Love your reaction. Elvis grew up poor so wanted the best for himself and his parents. His taste was considered pretty tacky but he loved it. Have been to Graceland 3 times and will go againsoin. His planes are just across the road from Graceland. I felt his presence every time I went there. Amazing place that you need to see to appreciate Elvis the Man

Everything was left just as it was in 1977. That was the style back then. Also, if you get the chance, watch the 2022 Elvis movie. It will answer a lot of questions about his life.

MY COMMENT IS LONG, BUT I WAS TRYING TO ANSWER EVERY QUESTION YOU HAD IN THIS VIDEO, SO PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ MY COMMENT. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
The beauty of Graceland is that they kept it exactly the way Elvis had it the day he passed. It's like stepping back into history. If they modernized the furniture and decor, it wouldn't be Elvis' Home, so you need to see it and appreciate it's beauty the way Elvis had it. Graceland meant the world to Elvis. He and his family are all buried at Graceland by the Meditation Garden, which was one of Elvis' favorite palaces at Graceland. His mom, Gladys, his dad, Vernon, his paternal grandmother, Minnie Mae, his daughter, Lisa Marie, his grandson, Benjamin Keough, and there is a plaque there for his twin brother, Jesse Garon Presley.
All of Elvis' belongings have been maintained and the paperwork and photos are all in temperature controlled rooms to preserve for future generations to see.
The house gets cleaned every day and once a week, all the silverware is polished.
The upstairs area is off limits for 2 reasons. First, Elvis passed away in his bathroom and the family didn't want people up there trying to satisfy some morbid curiosity to see where he took his final breath. They want fans to remember his life.
The second reason is Elvis' bedroom was his sanctuary. It was the place he went to be alone, to get away from everything. Even when he was alive, only certain people were permitted into his bedroom, so his family wanted to keep it that way out of respect for him.
He failed music class because he couldn't read music. He clearly didn't need to read music, the music came from his soul.
The part where you skipped because you didn't want to hear her opinion on Elvis. This is her job, and she is sharing some facts about Elvis. These facts are mostly aimed at those who don't know every detail about him, so they go into these details for those new fans who want to learn more.
For fans who don't know everything about Elvis, listening to her talk about him could be of interest to them. Just to clarify why she is giving all these details.
I just wish Elvis' family members could be the ones who do the tours and tell their stories of their time with Elvis. I think that would make the tour much more interesting, and while watching Billy Smith's CZcams channel, (He is Elvis' Cousin), he also mentioned that it would have been great for one of them to do the tours for fans because his family were with Elvis at Graceland and witnessed things first hand. So, they would be the best source for information, and just to clarify, by family, I don't mean Priscilla.
One person for sure knew Elvis 110%. That was his cousin, Billy Smith. His job discription was 'Companion To Elvis Presley'. Not only did Billy grow up with Elvis, he was also extremely close to Elvis and his job was to spend every waking hour with Elvis, keeping him company and Elvis spoke to Billy about absolutely everything. Billy has said he would answer just about any question fans ask him, but there are some things he will never talk about. Things that Elvis spoke to him about that he would never repeat. So, yeah, at least one person knew Elvis 110%. 😂
She didn't say he did dinner there every single night, she said they didn't do formal dinners every single night. Which means they were not eating at that table every single night.
Yes, the Jungle Room was kept exactly like Elvis had it. No decor has been altered since Elvis passed. Everything you see in Graceland was exactly like it was when Elvis was alive.
He recorded two albums in this room.
The racket ball building contains furniture from the 70's, which was naturally ugly furniture. The 70's was a bad time for furniture, although you do get some beautiful pieces of furniture from that era.
Like I said before, they kept everything the way Elvis had it, so changing the decor is not an option. You have to try appreciate the beauty in that. 😂
Elvis didn't have all these records and outfits on display. This was all done after he passed so people could go see everything and new generations could learn about Elvis.
He had more than one plane. The Lisa Marie was customized to suit Elvis. He even had a bedroom on the plane.
The piolet and crew had to go prep the plane everyday, just in case Elvis decided to fly somewhere at the last minute.
Priscilla left Elvis for a karate instructor. She wasn't exactly innocent herself. You need to look more into her and her agenda when it came to getting (what I prefer to call trapping) Elvis, and not from the narrative she wants people to believe.
Hope you have a great day further.

