Thank you for posting the interview. It's always great watching Emma play and hearing from her afterwards - a really positive interview and a very gracious, humble, positive response from Emma.
Think it's all very well *saying* the slams are wide open but Novak Djokovic won 3/4 and was within a couple of points of the fourth last year. Going to take a lot to break that streak.
@@JamesGraySport I don't think Djokovic will have as good a season as 2023 this year. The Nadal factor will change the whole season, and many young players are playing better and have more experience now. Novak might end up winning only 1 GS, with another going for Nadal, 1 for Alcaraz, and perhaps Sinner winning his first. If Novak does not win in Australia, I think he may have no GS in 2024.
Congratulations on the win Emma! It was a great first step. Best wishes on your next match. I am a fan who believes in you. It was nice to see you succeed.
Shame we cant watch the match during uk waking hours. With no proper highlights, we will not be able to watch and observe Emma’s recovery progress, i am so disappointed with the WTA not putting pressure on Sky’s Ceo for Wta tennis improving such poor SKY presentation and accessibility to matches , as poor as BBC Wimbledon cover!
It will be interesting to watch her play someone who actually is a good as Emma thinks she is. Until she earns a solid series of wins, she remains the Meghan Markle of Tennis.
Emma knows that it will take time to build up towards bigger goals; she is tentatively returning from multiple surgeries and she is under no illusions that she is the underdog in her next match as things stands. There wasn't a hint of arrogance or false belief in her press conferences. Anyone who has watched her 10 glorious victories at the US Open 2021 (not just watched highlights or read social media articles) can be left in no doubt about her outstanding ability and potential. She is already a grand slam champion and has the ability to be back at the top of the game.
Lovely Emma is back. I wish her all the best of luck for 2024.

So good to see you back Emma! 👍👍
Nice Win Emma!!! Rooting for you..
2024 already feels like the best year in tennis for a while. Emma, Rafa, and Naomi are back, Slams are wide open, up for grabs. Very exciting.
And the moms as well.
Well said. It will be an awesome season.

Most likely will win all 4, but will be interesting to see how Nadal does in the French, his way best chance.@@RSimoes10

Nice interview 👍❤
EMMA is so humble, giving kudos to her rival and praise to her upcoming opponent !!
every tennis player does that, havent you ntocied? XD
I think it is nice that, mostly, players are positive and supportive of each other and Emma is an example of that.
@@remek5758 You mean like Danielle Collins telling Maria Sakkari to "shut her mouth" during a match, didn't you notice SMH
Emma so beautiful
I still pray for you, your future, your focus, just you.
How anyone can dislike such a positive, humble and gracious young woman is beyond me.
Thank you
❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥💙💙💙
She is only 21 years old.
@saksit247
