Indeed.
Great video!
Thank you sir.
@@springerspanielful Are you still posting Springer videos? don't see any recent ones...
Not training any springers of my own at the moment.
@@springerspanielful pity, like your style...I've had 2 and will probably get another some time.
Brilliant... any advise to encourage my springer to go farther into thicker cover ? Thank you sir.
Jason Craig They either have it or they don't,if it's in them they'll not need any encouragement.
In my experience it's either in them or it isn't,the best ones will go to cover without any encouragement, although some can be trained to enter, natural cover dogs are now very scarce.
Hi George! I was wondering. I’m 14 and am receiving a cocker spaniel pup who I am wanting to train to a gun dog. He’s just under a couple of weeks old at the moment and canny really walk yet. But he’s getting there! His name is arrow and I was wanting to know what is best time that I should start training with him. And if you have any tips for training him? Plz reply it would mean so much!
Mr Theorys Congragulations on your new pup and best wishes for the future. You can begin very basic training from the very start when you first get your pup, sitting for a start and then sit stay, the main thing is not to rush things, take it nice and slow with a young pup,5 minutes twice a day for the first few weeks and then gradually increase the lessons to 10 minutes twice a day,and then when your pup is around six months you can move on to more serious training as in my videos, hope this has been of help to you and good luck with your training.
springerspanielful thanks so much for the tips George!
Hi george ... ive a 5 month old pup and he has a bad habit of jumping up on me any advise on how to stop him from doing it ?
Rolled up newspaper, tap him on the nose and say no,doesn't hurt at all but will stop him.
How old was she when this was filmed?
Approx 6 months..
