I watched you bowl on The Hype using the Optimum Idol. You and the two finger-no thumb bowler seemed to have the best reaction. Then the guy who looks like Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker. Thanks for this video, I like Buddy's channel as well, i can't wait to get this ball.

Thanks! The lanes were just so different and we didn’t practice that it was hard to judge what was needed. I just used it in a state tournament today and shot 758 and 728 so it’s definitely awesome! Let me know how it goes when you drill it.

Scott what ball do you think would give the best shot balling straighter angles to the right. Something that holds rly decent in the drier part of the lane? I know moving left is the usually the answer but I bowl my best at this time to the right and looking for something that I can stay to the right with longer into my second and third game in league. I’ll continue to practice bowling left in open bowling but can’t rly experiment in my competetive league when the teams counting on you, lol. Thanks for the videos.

What are the options? You can always go with something like an IQ Tour or Tour Dynamx if you’re looking to keep your angles shut down.

How would the idol compare to the summit?

      Summit Peak?

Good question! The Summit cleared the front part of the lane a little better due to the hybrid cover and the Idol has a tad less pop downlane with a more controllable motion.

This ball is still confusing me. I’ve been rolling with the Sublime for league, and I thought the Optimum would be stronger, but I can’t get the Optimum to hook as much as the Sublime unless I put more hand behind it. I’ll give it one more try, but the Cosmos was a stronger ball for me compared to the Optimum.

It’s stronger in a different part of the lane. The Idol is meant to be stronger earlier, so a more rounded shape. The Sublime is meant to be stronger down the lane, so more of an angular reaction.

@@ScottAndersonBowling Threw the Optimum more up the right and got it to break. Eventually had to move left, but it’s weird to have a “strong” ball work like this on a THS. Will keep at it since the Cosmos was one of my favorite balls.

@@ScottAndersonBowling Good description...Optimum Idol is a nice rounded shape...similar to Phaze II.

@@hazalmohammed keep throwing it and let it build up a track and lane shine a bit. Should help even things out.

@@AustinBoil agreed. The Idol, Summit and P2 have a lot in common.
