncirculated. They are consecutive serial numbers and they are star notes. Also a birthday note. Serial is 03147101* it goes all the way to 03147200*. Is there any value here? It's from 2013. Its apparently not rare according to star note tracker websites.

    • @RobFindsTreasure
      @RobFindsTreasure  Před 6 lety +1

      As a set (full strap) it should fetch at least 1.25 face value on eBay. $600-$650, IMHO.

    Amazing vid what’s the difference between star notes and normal botes

    • @RobFindsTreasure
      @RobFindsTreasure  Před 6 lety

      The star notes are actually replacement notes for any damaged or bad notes made. It's illegal to just recreate the same note (same serial number) so they add the star to change it to a different serial number. There's a lot less made of them so they are more rare, hence can have more value to collectors.

      Should have sold it! But it is tough to just keep big denomination star notes unless they are rare or their serial numbers are cool!

      Snook Industries Productions LLC No, it’s his video series, not yours. Nothing wrong with his into (new or old). You don’t have a right to tell someone how to produce and edit their videos. Just enjoy the content.
