Loughborough is a well know university in the UK and is considered quite prestigious, however, the student experience during the application process, open day visit and interview when we applied for my son was abysmal and put him off accepting their offer. However the town of Loughborough is beautiful and only a 10 minute train ride to Leicester city centre.

I am coming this Oct for a program with and media and communication department. I wanted to know what is it’s reputation in media industries and is placement assistance provided to the students ?
Hi Harsha.. thank you for watching my video. I'm a student of work psychology so I don't have any idea about its reputation in media industries because that's not my field.
university doesn't provide placements but the uni does have a careers network which can help you with getting guidance on how to build your cv, along with taking mock interviews etc.

What about part time jobs? Are they hard to get in Loughborough?

How did you apply for Msc Work Psychology without BPS accreditation? Are there any supporting documents that I can submit for the same?
As far as I remember, you are required to pay around £67 to get BPS accreditation

I have applied for the course Accounting and Financial Management.
If you are in contact with someone who currently lives in the campus accommodation, please ask them the rating of different self catered accommodation.

Hey, I was planning to join Loughborough in the upcoming sept intake, since my undergrad was not a BPS accredited degree, I have been offered Business Psychology,
I would like to know more about the course as well as the cost of living and availability of part time jobs in Loughborough? If it's really worth choosing.
You can get your degree accredited from BPS and then you’ll be offered Work psychology’

You should wait for other uni decisions also and then compare your course modules of all the uni you have applied at before taking a decision

I know a few people who did MSc IB and they loved the course and the modules. However, I think getting into a Russel group university will be better. Regarding the job opportunities, Uk is dead atm. Especially part time in Lboro is even difficult to find because it’s a small town so there are lesser stores and stuff as compared to other cities

@@shrutisinha3863 I received an offer as well. According to what I have seen, heard and read, it seems to be a very respectable university with high employability ratio.
Also, it is one of 108 universities in the world to hold a triple accreditation.
In fact, I accepted my offer letter.
