I love the classic DPS/healer/tank/support comp, which technically has double sustain. Despite having Loucha, Gallegar, and Gepard, that’s two healers and one tank. He’d be my second tank. A hot take I suppose, but it’s what I know, love, and do best.
I have a bad habit of falling for fomo. This video is honestly what i need to hear to help me feel so much better about skipping him for robin and a future fuxuan rerun.

I'd rather build my Yanqing and Misha who I actually like. It's more fun for me and I like their synergy with Yanqing at E1. Plus Misha hits like a truck and in SimU he goes crazy with Rememberance.

you should make a guide on how to clear moc faster, im a day 3 player and ive invested a lot in relics and i think my builds are decent but somehow i just cant clear it fast bruh (still 3 star it tho since jingliu banner), is it maybe because my supports are lacking? idk but ill like to see a video on your tips and strats and stuff!! tyy
i am also someone who vertically invests into my account, but despite being a day one player i still do not have two solo sustains! i skipped fu xuan and luocha as their characters didn't interest me. i'm excited for aventurine to complete my account :)
I did some of his pre-farm already,so I'm more inclined to pull because of the commitment I already made,but I am okay with re-planning and pulling for Acheron's signature and saving for Topaz(I'm sure she'll have a rerun next patch),since Topaz seems more essential for Dr.Ratio teams than Aventurine

So, I actually just looked at Robin's leaked kit vs Ruan Mei and it's already obvious you guys are right. Even with a FUA team, Robin still seems to fall behind. Plus, Ruan Mei looks to work well in just about any team.
I'm leaning towards Fu Xuan rather than Aventurine for my account, his kit is great but i don't like the character, also i use Blade a lot and there's anti-sinergy with Aventurine (also with Fu but less so).
I get the logic perfectly. I'm doing the complete opposite but with the same rationale: I skipped Acheron / Jingliu to get Aventurine because I feel my current roster already meets DPS check in this game and don't need stronger DPS, while I liked how Aventurine's kit worked with Ratio & Topaz when I used trial version in his story quest as well as liking him as a character. The game's so much more fun once you start pulling / playing characters you like, rather than the ones you _feel you need_
depending on SPD and stats players can take longer to clear MoC which can lead to them taking more damage and needing 1 extra sustain sometimes. My relics are OK but despite farming since the beggining I still need better relics I needed Fire MC + luchoa to clear the previous MoC 12 (edit: cause I dont like resetting) if you can run a hyper team that can do a lot of damage and clear in 1-2 cycles then a sustain is not needed in MoC

not nutty but id probably go for s1 just to save the 50/50 for robin. or if you have guaranteed make it easier to get her, i think lcs are always good investments for your dps units although thats just my opinion ^^;
You should definitely have some Sustain Units yes. I don't know what kind of crazy investment this dude put into his Relics but I'm playing since Release and i have literally all Sustainers except for Aventurine but i can definitely not 0 cycle anything. Never have and never will ... I barely get 3 stars so a Sustain is more than necessary to survive. That's what they are for after all 😁
Im not anywhere near 0 cycle, but Im in the same boat in a sense that i fully built Gepard and never had any issue with his shielding in MoC, I would rather pull for Fu Xuan or a future 5 star healer cos I dont have anyone doing what they do on my account.

You are not pulling for Aventurine because you plan ahead based on leaks and know that survivability is not required if you can just kill the enemies fast enough or break them and a lot of that will be happening in 2.3 and 2.4
I personally will roll for him, since I am close to pity, kinda vibe with him and he will be great for my Ratio, though if I lose the 50/50 I'll wait to see who comes next patch.

I think you are doing something wrong. I have e0s0 Luocha and e0s1 Gepard (lvl 70) and they have easily sustained moc 12 for me. Even 5-12 gold and gears as solo sustains

Agree with you, Nutty. I couldn't care less about Aventurine, especially his design/personality. And at an account level, I have every other sustain in the game and they're all built. Needless to say, I already clear every MoC/PF. People who think Aventurine will be the best sustain for Acheron clearly don't know about Jiaoqiu.

@@narvack lol it kinda does. Some ppl think he’s gonna do tons on healing while others think he’s not gonna heal much. His kit isn’t set in stone at the moment, so it’s something to think about.

