What is the BEST survival game? 🪓
DayZ for sure
As a profesinal gamer and grub i confrm that rust is toxic
Project zomboid.
Infinite outcomes for different situations, ruthless difficulty, pretty fun playing with friends/pretty badass when playing solo.
One of the best survivals out there for sure
Best - DayZ
Hardest - Deus by Silmarils 1996
I'm an enjoyer of the first forest, not played sons yet, but at the minute I haven't been able to put dayZ down for the past 5 months or so.
Can't stand vanilla ark though. Ridiculous timesink
Calling rust toxic is an understatement
Oh I appreciate that
ark might be more but dayz is definitely more toxic
It's lethal
@@haydenmctiernan4036ur trolling right?
@@zickseealt no dayz is a different kind of toxic rust just feels like people are just doing it to be a-holes (same with ark) but dayz toxicity feels so much more personal
"Rust is a toxic-"
Me: Likes the video
Glad I wasn't the only one 😂
Only toxic it is something more than a toxic game
@@telewizortv4716it's venomous
Sooooooo freaking toxic 😢
Literally me
I would love a Project Zomboid series / stream on this channel.
Yes
YES pls.
Ngl without mods it is fun to so it would be great
@@Dumbum204slava monolita
@@HundredManSlayer- 👍
I just feel like DayZ will forever hold the crown for a true gritty survival game, you’ll have experiences and encounters you just can’t make up or find anywhere else
Only game I’ve played so far where it’s hard to pull the trigger sometimes
@@lyndonb.johnson9340and when you do you have the most unimaginable guilt possible
The dark forest experiment really starts to feel real in DayZ
@@LatchedJoker115
To explain it in short to those who dont know
Dark forest experiment is shooting an unkown personm not because theyre a threat. But because you dont know if theyll betray you
@@LatchedJoker115absolutely
I physically jumped out my seat when I saw project Zomboid get noticed.
i feel sad cuz unturned didnt showed up
did you know about the game from the milf NURSE ? or is it just me
@@Joseph-ki6wji found out about the game on rule 34 💀
@@SELAMAQ123it ain't that realistic not good graphics so it shouldn't be here
@@Dumbum204 Rust and Ark look like garbage and are still there, graphics don't matter that much
Valheim is a goated game I’d recommend
Shame it's not on console (yet hopefully) an old coworker told me about it, and I want it sooooo bad. That and Zomboid
@@ViolentKinksit is on console I have it for Xbox it’s not bad port from pc
Rust best
@@XToPGaMeR96 we get it you like rust.
@@lonewanderer8743 I am playing rust rn
Nice, youtube gave me a 1min old short from my fav dayz short maker. Im happie!
7 days to die deserves a mention!
Lots of replay value.
agreed, Alpha 21 update has been great so far IMO.
@@GamerBeastHDif you haven’t tried it yet I’d highly suggest trying the darkness falls mod for 7 days to die out
Agreed.
It's done amazingly for its age.
Old AF 😂
Another good survival game is Green Hell.
Stuck in the amazon, you have to keep an eye on your water, protein, fats and carbohydrate levels. You have to deal with hostile natives, pumas/jaguars, snakes, spiders, scorpions, and centipedes.
You also have to deal with many different injuries. Venom, rashes, food poisoning, scrates/aberrations, lacerations, wound infections, worms, leeches and more.
You'll love rust until you repeatedly get offlined by a Chinese clan led by "你死定了"
A very honourable mention is Unturned. While oversimplified style may draw some players away, the game is awesome to play both alone and with friends. It's like a mix between Rust, Project Zomboid and Garry's Mod. And what's the best part about it? It's totally free!
Unturned is amazing, it’s also extremely moddable
i felt sad when unturned didnt showed up
Fucking love unturned only the PC version though
@@XToPGaMeR96 Congrats! Then go play Rust.
@@RevilDoesStuff Lol I am always playing it
Rule 1: trust no other rust players, not even your friends.
DayZ would have huge potential if it had single player story mode for the players that don't want the stressing pvp and just wanna enjoy the game mechanics alone
You can just play on an empty server. Even create your own and play on that however you like. I've played just hunting and fishing and walking in the woods with my graphics turned up with a buddy before.
@@Jamespetersenwa Yeah ik but once u get gear there's nothing to do, I'm thinking something like the game 7dtd where you have to build your base and fight off hordes, or just add a full set of story missions that lead to a ending
Then it wouldn't be DayZ. DayZ is intended to be a "sandbox" game. Story driven would be a "play by rails" game.
If you just want to avoid pvp, there numerous pve servers. If fact, there are servers to fit pretty much ever niche, including some that have missions.
The fact that he nailed that Rust description so well tells me that he definitely nailed the other ones.
Green Hell and Stranded Deep are also some great survival games that I highly recommend, both games can be played in Online Coop and green hell has an engaging story mode and DLC expansion, there is also a sandbox mode where you can play in the open world without the main games story. Stranded deep offers a nice challenging gameplay loop of looting uslands for supplies, eventualy you can find a aircraft carrier with a plane that you can fix to "beat the game". Both games are solid for a coop survival game and i highly recommend checking both games out.
