Of course do a video on the golf cart. Smart idea going with a different engine. Cheaper and quicker. That's exactly what I would do.

It’s a 2 stroke. Should be easy to get running. Biggest thing on several brand old golf cart revivals.
1. Make sure compression is good per book.
2. Clean the carb (those are 30 bucks on eBay)
3. Make sure the fuel pump works
4. Forget about oil injection to start and just use mixed gas.
5. Forget trying to start on ether or brake fluid. They won’t.
6. Reed valves need to be in good shape
7. Find out what a new jug and piston cost. Usually worth the $200 aggravation considering that thing is worth a couple grand.
8. If that’s points look up how to do an HEI conversion. I can probably find my documents on that and send it over. Recently some golf cart guys figured out how to use a techumseh points conversion as well.
I’ve not worked on ez go but have par car and Yamaha. There isn’t much difference in them and the 2 strokes are great and quick when you pull the governor.

San Antonio is a Spanish word meaning "armpit." I haven't lived in Texas since '82; been through there and traveled there on business. It's only gotten worse; mainly from the Californicators moving to Texas to escape what they voted for.
Definitely want to see the golf cart. Same as yourself I love a challenge and when someone’s says it can’t be done it just makes me want to dive in deeper lol. Keep up the amazing work!!!
That engine was overheated bad .Ive worked on them before just put a diff engine in .

I wish there were more charity revivals on youtube, but I'm surprised that a charity car would be that big or 4wd. One reason I like charity cars is because I like economy cars and minimally livable vans, which I suppose this is minimally livable.
