If that third reason was actually an objective and not a lie, they're really stupid. To incentivize non-paying players you should lower the prices, not increase them.

This is a child friendly game why are they trying to apply inflation to a bunch of kids who 1. don’t have a job, 2. most likely rely on a limited source of their parents money, and 3. probably don’t even know how to spend their robux wisely or save it, it’s ridiculous.
1. “Raise the quality of items in the catalog.”
- That is not going to completely work because if you look at a children’s show or movie, it is not of high quality. Instead it is kept simple, with a decent quality and saturated colors that a child can process. Now I understand that there are a lot of teenagers and older people on Roblox too that may seem to enjoy the higher quality items, but by excluding lower quality items they are ultimately directing more attention towards the older portion of Roblox and excluding that attention from the younger kids.
2. “Reward makers and sellers of clothing.”
- This method may be able to work on a short term situation and may feel good at first to be getting rewarded higher payouts, but if kept longer as the market declines from inflation, creators will have less and less buyers due to such ridiculous prices, and for creators that like to keep their items like 5-10% more expensive than the base price of a category, they have to constantly keep going back and changing those prices if they choose to keep it like that.
3. “To incentivize non-paying users to buy Robux.”
- Oh my goodness as if 60% of Roblox users aren’t under 16, and 42% are under 13. Most of them don’t have a source of income, or they rely on their parent’s money. But they can’t just keep having to get more and more Robux to spend, which could leave their parents questioning or frustrated about what is making their kids spend so much on Roblox. Similarly to Number 2, this can make Roblox somewhat more money in the short to mid term but as this goes into the long term it’s going to be unstable and eventually result in them potentially losing money instead of making money.
They are forcing users to spend over a dollar for a copy 😢
