She ended up on neocate - but I think that if I had the mental bandwidth to have watched more videos (or taken your course! I didn't know about it!) we could have avoided that. This is a big step towards better quality infant formulas in the USA!! I do wish their DHA/ARA was derived from fish oil or egg though :/ I am a fan of Baby's Only dairy whey formula and I think I'll stick with them in case I formula feed baby #2.

What I’m concerned about is the fact that it’s nonfat milk. I heard somewhere that the milk needs to be whole fat because it’s important baby gets fat for their brains

Can I ask why you prefer Bobbie over kendamil? I’d love to see a video comparing the two. They seem pretty similar to the everyday person but I notice you don’t include kendamil on your recs
In the past I think it was because Kendamil wasn’t officially available in the USA and had to be imported - but now it’s in every Target! 😊
We tried for 4 months with this formula. It made my baby sicker and sicker. Just canceled 😞

My son is 11 months and I have been breast feeding 100% Reason one: I love the bond between baby and me. Reason two: baby will not take any formula 😩. Ive tried almost every brand and he will not take it. So I decided to purchase this formula hoping it will taste similar to breast milk...but you mentioned about babies with allergies.
In December, our son had an allergic reaction to eggs at 8 months old and broke out in hives. Thankfully that was it but it did scare us and we've been super cautious. So far he can eat waffles and pancakes that already has egg cook in it. We just haven't tried eggs alone again..yet.
So my questions are:
Will Bobbie be a good choice considering he had one episode of an allergy?
And should i just tough it out and slowly give him whole milk cause he's almost one?

@therookieparent he did try it but he wouldn't drink it. I just kept pushing through with my breast milk until.he was ready to drink whole milk. Thankfully.my other son drink formular so we can supplement 😊
Has anyone changed from enfamil gentlease to bobbie?? My baby has been using it for no special reason other than my daughter taking the same formula. I honestly see no change in spitting up . He has no issues with colics or pooping so I think he just needs to outgrow the spit up phase. I know enfamil is partially hydrolyzed protein, and bobbie is intact. I just hope it doesn't affect my baby's digestive system.

My 3 month old baby just started exclusively formula feeding. We started off with Enfamil A2 because I heard good things about A2 milk but he is healthy and has good weight gain. Would switching to Bobbie (A1 milk) be better in general because of the ingredients?
I feel like there’s not much info about A2 (or I don’t know as much about the Enfamil A2 but I assume it was good cuz it was newer and uses grass-fed cows too) so kinda confused which route to go.

Hi Judy- not sure if you’ll see this, but I am now in the very same situation- we are using an A2 formula, but are interested in trying Bobbie. There’s still not a ton of info on A2. Did you ever get any clarity on this?

Hello! I just started watching your videos and it’s great insight. This may be a silly question but when a baby is born, how do you know if they allergic to things?
Basically they’ll have a noticeable reaction. Like their poop will be different or they get a reaction on their skin like a rash, and they’ll experience discomfort, so like bloating, crying, arching, etc.

bobbie contains nonfat milk and i just read somewhere that babies under 2 shouldnt be drinking low fat or nonfat milk. Will my 2 months old baby be getting enough nutrition for brain growth?
Most of the formulas sold in the US contain low-fat or nonfat milk. I’m still doing my research but the only formula I found that contains organic whole milk is a Swiss brand called Loulouka. I wish we could get this in the US.
Edit: I read Bobbi formula does contain algae based DHA which is essential for brain development. However, definitely run it by your pediatrician.
Pretty much all formula uses no fat milk- loulouka even changed to skim milk. The only whole milk baby formula is Kendamil. Whole milk is typically harder for little tummies to digest. That’s why formulas add the fat from oils into the formula.
The whole milk in Kendamil is used as a source of fat because it’s easier to digest than fat from exclusively oil (like palm, soy, canola). Whole milk also includes natural MFGM and HMOs. It also makes the taste and smell of the formula much more natural. Would really encourage you to read all of the Kendamil reviews online!

Kendamil sent my baby to the NICU for three weeks i wouldn't recommend it. It can be hard on babies because it's coming from goat milk

We're looking for a plant based infant formula. We are considering ELSE, although, they only have a toddler formula. You have said in one of your other videos, it is okay to feed an infant, toddler formula, since the ingredients are similar. Would you recommend giving ELSE Toddler to our 2 month old?

Hi!!! I’m currently breast feeding and supplementing with Earths best. I did want a formula with no palm oil, organic, grass fed, and had lactose. Bobbie is seeming like it would be the better option to supplement with. Wondering what your review is on Earth’s Best formula?
It has palm oil in it like most formulas

What does wheezing indicate?
Could indicate an allergy