Its not really exactly a survival game but give zombi and zombiu the love it deserves, its a story/survival game set in london, Ubisoft forgot and abandoned it, the only possible way to maybe get a sequel is to bring attention to it.
Hi brrrrrt bro
I can testify to the brutality of Zomboid. I mean, after creating your character, the game outright tells you that survival is hopeless and you're playing the story of how your character inevitably died
You just try to do stuff while you're alive
Actualy about Sons of the forest is a sequel to the forest. The forest Cost about 15 Euro and is a very good game too. Check it out!
Yeah Sons of the forest is truly underrated
Still waiting not here yet on ps5 pc gets everything
@@aaronhenderson9517 because pc is kinda better ngl
fun fact: SCUM was made and takes place in croatia, which is proven by place names
If you like Ark you should try their newer game Atlas. It's like if Ark and sea of thieves were mixed, it's developing but able to play.
Grounded, stranded deep, minecraft have left the chat
These aren’t the best survival games, just some options!
@@FreshSpawnsminecraft
Stranded deep was amazing, until they stopped caring abt it. You can get softlocked, it’s not open world and it’s way too easy to beat
@@Suleyman_12210for me its more of a sandbox game with a pinch of survival
Minecraft didn't leave it just went AFK😂
Hello just to inform you abouz an potential buyer. Ark is not only stopping offi server but devlopend in general. A rework version will be out end of the year ( if not delayed). For Ark 2 is pushed back to end of next year. So if you buy the version now but you wanna have updates etc you have to buy it again soon.
For me, 7 Days to Die is by far the best survival game. You have basebuilding, crafting, roleplaying, tons of loot, weapons, zombies, traps, zombies, mining, you can create your own maps, etc
Icarus is fantastic! I also highly recommend Valheim & Grounded they should've been on the list! Especially over scum and deadside (imo)😅
I would love to see you make a video were you play raft together
Yeah that would be really nice
Finally, someone who respects ark as a good survival game
I’m so glad they included SCUM, it doesn’t get enough credit honestly
I wanna see you guys play project zomboid
They have done a videos
Dayz is amazing id recommend it
It basically spawned the survival genre too.
Proud to say that after having Dayz for 2 weeks I convinced an online friend to get it as well. I recommend him your channel and that’s where we both are learning about the game. Even though we haven’t been able to find each other in game yet simply getting in a party and finding each other has been awesome. Thanks for the help!
Funny how i got every Single one of these in my library and still watching this short, hoping there is a better survival game out there
Cool to see Icarus mentioned. 👍🏻
Valhiem is a beautiful Viking themed survival and building game. Boss fights, base raids. Up to 10 players a server. Build longships, outposts, giant Viking settlements if you want. explore the world. One of my favorite games of all time.
Thanks for all the recommendations
DON'T get Ark. It will suck your life away. Ark is rotten to the core, the community is toxic, the developers are unreliable, and the publishers have been known to cheat on the servers and there are rumors from goof sources that they also engage in illegal activity. Again, DON'T get Ark: survival evolved.
From: an Ark player.
"7 days to die" is also great on PC, on
Console is ok but they stopped the updates 😭
7 days to die is my all time favorite survival game
Scum is something else, was in middle of a heated fight and my character just squats and proceeds to shit. 10/10
Dump in the middle of a fight
When youve played a good amount of dayz theres things you experience and situations you wouldn’t have in any other game i know of
I slept on Project Zomboid for the longest time. I never expected this isometric game could actually make me jump.
DayZ, Sunkenland, The Front, Greenhell, Mist Survival. That's my Top Survival Games.
State of Decay 2 is also worth a massive shout and is one of the best Zombie games just, period. State of Decay 1 was a classic but 2 just brings the series into a nice little bow. Got back into it and i just cant put it down!
No project zomboid beat every zombies survival game far away
A duo, Zomboid play through would be fun to watch. You couldn't get up to your funny shenanigans with other "survivors", but the stars of the show are you two, so nothing or nobody else needed.
It's nice to see Ark Survival Evolved on this man's channel
I’ve been playing SCUM for years, I love the game. The community is great, the visuals are stellar, the Devs are very vocal and transparent with what they’re doing. Highly, highly reccomend the game. Especially with friends.
And just as a bonus, if you ever get too stressed with the game or need a break. There’s an event mode for the game where it gives you end game equipment and armor to mess around with and blow holes in your friends over a cacophony of laughter and flash bangs
I will love if you make Project Zomboid shorts, such a amazing game
ive just bought project zomboid and im starting to learn EVERYTHING, like i know how to kill small hordes with a bat, i know how to cook, i know that guns are useless
SunkenLand should definitely be on this list
If you like walking around for two hours searching houses and only finding spoons, just to be shot by a guy with a machine gun then dayz is for you.
