I love your tutorials and the accompanying music. I only have one suggestion: have a small inserted pic of your finished objective in one of the corners of your screen, just to serve as a visual reminder of the “bigger picture”. Envisioning the end result would be helpful for the novice knotter’s understanding of the overall flow of Each and every knot’s importance to the overall project….
And the beautiful stringy-mystery that macrame reveals to the observer, it being so intricate once the piece has caught the eye…is just so convolutedly-fascinating for the brain to try to 👁👁and figure out!
Fiber arts being so tactically sensational, are as paintings come to life; one can all but feel each string’s placement as this form of art was constructed.

It's all tactile/sensory haha yep. It's why I like to weave too
calm music, universal intrustions and body langue...idk I cannot fault these videos, just my opinion though
I take a screenshot of the final image/detail section up on another window, pause and check it... if I'm trying to get a bigger picture or forget my knot count (I have a toddler) it does really help
I realise it's not always normal to have a phone AND computer but it's a good way around this
@@suvisouf Totally agreed, I find the whole instructional method to be not only educational and entertaining, since we’re in a fixed visual position focused on your hands as they produce the art piece, your references to a fixed, like printed-pattern …Or…is what We the audience are watching, something that your hands are producing from your mind’s knotty pattern, just coming to life, ad lib? I like to crochet and I find that having both, a scribbled pattern for something free form, or one that’s structured around a fixed counted pattern/stitches etc. I find it all mesmerizing to watch when my old knuckles/hands are tired of doing their own thang! 😏👍🏻

So i used a 20cm ring and 2mm cord and it just doesnt fit. The leaves are bigger and the branches dont fit in the ring. There is not much space left for the trunk. Your ring must be bigger than 20cm or your cord ist 1mm oder 1,5mm maybe. The measurements are just somehow not right.

@@shenze11 i made only 4 branches instead of 5 and the Trunk looks a bit different. And there was no cord left for loose long hanging part under the ring.
I see, did you follow the measurements recommended? I found some 2mm cord. I haven't started yet. What ring would you recommend, and at one lengths would you cut the cord?

I have a 30cm ring and 3mm cord and it does not fit either, the cord is too short and the leaves are too big. I guess she used a 30cm ring and 2 mm cord. Anyway, looks great in a different way, so it is absolutely worth it to make it ❤️

Olá. Lindo trabalho. Diferente de tufo que já vi. Porém, estou com dificuldades de imaginar o cumprimento e espessura dos fios. A quantidade é fácil calcular, desde que se assiste todo o desenvolver do trabalho, pois, além dos afixados no bastidor, no início da trama, há os que são adicionados durante o desenvolver delas. Sou iniciante.Estou pensando em arriscar comprar o fio. Espero ter a intuição certa da espessura dele para que fique proporcional ao tamanho do bastidor. É uma pena não se ter a informação dos materiais de um trabalho tão lindo. Pra quem é iniciante, é lastimável.

I love this macrame design, but since there aren’t any clear instructions, I am struggling with the amount of knots for some of it (mostly the trunk of the tree(s). Either the design is shown when it’s completed, or the video is sped up…

This is looking lovely but all the lengths are far too short and it's not easy to add more part way through. The middle ones especially are much too short and i had to pull a lot back. Although I've done the roots as shown I can't work out how to keep them in place when you lift it up. I'm going to try stitching them in places.

I can’t find 2 mm single twist cotton cord. All the 2 mm cord I found is triple twist. Will that be too thick? I would love to make this.
You can always use 5mm triple twist and separate the rope, but it's easy enough to find online. I usually separate my own.
