Finally some one telling the truth,ive ask pastors that question for years and all i got was oh it doesnt matter as long as you worship the Lord. There is no church in my area following God's law so i read the bible and pray starting sundown friday till sundown saturday and i feel more of God's presents than ever,so thank you for following God's laws.
Do not be deceived by this false doctrine this man is not telling you the truth after Jesus died on the cross The veil in the Temple in Jerusalem was rent into from top to bottom that means that we are no longer under the Mosaic law the Sabbath is one of the ten commandments but it was changed from being a physical commandment to a spiritual commandment now the Sabbath is in Jesus because of the power of his resurrection you do not have to try to keep the Sabbath holy with your own power because the Sabbath is in Jesus just as the veil is in Jesus Christ.
What the law could not do that it was weak through the flesh God sent his only begotten son that we might have a right to the tree of life.
The old Sabbath is of the Law the law was weak the new Sabbath is in Jesus Christ which is the Holy Ghost the law was just a school master until the seed should come to whom the promise was made now we are under a New and living way

Same all churches in my area are rapture based churches and say we don't have to keep the Sabbath Jesus Christ paid the debt for all that so I know where your coming from

When I was in my 20's I worked in the medical field. I did my best to get others to work on Friday nights so I could have it off. There were times when I couldn't find anyone to trade with me so when I did have to work on Friday nights, I always donated that nights pay to the church. I never kept it. It was like helping others, without pay. I felt that was what Jesus would want from me since I had to go into the Hospital on the Sabbath. I felt blessed to help other, for free on the Sabbath. Thank you for this video hope it does help some to honor God's Holy Day.

Jesus actually said that you can do good on the Sabbath, you see He wanted to heal a man and the Pharisees were not ok with that because it was on a Sabbath and Jesus explained to them that you are allowed to do good to other people on the Sabbath.

I thought only Jews were told to celebrate the Sabbath..then today, I was reading Isaiah 56 and my eyes got HUGE as I read it. It clearly promises blessing to "Strangers who serve him" I honestly had no idea!!! Well, from now on I will definitely be obedient and Honor the Sabbath!! That's why I'm here...lol

▸ The sabbath was a memorial of God’s deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage. “You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to observe the sabbath day” (Deuteronomy 5:15). It was the fourth of their Ten Commandments. It was also a sign to Israel of God’s covenant with them (Exodus 31:12-17). No Bible passage indicates that non-Israelites (Gentiles) were ever commanded to keep the sabbath!

Amen!!! Today is my first Saturday In celebration to the sabbath! I have committed to serving The Lord. & while reading my Bible, I allow the Lord to explain to me how to follow him! When he explained this to me. I said ok God, I’m dropping work on this day. This say I made plenty of money at work. But my God is even the creature of money. So this is why keeping the Sabbath was changed from a literal commandment to a spiritual commandment which is much better
So now we can do like Jesus did whe he was on Earth he healed on the Sabbath day and he walked through the corn field and ate corn on the Sabbath day he did this for our example for today

@@aanight Correct Jesus is our Sabbath it became Spiritual when he died on the cross it is not of our own works it is a gift.
Before his death it was still according to the Mosaic law 🙏 Amen

I used to work on Saturdays until God showed me his 4th commandment to rest. Now I rest with him ❤. Hebrews 4:6-7