The long dark will forever be my favourite survival game
With Rust, emphasis on the “Toxic” part. That game is a bully simulator first, and survival game next.
Rust is fun on highly modded servers, maybe you'll like a 2x server, or 4x. Booth of those are still casual, servers that have minigames and battleground type stuff can also be fun. But if you want the real rust experience then go on an official vanilla server and you'll be treated with lethal toxicity, from roof campers, offline raids, cheaters being a normal occurrence, and doorcampers plus a lot more
you can't forget about the og who everyone have played aka 7 days to die.
you gotta put green hell on there! one of my favorites! gotta give it a try 😊
already playing half of these, a spot on list
What about escape from tarbob? Where a cheater kills you from spawn or a rat gets you while extracting? Or that scav that trained with the navy seals shoots you head eyes from 600 meters? FUN❤❤❤
rust described as a game "youll love to hate" is the best description i have ever heard
Sons of the Forest is the best from this list, without crap that will raid you every fucking day and with a good atmosphere and a FUCKING SO GOOD soundtrack
Using toxic as the first descriptir for Rust was spot-on. I've learned that the only PvP I enjoy in games is PvP with toxic people. I don't win often, but whether it's Rust, Souls games, or EVE Online, on the rare occasion I do win, it's the most rewarding feeling you can have in gaming.
Don't forget The long dark
I want icarus so bad its such a beautiful game
Project Zomboid: you will die in 10.
Me: What?
PZ: 9
Me:…
a hidden gem of a game that i dont see anyone else mention is called Catacalysm: Dark Days Ahead. it's just a less graphically intense version of zomboid, however FAR more complicated gameplay wise. I think the reason people dont mention it is because of how brutal it is to learn, but if you get the hang of it, it becomes fun. there's endless content, it feels so packed with stuff it feels modded! I actually think zomboid was based off of cdda! please at least give it a look!
"The Front"
is a twist on ARK,Rust.and 7 Days to Die
I would love to see some Sons of the forest videos on this channel
Great watching a full stream again yesterday, boys 🧡🧡🧡
Seems I got sniped by Heather too 😅 👆
Great list
If we went back several years we would still use the same list of games
Play Ark if you like being raided and banned by devs repaying for dlcs and over all getting scammed
playing dayz is like smashing your head against a wall , it hurts but it sometimes stratches your itch nicely
I can't relate
"that you will love to hate" the most accurate description I have ever heard
If there is one thing I have learned is that Project Zomboid shows no mercy when it comes to surviving
Great list! Try Green Hell
unturned is good for like beginners id say. like the people who dont want to get hardcore with survival games yet still wanna have fun
Vigor is a really good game too. Made by Bohemia Interactive (same devs as DayZ) and it's a f2p looter shooter and 2 multiplayer modes, And It's on pretty much any modern gaming device
Thank god someone recognizes project zomboid and it’s awsomenes
The rust description reminds me of honest game trailers describing dark souls 😂
Icarus and Deadside seems interesting
Deadside still got unlimited stamina? That's what put me off that game!
God I've love a VR open world survival game with beautiful graphics. An easy learning guide at the start to help you know how to craft basic things and how to reload guns; and then maybe even a tab in the game to show you the things you can craft but only if you have crafted them before. Though the main focus is the same feel of Dayz but in VR, if you get hurt you bandage your arm by sitting down, if you get sick you'll have to puke, looking down will trigger the puking holding it in will only make more puke come out, so u gotta find meds to cure your sickness. I'd love the realistic guns from Dayz like having to reload mags on the go with a backpack system with slots. Or the type of backpack from Ghosts of tabor or Saints & Sinners.
kenshi is debatably survival, more of a sandbox than anything especially with its workshop support
Dude dayZ is a running sim
Deadside looks like it should be amazing with work
The long dark is also really good
Yeah he was definitely had beef with rust.
But honestly, who doesn’t?
If new to Ark, either play solo or pve if going to official.
Official pvp is not worth learning the game on, you’ll likely end up getting bullied by the alpha tribes and not be allowed to advance beyond a certain state.
Play solo or official pve for a while (up to like metal structures or something), and if you start feeling a competitive itch, then go ahead at that point.
You could also play on a private server that has increased rates, but I wouldn’t recommend learning the game there simply because of how easy it is.
I would enjoy an Ark series on the channel… personally I really love ark and have played it for years… I recommend it!
ARK is literally over 100 GB, just wait until Ark 2
Thank you for including ark in this short.
best description for Rust
FreshSpawns: We are going to show 8 survival games.
Also FreshSpawns: *shows 9 games*
I'd watch some Raft videos from fresh spawns ngl
Good list 👌
scum is probably the most immersive for surival.
That rust description was spot on lol
Dayz is probably the best survival game for meeting people Rust is a close second
Ark ascended is out soon, can't wait 🤩
No love for Valheim?
It was actually Valheim that finally got me to dust off my copy of DayZ that had been sitting in my library for years untouched. :)
I like how he felt the need to only say toxic on rust
