Man I love all the theories coming out of this latest episode while I work on my own. Genuinely most excited I've been for Doctor Who maybe ever, Great video as always my friend
Notice too where the old woman first appears. In Irish folklore fairy trees are lone, sometimes weirdly shaped trees that it's considered bad luck to chop down (which is why they're often left alone in fields - farmers will harvest around them but leave them standing). They were believed to be gateways to the fairy world.
I think this episode is basically just a turn left sequel and supports the trickster being behind all of this. It was the trickster in turn left and it took donna dying to reset the timeline and this was basically the exact same
Thanks for the breakdown, Tyrell! This video helped clear up some confusing parts of the episode, so I really do appreciate it. Hope to see more like this!
You know I’ve watched so many videos on this episode, and yours was the absolute best one to make me feel… good about this episode. Your take on the old character helped me accept how it played out better! ♥️
Everyone, re-watch the Toymaker/Doctor challenge interaction, Jack and running away from something once seeing its true form, Also, Check out Carla Langer, hmm, Carla, and her episodes and 'The Curse of Clyde Langer'/'Whatever Happened To Sarah Jane?' from The Sarah Jane Adventures, lots of interesting overlaps....
A comment in another thread offered the best take I’ve yet read on the meaning of the mysterious ghost woman. Yes, the ghost woman is an older (deceased?) Ruby, but she also represents something much more terrifying. She is death, personified. Which is why she frightens away everyone who speaks to her. Her purpose for the audience is as a reminder that death stalks us all, our entire lives. Just as it does Ruby all of her life in the form of the woman. While death is rarely in the forefront of our daily human awareness, neither is it ever far away. You might say that it, metaphorically, remains 73 yards from us at all times. Which it literally does from Ruby throughout the episode. All that we can do is learn to live with our knowledge that we will one day die. That truth constantly lurks near us.
sooo... a fairy circle killed the doctor no chance of regenerating... almost like that gun he doesn't have and definitely never fired because if he did what ever it hits would be erased from time... wait a moment...
honestly i am not going to lie but i actually think this season has actually been pretty good. they dont feel nearly as standard doctor who as its been feeling for the last several years which yeah is a good thing it feels like the doctor is going in a new direction and honestly does not feel like its nearly the woke grabage the internet is making it out to be.

Best take on this episode I've seen so far.
go back to about 4mins 23. Tell me Mrs. Flood's front door doesn't look like the Tardis .

Absolutely love this 😇
Ruby is a changeling
Funny , how she got taller as she aged 😂

Yards is an American Unit of Measurement. Is there a reason Davies used the American over Metric?

Bruv it's hard to watch your viedos with your hand moving around like that. I liked and subscribe tho, more power to you