Visit with the sick and pray with them. Visit homes of the elderly and indisposed. Feed the hungry. Comfort the bereaved. Sing and pray with homeless children and do fun, godly activities with them.
A few of the commandments to keep the Sabbath- Holy convocation & day of rest Leviticus 23:1-3, To remember it & keep it holy Exodus 20:8-11, the sixth day (Friday) shall be a prep day Exodus 16:4-6, No cooking on the Sabbath day Exodus 16:21-26, No buying or selling Nehemiah 10:31-33, Bear no burdens Nehemiah 13: 15-22 & Jeremiah 17: 21-24. Don't do your own pleasures & and call the Sabbath a delight Isaiah 58:13-14.
That all sounds great but that sounds like work opposite of sabbath.
Isn't that the OPPOSITE.
Jesus said that you are allowed to do good on the Sabbath (context: Jesus wanted to heal a man and the Pharisees complained about Him healing on the Sabbath)
@@vladdragos501 exactly. Jesus came to magnify the law. And He did so in word and in deed. Some of the deeds He performed included healing people on the Sabbath, plucking food from a field with His disciples e.t.c. Some of those actions offended the Pharisees but He actually came to teach us more perfectly how to live according to His Father's law.
For those contending that helping out is opposite to what the commandments and the old testament teach, I say, nay, the spirit of helping the needy, sick, bereaved and indisposed is the very spirit of the Sabbath. It is very possible to put aside our temporal duties that we use to make a living, prepare for the Sabbath sufficiently, and use the Sabbath day to serve others. That, indeed, is obedience to the commandment not to seek our own pleasures. That is the spirit of loving your neighbour.
If at all possible because I live alone, even though I am not alone because Christ is with me sometimes I just need people around me that believe in what I believe in, especially during the Sabbath and I’m thanking you for being a part of that I am glad that God let me add to you

Not ashamed of this but now realize how to enjoy the Sabbath. Never really practiced it. When God called me to start my business last year, I felt that he was calling me to observe the sabbath. I ddnt know why. I was always under the impression, as I’ve been taught, that it doesn’t matter. We’re not under the law (which is true) so we don’t have to obey it (not true). So when God called me, I took a bit of time to do this. Then when I decided that I will, I felt like I ddnt deserve to take a break. Since I’m working for myself, I would go days and months procrastinating and not getting things done. So I felt like I shouldn’t take a break cos I didn’t do any work. Hence, I didn’t deserve to. I eventually forgot all about the sabbath. Fast forward to today (Saturday), I’m reading the Bible, in the book of Isaiah and I read about 10 chapters till I got to chapter 58 which talks about the sabbath. It reminded me that God wanted me to observe it (it was His instruction for me which I disobeyed and neglected). I read that part over and over (verse 13-14) trying to understand it. I went on Google and found New Testament scripture where Jesus talks about the sabbath. I decided that I’m going to observe the sabbath today even though I’m a bit late and really want to get work done as I’ve been lacking during the week. But, I thought let me come to CZcams to know what to do and how, searched and searched and came across your video. You spoke on the points I was confused about. Thank you very much. Next time, in order for me not to feel guilty for keeping the sabbath holy and taking a break from work, I need to get my things together and do my work during the week, plan well so that I can take this God-ordained break without guilt🙆🏽♀️. I´m really thankful to God because he has made me know the truth about Sabbath . The first time I watched this video . I felt comfortable with my full heart but I had not the courage to tell my friends who were not aware of the importance of sabbath day. So, after watching the video, one day I decided to tell my best friend the truth about sabbath a Saturday night. And on Sunday, when I went to church with my parents, the theme was about sabbath , so I was astonished to see that we were going to talk about sabbath day worship that Sunday . But when our pastor was preaching, I would to tell the truth but I felt so shy to do so and after finishing to preach and when we were about to pray , the spirit of God led me to tell the truth . So I cried in front of everyone led by God's spirit and finally ,I was not capable of hiding anymore the truth . So I told it .
Now I'm convinced that the sabbath is still available.

I loved hearing this again. I had a bad experience in my previous marriage with an abusive husband who would demand we all keep the sabbath. I never felt like doing it again after I becoming freed from him. Now I realize that in God’s Word He commands us to do so for rest and reflection on Him. I absolutely love the Lord Jesus Christ and want to follow Him in everything.
So today I watched your video and listened to another one last night and am going to keep the Sabbath which is today, because I love Him!!

I unfortunately have a job were I do work on the sabbath, but I believe it is a job that is doing good. I take care of animals at a veterinary hospital which are God's creations and its important to preserve and take care of.
I think I'm ok because Yah (God) continues blessing my family even though my job (auto manufacturer) has me work until Saturday morning. After that, I rest 100%.

