Tyne Tees closedown - Neville Wanless - August 1984

Neville's off on his holidays, so this is his last closedown for a couple of weeks!
Previously seen on another channel from a multi-gen copy of this tape, I've uploaded the clip again from the original off-air recording. This clip was also used by Tyne Tees News in 2020 to report that Neville had passed away.

Always nice to be reminded of the days when my ITV Station was completely disinterested in the hard-sell, and was quite happy to engage with the viewer and let the programmes speak for themselves. Wouldn't last five minutes in today's market.