I feel like Aventurine is the Zhongli of hsr. So missing out on such a character could be a huge drawback. Even tho i need a dps i consider pulling aventurine over Jingliu
I always run sustains because my relics are trash even though I farm them for an entire year. Only my DHIL has good relics, every other character is wearing substandard relics, I just have that kind of luck. People say if you farm long enough for the relics you will get what you need, but they're wrong. I've farmed for Acheron relics every single day since the set went into the game and I have 1 ok piece and 3 trash pieces. In Genshin I've farmed for Xiao gear for literally two years, and his set is still half assed. I just have that kind of luck and there is literally nothing I can do about it.
Was initially gonna skip him to get Fu Xuan, but after the story and the fact that I have no limited sustains whatsoever, I skipped Acheron to get him when he drops. The rest of my leftover jades after Aventurine will be saved for Sam
Originally wanted to do MoC after pulling him. Just did it without him. By god would it have been much easier if my Gepard didn't suffer from lack of energy. The extra aggro is absolute dogshit, Aventurine being able to give shield from skill is much much better for me.
Even though I've got ALL sustains right now (yes Abundance and Preservation) I'm still gonna try to get Aventurine. I just like mixing teams, so Horizontally investing. I still also really love my Clara since she's my first 5-star and Aven is basically the best sustain for FUA.
I pulled him and LC in 100 pulls and he's insane. Literally a full extra HP bar after reapplying shield on the first turn. Dude is straight up broken in SU too. I agree with everything about his character, but he is very useful if you don't have a limited sustain. If I had FX and HH I would probably have skipped, so fair play to those who did. But he is absolutely an S+ tier sustain.
On my 1st account I will skip him bevause I already have other sustain i.e gepard, huohuo, fu xuan. Om my 2nd account, I will skip him because I will be saving for Acheron rerun.
It's not that I don't want to pull for him, it's that I can't because the 2 Nihility mommies patch after patch left me broke (but life is good because mommies)
I'm not pulling for him simply because I don't like him. I didn't like him before 2.1, and I still don't like him after 2.1 story, even though they tried their hardest by giving him so much screen time. I ended up just annoyed that they razor focused on him instead of fleshing out some other characters some more instead.
If you got the capital to pull and want to pull go right ahead. I won't be pulling either because he's only marginally better. I dedicated most of my wishes to Sparkles, Acheron plus light cone. There will always be better sustainers in the future, this one is not a must have especially if you been playing for many months now.
I have Luocha, Fu Xuan, Gepard AND HUO HUO. But i am pulling for him because he's blonde, hot and into tall blue haired boys. I wanted to play wisely on these games, but i can't resist his pretty alien eyes 😢
My number one reason for skipping him is going all in for Acheron and her LC and now I don't have time to play and recuperate my resources. Still a good video though!

I don't need Aventurine, I have Luocha, Gepard, and Bailu built. I don't like him, I don't like the animations. I will pull 10-20 times to see if I get lucky, like I always do.
I want to address something which I haven't seen any CC addressed though, which is the actual maths of the cumulative damage Aventurine adds to the team through his debuffs AND his own provided damage. I haven't bothered to do the maths myself, but I'm pretty certain the damage he adds to the team with his debuffs and what he can do himself is roughly equal to that of a harmony or nihility support. I think people really forget that the reason he does more damage is to compensate bringing him to the team over another support, not that he will a) add more utility than a support or b) do equal damage of a damage dealer.
It’s not enough it’s better just to bring a 2nd harmony character with there light cone I mean he’s prob better then the lower tiered debuffers and buffers but he’s no where near pela or anyone bronya + you’d have to hyper carry him to hit 100k and there so much rng in his kit he will never be a reliable 0 cycle char he’s mainly for simulated universe for veterans or people new to the game and before I get bombared by people who can’t read he’s prob a s+ sustain but imo that still isn’t very good for accounts that already have 2 sustains and can 0 cycle with no sustains
@@narvack When he crits upward to 100k on his ult and can do consistent 30k FUA damage which can be triggered several times in a quick succession within the same cycle, I would have to disagree. And that's just considering his own damage while completely disregarding the damage he enables the rest of his team to deal with his LC and ult debuff. You don't need to hypercarry buff him to do that damage either. Having another harmony or nihility member on the team is enough.
It's a pretty easy choice to me because even though his kit looks good, I just dislike his personality and character in game. The whole gambling thing gets annoying to me. So I'll be saving for Fu Xuan and eventually HuoHuo
At some point your virtually done with the game and your just pulling out of fun and seeing how different team comps work. I could say I’m done with all game content and I will pull just for fun cause why would I clear stuff with the same team for 4 month straight

I think you are doing something wrong. I have e0s0 Luocha and e0s1 Gepard (lvl 70) and they have easily sustained moc 12 for me. Even 5-12 gold and gears as solo sustains

Agree with you, Nutty. I couldn't care less about Aventurine, especially his design/personality. And at an account level, I have every other sustain in the game and they're all built. Needless to say, I already clear every MoC/PF. People who think Aventurine will be the best sustain for Acheron clearly don't know about Jiaoqiu.