Biblical commands around Sabbath:
1. Remember Shabbat (Exodus 20:8) - In Jewish households, we do this by reciting the creation story to usher in Shabbat. This is called Kiddush.
2. Make Shabbat Holy (Exodus 20:8) - This means to make it different in a spiritual way. What you would normally do during the week (secular activities), don't do them on Shabbat.
3. Prepare meals for 2 days on Friday (Exodus 16:23; Exodus 16:29).
4. Don't light a fire on Shabbat (Exodus 35:3)
5. Gather with others (Leviticus 23:3)
6. Don't work and don't allow others to work under your control to work. This would include your employees if you have a business, or lawn maintenance guys etc. (Exodus 20:10)
Every Friday evening we have my parents over and eat a special meal right after kiddush. It's a truly special event and the feeling in the air leading up to it is one of anticipation. It's like a holiday we look forward to every week .
Then on Shabbat we attend synagogue service and after we spend the rest of the day there basically having a party.
Shabbat makes every other day of the week sad and boring in comparison.

From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,

Thank you for sharing this. I have further questions if you’re happy to assist. If your church or synagogue is maybe an hours drive away, is it ok to drive there? What kind of food would they have eaten during the Sabbath back in the day? I’ve read online that some people pre-tear their toilet paper as tearing us seen as work, it sounds a little excessive, is there further guidelines in the Bible of what you can and can’t do, so that we aren’t just making up our own silly rules. If you make enough food for 2 days, do you have to eat cold food on Sabbath or can you heat the food up again on the stove/oven/microwave, ya know, I have queries about little things like that, can you butter bread, sorry might sound silly but I’ve read so many different things online it’s mind boggling

@@lr3909 Happy to help any way I can. I'm in no way an authority on this matter so I can only speak on what we do.
1. Our synagogue is 45 minutes away. We drive there on Shabbat and other holy days as do 90% of people there. A select few within our congregation do not drive on Shabbat and actually arrive there on Friday before sunset, stay the night and leave at the end. These people take the Oral Torah very seriously. As for our family, we are more lenient on Oral traditions.
2. Only very strict followers of oral law will not use a microwave on Shabbat. For those who are that strict, they have special warmers that are kosher for Shabbat. We use a microwave in our family and our synagogue uses a convection oven (I think it's called) to set to a very low temperature to warm the precooked food. Me personally, I think it's important to avoid heating the food to the point that it bubbles as that is boiling and Exodus 16:23 mentions boiling specifically.
3. I have heard of people pre-tearing toilet paper. I find it hard to believe Hashem had this in mind when He gifted us with Shabbat. Nobody I know personally has ever done this to my knowledge.
4. Not even the strictest of Jews have an issue with buttering bread. Howeer, there are possibly some issues with chopping fruit etc.
Much of what you will find online will be from Rabbinic sources. Yeshua shot down many of those traditions. Yet on the other hand, the Christian sources you find will often take Shabbat observance far too lightly, so I think it's important to try to achieve the correct balance based as much as possible on what's in the written text.

I had a job at Shoppers Drug Mart selling drugs in the dispensary in the back. I told my boss I will work every Sunday and you will never have to find someone to work sundays anymore only give me from friday sunset to saturday sunset I observe that day now, it is the day in the bi be we are to observe.

Usually at some point within the Sabbath. Some time is given to make my body as still as possible. Therefore if the LORD feels any special repairs need done in my body. He knows I'm ready.
Im new to the Sabbath and still learning. I found a scripture that said to rest so that you can be refreshed. So if I'm really tired i have a daytime nap. I generally slow down.
I also learn more of the scriptures and think about the Lord more. I found another verse that said we also don't buy stuff on Sabbath. Also learnt something about not travelling on Sabbath. I'm still learning about it. Hope what I'm doing pleases the Lord.

