I appreciate Ciara doing this remix. This is her giving an insight of her own walk with God. A lot of Christians have to understand that we all have own walk and while her past discography isn't squeaky clean like chh artists, the fact that she's on this song, speaks volumes to who she is now. We all have a past and while hers is more public than others, God forgives and is capable of turning that mess into something that will be used for His Glory.

Personally didn’t see her verse as spiritual at all. Didn’t rhyme, didn’t flow. Original was better. I didn’t like it. Plus her dancing, previous songs speak volumes of her true allegiance. J/S

Embracing the entirety of an artist's catalog, even aspects that might have evolved, can contribute to a richer understanding of their creative process and the context of their work, and also their life's journey. You can see how they evolved and why. I think it may be inspirational to find out she became a Christian if you didn't know and you just started your walk with God. Just my two cents.
