I am really interested in the Inca in real life. However I can’t stand playing the civ in aoe3. It’s so poorly designed in so many ways and has bucket loads of really silly features. So no, I don’t think it gets a bad rap. The dislike towards it is well deserved.

At 12:54, the rods have a ton of melee resist, but not much hp, so the inca army with nearly 100% ranged damage cleans them up well
