Annie Stokes' 2023 EP "Wild Rose" is the product of the delicate dance between cultivation and surrender. After releasing an award-winning full-length album in 2021, she found herself adrift in the Virginia music scene - until she began to collaborate with her producer and co-writer, Austin Bello. The subsequent four-track EP embraces the song structure and honesty of Americana music while highlighting Stokes' lyrical prowess and modern songwriter influence.