Traveling is okay. Jesus traveled on the Sabbath. Doing good. Healing, deliverance, teaching, worship, eating, giving praise, rest, spending time with family, and most importantly, with the Lord your God.
No violent words should be spoken on the Sabbath. No buying, selling, working, or making others work.
Keeping the Sabbath for me it's very difficult to go to a church that people don't even really want to talk to me so I guess I'm just here to hear the gospel but and family members say this is my Sabbath I think the end times are coming soon keeping the Sabbath is the hardest thing I do all week

Your works do not save you or earn favor before God.
It is Grace, the doctrine of grace means unmerited favor. Add anything to the person and works of Christ and you’re now in apostasy. The poison of satan is subtle. I too once fell into this trap in the Hebrew roots movement, partially due to my Jewish ancestry. God the Holy Spirit led me to truth. Remember though, there is always tares among the wheat in every congregation, we just cannot see them except by what we see on the outside.
Follow the Lord, let God speak, test all things and study His word, not the words, traditions and doctrines of men.

My family and I got this revelation. What made it more meaningful though is that we also found out that we have Jewish ancestry. Nevertheless, we keep the Sabbath because it’s God ordained since the creation.

And these jobs like doctors, firefighters, the law is not about causing harm.
Accounting is also not about causing harm. I think Dustin made a mistake in saying those occupations are not breaking the Sabbath. Such reasoning can be used for any occupation. If an accountant doesn't work over time on Sabbath, they might lose a big deal or lose money and this or that, and after all, isn't the money which the company makes feeding people, and if the company can't pay the employees, how will they eat? Isn't working overtime on Sabbath thus keeping people alive?... You can use such false reasoning for almost any occupation. Jesus never condoned any such, except that caring for the sick etc is in harmony with the Sabbath Commandment. If you are a doctor and you go to hospital or to your own practice and the words you speak are your own words and your conversations are on worldly things and some part of your work you do is not merely to help the sick and dying, but unnessary work, maybe like unnecessary administration or reporting or accepting clients for matters not inline with caring for the sick and dying, whether you are a doctor or not, you are still breaking the Sabbath. As for police and firefighters, "let the dead bury their dead", as Jesus said, you come and "follow Me." Matthew 8:22

Question for you or anyone else. I asked a pastor about the Sabbath and keeping it and he agreed in its importance but that the day is given to Christ so everyday is the Sabbath with rest through Him and now it is spiritual rather than a physical day.
His counter question was, how do we as Christians define what work is good and what work is bad to do on the Sabbath. Some will say working on Saturday is good! (Nurses/doctors) But some will say its bad. So how do we have a standard of what exactly we can and can’t do?
I personally keep the Sabbath but was challenged with this question so wanted to see the scriptural support 🙏💕

i’ve heard that the saints of the New testament kept the sabbath day on sunday. i’ve yet to prove this statement, but these were the words of ray comfort, who i often admire as a follower of Christ.
I admire ray comfort too, but he is incorrect about sabbath, he also does not believe in the biblical earth model. So while he is a beautiful brother, he has ties to the world that he hasn’t cut off yet.
For the earth model, the Bible says there is a physical firmament over the earth like ‘molten looking glass’ and that the sun and moon run ‘circuits’ over the earth, and that the earth doesn’t move. Absolutely opposite of nasa’s depiction. Dean Odle is a good resource for this on CZcams. Remember we all see in part, none of us have the full truth but as we are willing to believe the Bible and follow Yah, He will reveal more and more to us. Ray comfort does beautiful work, I admire him too. But he hasn’t been willing to let go of some worldly beliefs in favor of the Bible. We can admire his work but we should get our understanding from the Bible not man.

I live in Sweden. Sunset in the summer is about 10 in the evening. So Sabbath start about the time I go to bed. So the Sabbath evening in my case would be Saturday evening. Which is the same as for most Christians. In the winter on the other hand the Sabbath would start at about 2 in the afternoon.
