I am living in Malaysia but I am Korean. Kuala Lumpur is the best city in my life right now♡
That good are you go to KLCC?
Yes and have go to Penang before? The food there is yummy( delicious)!!
i want to go with u travel
You can't find pork in malaysia. It very difficult for street food.
really glad u said that, im malaysian as im happy as long as your happy
Tht's why Malaysia is famous among the foreigner bcoz of the food there is so affordable 24 hrs plus so cheap and not to forget delicious as well..
Ikr, 24/7 with so many delicious food... that’s why we got fatter hahahaha🤣🌚
Currently studying abroad.. missing cheap and delicious food back home 🥲
i love the wife.she can eat anything & appreciate local taste.
Right? That's how tourists should be. When you visit a country you should eat their local fool, why find food that you can find in your country?
I just laugh you said it cheap 😂😂😂😂 bless you guys money currency.... RM6.00 for a bowl mee goshh i rather go to pasar malam i can get RM3.50 for a bowl of mee 😂😂😂😂
BTS HAPPY I AM HAPPY TOO BTS SONG MY HEALING PILLS..- They said cheap cuz bowl of mee at korean can cost u too 3000 to 6000won per bowl. Plus they 1000won equal too 1usd. 1000won equal too RM3.50. That's why they said cheap for 1.80usd.
Same, the thing is kawasan tu yg mmbuatkan makanan tu expensive, rasa sama je(but actually yg murah lagy sedap XD)
That's normal price though.
But this is really cheap for me.. I think this is considered cheap what
It is considered cheap. Dunno which part of Malaysia you are from. But from where I am that's the normal price
It triggered me when they didn't order nasi lemak😂😂😂
They don't sell nasi lemak in that restaurant love.
isn't that a chinese restaurant
To be honest, Laksa is a hard dish for foreigner to eat. It takes a while to get used to the smell and taste, I love Laksa especially the Penang one but I have lots of people around me that dislike the dish due to its fishy smell. Not to forget, please do try Nasi Goreng if you decide to visit Malaysia someday, we have different type of Nasi Goreng here and you will love them 😊
Laksa Penang is actually very nice but some people cant stand the fishy smell from the broth. It is sour and a bit fishy but tasty. I am Malaysian and used to dislike Laksa but now it becomes one of my favorite food.
xxjira23xx I hate Penang laksa. Can't stand the smell
Meklavier yeah.. I understand that coz I used to hate it too. But if you eat it many times, maybe you will like it.
the food that taehyun dislike is Penang laksa . it was listed as one of the 50 world's best food by CNN. but i guess different people have different preference. haha..so we should respect his choice too. cool!
The fishy smell can be strong especially with otak udang brand
that guy face is me when i try korean food..totally far from my expectation 😅
HAHA. same with me
Tbh,i hate gotchugaru XD
The first time I tasted Korean food it’s no joke when they say they don’t like salty food because the black bean noodles I had I wanted to put salt in it. However it was pretty good I think it just needed some salt 👍
@@ajlim6120 the black bean noodle i've tasted is like overly sweet version of mee hailam
i do not like kimchi to be honest...too spicy for me..anyway we have acar taste better
yeah..because cost living in Malaysia is lower than other country..thats why people will say its cheap
But sadly for Malaysians, that's expensive ㅠ.ㅠ
its bcuz our currency is lower
Philippine is cheaper than malaysia
No .indonesia food is more expensive. All my indonesian friends say so.
I've only been to Melaka and Kuala Lumpur and find Malaysian food taste really good. Wish I can go back for a visit.
anyway thanks a bunch KBS for performing the shoot in our homeland.. am so proud of it.
if they think that is cheap then i cant travel to korea or japan
& i cant leave with a picky eater like him
Yeah, I feel ya ~ High 5 ~ RM 6.00 (1800 won), Korean considered as cheap ~
Its cheap for them because a bowl of rice (plain rice) in korea is 2000won. 😅😅 or sometime its 1800 (rarely)
Oh, no wonder ~
AkaYuki, I feel you! We are always complaining about hawker stall food raising prices from RM 4 to RM 6 but to them its super cheap haha
I love my country, hi from Malaysia
why am i drooling at my own country cuisine
Laksa Penang tu paling sedapp oiiii...Hahahha
Laa depa pi malaysia ka

for me.. i love how his hubby reaction.. it's look like he very honest about what he taste.. mybe some people will judge him as a someone picky food.. but for to recommend food or something show about food.. this is a good reference..
