He met this girl called shwetha mohan in a musical concert who introduced herself as just "swetha" and not "mohan" and did not either mention her mother's name who is a great singer.
This proves how down to earth she is. How simple she is. How much she wanted to prove herself and be identified as Shwetha and not just as a daughter of a great singer Sujatha mohan garu...

All the Tamil songs have their own taste, sense, meaning & feeling etc. I have used to convert those meaning in Sinhala but unfortunately couldn’t get same feeling,taste etc. That’s the beauty and its own decoration of the language.

I bumped into this song a few days back. I am a north Indian who doesn't understand an iota of Tamil, but I have been listening to Rehman since his time of Pudhiya Mugham, Roja, etc through my graduate school friends in Arizona in 1992. I got introduced to Shweta's voice through those songs and what a delight to hear this one - The melody on this reminds me of RD Burman and Asha - This could have been sung by Asha and I would not know the difference.
Shweta - god bless you - keep soothing hearts and keep marshaling the transcendence of music in reaching out to people who love your music even if they don't understand the words

these regular looking people, everyday men and a lady - created this magic. When you listen and watch this you actually get in the same groove as them. The way they are enjoying the music, especially the lady, is mind blowing. At this moment of time they are in a complete state of bliss. And they know it. For these 5 odd minutes, the world becomes a better place for those who are experiencing this masterpiece.