@@narvack lol it kinda does. Some ppl think he’s gonna do tons on healing while others think he’s not gonna heal much. His kit isn’t set in stone at the moment, so it’s something to think about.
@@narvack and the only time I guess u could run endgame without a sustain is maybe moc, but ppl who do that also most likely go for 0 cycles, which is kinda pointless in my opinion. Swarm, gng, some other simulated worlds, pure fiction to a certain extent want some type of sustain.
We don't know if Jiaqou amount of healimg can solo sustain tho. Who knows if it's only minor heal. Jiaqou is Nihility path and not Abundance afterall.
I'll be honest, the main reason I'm pulling aventurine is that he can use my extremely good crit peices with def mainstats. I have so many crit substats that my def% body is effecient.

I feel like Aventurine is the Zhongli of hsr. So missing out on such a character could be a huge drawback. Even tho i need a dps i consider pulling aventurine over Jingliu

I always run sustains because my relics are trash even though I farm them for an entire year. Only my DHIL has good relics, every other character is wearing substandard relics, I just have that kind of luck. People say if you farm long enough for the relics you will get what you need, but they're wrong. I've farmed for Acheron relics every single day since the set went into the game and I have 1 ok piece and 3 trash pieces. In Genshin I've farmed for Xiao gear for literally two years, and his set is still half assed. I just have that kind of luck and there is literally nothing I can do about it.

It's kinda funny how he's basically saying "get good" like understand your relics, your characters, their strengths, who they pair with.
Originally wanted to do MoC after pulling him. Just did it without him. By god would it have been much easier if my Gepard didn't suffer from lack of energy. The extra aggro is absolute dogshit, Aventurine being able to give shield from skill is much much better for me.
Even though I've got ALL sustains right now (yes Abundance and Preservation) I'm still gonna try to get Aventurine.
I just like mixing teams, so Horizontally investing. I still also really love my Clara since she's my first 5-star and Aven is basically the best sustain for FUA.
I pulled him and LC in 100 pulls and he's insane. Literally a full extra HP bar after reapplying shield on the first turn. Dude is straight up broken in SU too. I agree with everything about his character, but he is very useful if you don't have a limited sustain. If I had FX and HH I would probably have skipped, so fair play to those who did. But he is absolutely an S+ tier sustain.

I'm not pulling for him simply because I don't like him. I didn't like him before 2.1, and I still don't like him after 2.1 story, even though they tried their hardest by giving him so much screen time. I ended up just annoyed that they razor focused on him instead of fleshing out some other characters some more instead.

If you got the capital to pull and want to pull go right ahead. I won't be pulling either because he's only marginally better. I dedicated most of my wishes to Sparkles, Acheron plus light cone. There will always be better sustainers in the future, this one is not a must have especially if you been playing for many months now.

A DPS is way more valuable. You don't even need a sustain to clear MOC

Do you even clear content? Some DPS are monsters in MoC but absolutely suck in PF as well.

I want to address something which I haven't seen any CC addressed though, which is the actual maths of the cumulative damage Aventurine adds to the team through his debuffs AND his own provided damage. I haven't bothered to do the maths myself, but I'm pretty certain the damage he adds to the team with his debuffs and what he can do himself is roughly equal to that of a harmony or nihility support. I think people really forget that the reason he does more damage is to compensate bringing him to the team over another support, not that he will a) add more utility than a support or b) do equal damage of a damage dealer.
It’s not enough it’s better just to bring a 2nd harmony character with there light cone I mean he’s prob better then the lower tiered debuffers and buffers but he’s no where near pela or anyone bronya + you’d have to hyper carry him to hit 100k and there so much rng in his kit he will never be a reliable 0 cycle char he’s mainly for simulated universe for veterans or people new to the game and before I get bombared by people who can’t read he’s prob a s+ sustain but imo that still isn’t very good for accounts that already have 2 sustains and can 0 cycle with no sustains
@@narvack When he crits upward to 100k on his ult and can do consistent 30k FUA damage which can be triggered several times in a quick succession within the same cycle, I would have to disagree. And that's just considering his own damage while completely disregarding the damage he enables the rest of his team to deal with his LC and ult debuff.
You don't need to hypercarry buff him to do that damage either. Having another harmony or nihility member on the team is enough.

Aventurine looks great. Personality is fine. His animations are boring and weird. So I'm skipping. What my account may need is rarely a factor.
It's a pretty easy choice to me because even though his kit looks good, I just dislike his personality and character in game. The whole gambling thing gets annoying to me. So I'll be saving for Fu Xuan and eventually HuoHuo
At some point your virtually done with the game and your just pulling out of fun and seeing how different team comps work. I could say I’m done with all game content and I will pull just for fun cause why would I clear stuff with the same team for 4 month straight