I'm not gonna get triggered by his husband cause I also can't eat kimchi n it's just far from my expectation
Sameeeeee
I cant eat kimchi too..taste not that great for me..
Qwertyuiop 98 me too
me tooo not very fond of kimchi
Qwertyuiop 98 I love kimchi so much. I can finish one bowl of kimchi every time I have my lunch.
Thanks for coming to Malaysia..테리마 카싷 (thank u)
Hope her husband invited to laws of the jungle, wanna see how to appreciate the food
LOL SAVAGE
Everyone have their own preference in food. Welcome to try more of Penang food, voted as one of the best food haven in Malaysia and famous for different varieties from all cultures. I think you will like Nyonya food. 😊😊😊😉💗
Gosh...that guy is an example where he hasn’t been exposed or is open to different cuisines...needs to travel more
cacoon type of person..and afraid of height too
not sure how they got married, a strong wife but whimpy husband
@@keangwooichoo6138 they got married bc they love each other
Off topic but sook unnie looks especially pretty here 💖
I like the girl she enjoying local food but that guy well better dont go anywhere if u cannot eat others food haha
I guess the fried rice and Kueh Teow are traditional Chinese cuisine which is more familiar for Korean taste buds, so Jin Tae-hyun liked them the most.
maybe the ways it cook suit his taste more.
Alan Yee Quan Chua yes n he also like the steamboat.... I already saw this episode.... Battle trip i hope next time the guest can go to sabah xpecially kota kinabalu....
If battle trip guests can shoot their episodes in Sarawak, it will become a booming news for Sarawakian as well.
I think they are in a nyonya restaurant
I guess some food is not to his liking..but anyways malaysia's food are delicious😋
Arghhh... silap la tgk video ni. Salivating at that laksa tbh. Need to go to penang again and stuff my face with all the yummy foods 😋😋😋
Thanks for coming to Penang❤️
Welcome to malaysia..one funny fact about my country is that the food taste better at small restaurant compare to big and exclusive restaurant like the one in the video..
I choked when he said laksa smelt like kimchi soup... HAHAHAHA
i'm think battle trip should refer to us malaysian where to eat ,because there is definitely some place with even cheap prices for food.
yup, rm5 for assam laksa is still above average for locals. but in korea one bowl of noodles is at least 4000 krw or RM15 so it's still dirt cheap for them~
Rm5-6 is actually the normal price for me though.
After watching this. I can tell that he dislike spices. Malaysian food has loads of spices that make people not used to eat, so that they can't enjoy their food.
ahhh... i missed my local food!! I can't wait to go back next month!!
Welcome to Penang 😍
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾❤
malaysian tv pd should see this. kbs makes malaysian food looks tastier on screen.. im drooling...
I normally dont like laksa penang..but i went to this shop and ate their laksa..it totally delicious, doesnt smell fishy..i regret order the small bowl that day..someday i'll come back to Penang for this laksa
Of course its cheap for them, asam laksa is rm5 and 1800won for them and in korea 1800won only get a roll of kimbab but a noodle in malaysia.....
Im a simple man from Penang, Malaysia.
I see Penang, i click like :)
Looks delicious!!! 😍😍😍😍
just like how i cant eat Korean foods, the taste is different with what im expected. i really want to eat kimchi, tobbokki and more, when i try it, it really not suited my taste.
do_nut i understand if kimchi...but tokbokki not delicious also?
emellda yanis it delicious. the one i ate in my place, not tasty at all. i just eat one, and all the foods can not enter anymore. guess i have to search other place. 😂 tthe food is expensive.
do_nut is the chef original frm korea? I mean is the chef korean?
Hey, you're a bad guy in "Monster" drama!. I love your role very much.
Yup, Malaysia is pretty affordable. Hope once the virus is over, do come and visit Malaysia.
