Hope’s Last Day *is* much shorter than Chariot of the Gods. The issue was that actually when Free League put the book together, they simply didn’t have the page count to fit Chariot in. As Effekt co-host Dave and I had already created three linked one-act adventures to run at UKGE (your co-host Chris may have that document 😉), they asked us to slim one of those down to a VERY tight wordcount (and get rid of the Union band). And so Hope’s Last Dance became Hope’s Last Day we are very proud to have our pre-gen characters’ (not actually NPCs) portraits painted and for them to appear in the card desk.
Thank you for this video, I have not been able to find anywhere what was one the back of the cards or on the "mother" side of the screen. I feel much more confident picking them up since they seem to be useful (many peripherals are not).

On their shop it looks like the only option is to get starter sets and bundles that come only with the CONDENSED book - or - get the CORE book separately. I haven't found how to get a box like this that has the CORE book, with the pieces, dice, poster, etc.
Unfortunately, the original bundle sold out on both the Modiphius and Free League webstores. Now to get the same components you would need to buy the Starter Set, Core Rulebook and GM Screen separately. The condensed rules in the Starter set are sufficient to run any Cinematic adventure.

I'm sooo confused. I'm thinking about getting this, but do you have to print out the maps and the character sheets, and is there more maps to print other then Hadley's hope?
The Maps and Markers pack includes a poster map with a charted space map on one side and the Hadley's Hope colony map on the other side. The package has a misprint stating it is for Chariot of the Gods. You will have to print the ship maps and character sheets if you run Chariot Cinematic adventure. But they are available for free as PDFs from Free League here: frialigan.se/en/games/alien/?downloads Hope that helps. Sorry if it was confusing in the video. The misprint threw me a bit.
