      @@macallanvintage You have to make a choice to believe bro. Just recently, 3 people in my household got d covid-19 with symptoms severe enough, they can't go to work. I gotta take care of them, while fighting my own milder symptoms. I didn't get as sick as my family members. I believe that was God's protection. You can choose to dismiss that. But I choose to believe....

      “Belief” can also be self-delusion.
      Humans are selfish.
      When good things happen, they concoct stories to attribute it to “god”.
      When shit hits the fan, they concoct stories saying its a test or due to sin or the “will of Allah”.
      Self-denial due to being brainwashed.

    • @dingkoda9409
      @dingkoda9409 Před 3 lety +5

      @@macallanvintage If believers wanna be selfish, they will exalt themselves not God. Hence the word self in selfish.
      A bad situation is not coming from God. For God is good, ALL the time. Bad things happen because we live in a fallen world or because of the evils in men's hearts. God is not mad at us any more. He loved us so much He let His only Son to die for our sins. We live under grace now, since Jesus'ascension to heaven. Have faith & keep up doing your good works...
      I'm not brainwashed. I know because I have doubts from time to time. I have to make a conscious choice to stay in faith. To be optimistic not pessimistic. To be courageous instead of be afraid & quit. It's a sober battle in my mind. Brainwashed people will just follow what their bodies or emotions tell them. They will just follow the flow instead of stand strong in the faith...

    I really liked Malkovich in this movie because his character had many layers and wasn't a one dimensional villain, he could be a cunning psychopath at one point, but then you see this side where he was aggravated because a duck got killed or when he killed the woman from Minneapolis and her roommate but left her dog intact, it is implied that he has a fondness for animals but not addressed directly and that makes him so much interesting and enigmatic.

    Wow what a scene. We learn so much about mitch & it's pretty scary how right he is if someone is willing to lose their life to kill someone else. On that basis anything is possible. When he talks about how his own country trained him to do some really horrible things one can only imagine. Now that hes gone rogue & cant control him I love that line about " wr cant have monsters roaming the countryside. The govt had him do all their dirty work them cut him loose when they didnt need him anymore. They sound like the maffia sending his best friend to kill him & when he defends himself he is suddenly considered an enemy. I can only guess he started to go off script & he knew too much. He also shows his god complex with how he says he could kill him at any time but is alive only bc he allowed it. When he screams at the end its pretty scary. Makes u think who is the real threat mitch a guy that they trained to do monstrous things & manipulated to think it was for " god & country " then wanted him murdered.
    Also sad when he says " we both once thought this was a pretty special place " but now he knows better. To find out the country u love & respect has certain really evil people running things.

    Here's the reason it isn't a flaw. When the President visits a location, he will have a VERY full day. From 6AM to 9 or 10PM he will be delivering speeches to large numbers of donors, going to smaller meetings with key constituents, meeting local and state party-bosses in fancy restaurants or conference rooms, giving presentations (no press) to 30-40 powerful people. He is also traveling so much, and Leary could get him from a distance with a sniper rifle, or could disguise himself as a cop.

    I think it's those scenes that John was asked in an interview if he and Clint were really talking to each other when filming them, and he said yes, but that only one of them would be shooting at a time... So when Clint would film his sides of a conversation, he would be reading for him from his hotel room in his pyjamas... ;)
