- After almost two years since my first attempt to ride the Going to the Sun Road at Glacier NP I'm finally getting to cross off this incredible adventure off my bucket list. Even as I ride through this spectacular highway, I want to come back and do it again, SOON!!

Thanks DOC, it was such a great trip and amazing ride, hard video to edit though. I hope to get back next year on a yellow DL1050 next year and spend a couple days. This was the just the West side of the park, East side video to come where you pop out of the park but not out of the amazing beauty.

September was a great riding month. You had a beautiful day to do that ride. This is my favorite style of video, great scenery!
Thank you Tim, the trip could not have went smoother. Within 3 days of seeing the bike I was on the plane, on the bike, got my pass to ride the going to sun road. The entire ride was amazing. Thank you.

There were several springs with a pipe for fresh water in my area when I was much younger. Stopped many times to get a good cold drink. But people have built houses and stopped the flow. Progress I reckon.

I hope you get to go, you have to get a pass online to drive the road only a few bucks. You’ll be camping with the DR650 right?🤔

Been up that road many times. On one trip with my family going up just past Hay Stack falls/creek there was a big grizzly just off the side by the creek sitting there munching berries & watching the tourists drive by like we were the zoo animals. At the top by the visitor center there are almost always mountain goats standing in the road & wandering the parking lot. It’s god’s country up there. Lucky you could experience it from a bike.
I’ve never seen a grizzly bear, not sure I’d want to on a bike, I did get to see a few mountain goats up on the hill before Logan pass but they didn’t come out to well so I left them out. I love that country, I use to go to Montana quite a bit when I flew forest fires. It was great from a motorcycle with an unrestricted view. Cheers.