Number one and most importantly, you cannot even imagine how absolutely positively beautiful Graceland is. This tour you watched was awful. Yes, some of Elvis‘s taste was odd, but even the racquetball court that you thought was the ugliest thing you’ve ever seen is really beautiful. And like I said, it’s from my time, so it was beautiful in my perception. The airplane is right across the street and it’s mine boggling to see this giant airplane planted just in the middle of town. Just walk across the street from the house and there is the airplane. The museum is so big that it will boggle your mind it did mine. The most important thing about Graceland and I think why people return over and over again is because you can feel Elvis there. It’s almost like not a tour, but a spiritual connection with God with Elvis and the total spiritual experience of it. I wish I could put it in words, but even my friends who came with me who didn’t care for Elvis felt it. As soon as you walk to the gate, it’s like unexplainable. I can understand that you don’t want to consistently watch Elvis reaction, so do what you need to do. However, I’ll have to scroll by those because I only watch the Elvis reactions. About 1 million people going to Graceland yearly maybe more it is the second most visited house in the world aside second to the White House. God bless you young man . This is what a southern mansion looks like during the Civil War. It’s constructed that way, so to move into a southern mansion was considered royalty.😮 for Elvis Presley to move into a southern mansion was considered his ❤dream of all dreams. It was considered the most beautiful of homes in the early 1800s. So this was a dream come true for him.

I completely agree with you !!! I been there, and like you said, you can feel Elvis. Goosebumps all over, love it. Specially at the entrance by the stairs. I love watching all kinds of diff reactions channels, the comments/ reaction. But about Graceland and how Elvis decorated, it's the first time ever heard such offensive words. Elvis was unique person and the good thing, didn’t care about others stupid opinions. This is more than half century ago, common. I don't think too many guys can say they bought a house like this for their mother at the age of 22 yrs old?! Anyways, good luck, boy.

Hi Twano! I’m afraid the Elvis community can be a bit defensive at times. Don’t be discouraged. I love your comments, even the harsh ones, haha! You are a child of the 2000’s expected by us to understand all of this craziness. It’s just that, like you, Elvis was a very good guy! There are those detractors who march all over his legacy but you are certainly not one of them. To him you have offered your valuable time and for that you have my appreciation and respect. Keep going dear Twano. It’s a journey! ❤️

Except for the White House, Graceland is the most visited house in the country. Yes, people go to Graceland almost every day of the year , but the special events they have at Graceland at certain times of the year draws many more people than a typical day does. Since Elvis bought Graceland back in the 1950s, fans have been leaving messages for Elvis on the wall outside of Graceland . From time to time the wall gets so filled up with messages that it has to be power-cleaned to erase the old messages so that people can write new messages . The fans STILL do that even today .

I think he kept it and cherished it because he bought it for his mom. It was sentimental.
What shocked me was how tiny the kitchen was. He had several other homes that were more roomy and modern but like I said his mom picked out Graceland and it was for her. Her spirit was in that house

This is a TOUR!!!! She has been trained to show the house and give little known facts. I have been on this tour at this time. This is exactly how it was. Why would anyone go on a tour to hear dirt. This house is the most visited home in America with the exception of the White House. The front room was chanced back to the way it was in the early days, but the rest has not changed since the day he died. 1977. His room is not accessible to the public.

It’s very nerve wracking!! Also there are MUCH better updated videos of Elvis’s home than this one it didn’t even show the downstairs where his unique & gorgeous pool room is and unique TV room! You have to remember this was top notch furniture & appliances for back then!!! I’ve been their twice once for the candle light vigil where we light a candle the night of his passing and walk up the long driveway to the Meditation Garden that he loved where he & his family also is buried. I plan to definitely go again in a few years if not sooner it’s quite an experience!!

When Elvis’ airplane was in use, it was kept in airport hanger. Elvis had a pilot on call. He used it for his multiple travels to BelAir CA., and LasVegas or any other places he performed.
You are annoyingly negative. If you had shut your mouth for a minute, you’d have heard Elvis had the “ Jungle Room” carpeted with walls and ceiling to make it acoustically friendly. He taped his last Album “Moody Blue” in Jungle Room). You missed all the great info. You are also wrong about trophy room. It’s a gazillion award-winning songs, plus awards. There called gold, silver, and platinum! You need to stop giving your story and learn truth. I can’t listen to you anymore. I wish you success in your reactions, but not for me.