Dia ini yg main di "Sassy Girl Chun Hyang" tetap cantik ❤
That's great 👏👏👏 Yummy 💕💕
OH! Is it Penang?!
Oh men! I really love in there! I always come there every 3 months. Eventhough I'm from Jakarta. Why they don't tried the food stall in Georgetown tho?
He doesn't like belacan. It's dried shrimp paste. It's in both dishes that he doesn't like 🤣
Seriously I LOVE MALAYSIAN FOOD! IT'S TASTIER! MALAYSIAN CUISINE IS THE BEST COMBINATION OF OTHER CUISINE!
Untunglah makan tak payah tgk harga beli je sbb semua murah bagi diorang kalau aku berkira-kira dah nak beli
thailand No.1
Thai food is the best and number 1 of the world. Im so proud of my country 😊
OMG when did them came to penang...What was I doing at home 😭😭😭
I'm really happy they tried local foods from Penang, I mean that's what Penang is best known for. Assam Laksa is LIFE and I'm sooooo happy Sieun liked it! I'm not going to comment about Taehyung not liking them because as a Penangite I got a little bit offended LMAO
I think the sambal definitely enhanced his appetites. he's good to go after that. lol
Yum 😋 $1.80
The husband is like my dad. You see, my dad is 60 year-old man so he's not used to any kind of foreign food so you just can't take this old man anywhere especially outside my country. I know damn well he'll end up looking for familiar restaurants that serve his everyday food. LOL
I used to be like that..but now a bit adventurous
im malaysian also can't eat asam laksa. but laksa utara is the best! chinca! it's different from asam laksa..
I love thailand
Aku yg orang Malaysia pun tak sampai lagi Penang ni hahaha
That sambal is sambal belacan.. 😂 and yeah, yummy!
You should try laksam and nasi kerabu
Hi im From Malaysia
This is me witho korean food, there are some taste that I can't just digest
Laksa Penang..
Located in the heart of georgetown, canon street, and it’s called “My own cafe”. Thank me later ❤
Thaifood delicious verry verry good
I dont blame your husband cause i cant eat kimchi and jjamyeong (correct me if im wrong)..weird and raw taste 😂
Malaysian currency is so low compared to dollars and of course it's pretty cheap to them (basically compared to all developed countries). In Korea I know that a drink like Americano in a cafe already cost 5000 won (around RM18)
Kimchi - kobis pedas masin, itu yg dibanggakan
there's no need to be angry towards the husband tho since i am a malaysian myself and cant even stand laksa penang's smell . the broth somehow taste too strong for my liking
actually its consider expensive for the local. that fish noodle actually laksa . allah craving laksa.
If laksa is sour than you should put soy sauce in it and the laksa will taste really great and with otak undang hahaha
malaysian food is veey savory . haha that man say stir together with malay slang so funny tho
Penang laksa is my favourite because of the noodles and the sour broth. Laksa Sarawak comes 2nd👌🏻
Lmao the food they ordered are all considered as 'standard price' in Malaysia; not cheap nor expensive. It's good they find it valuable for their money. 😊
I can’t eat laksa penang too.. the only laksa i can’t eat. The flavor is too strong for me. Lol
Oh my country
Behold !!! The MALAYSIA PAUWWEEEEEEERR !!!!
Vietnamese ............ I love you
Actually, you can get much cheaper than that in Malaysia..
LAKSA DAMNNNNN GOODDD
I understand laksa is a bit strong for some. Anyway, sometimes when we travel we need to test local food. What is the point of travelling only but eat your own food like kimchi or mc d?
41 on tending in Malaysia
That’s the belacan fried chicken, so it’s has belacan taste I believe, different that the normal fried chicken, some people don’t like belacan smell n the aftertaste.. well it’s cool... ;) tho I want to try that tooooo😌
But I really like Malaysian food 😍😍
LOL ..... assam laksa with fish paste is an acquired taste. Either you love it or hate it like durian.
tui đang thắc mắc bên quán Malaysia sao lại vẽ tường nón lá Việt Nam nhỉ? :))))))
Isteri dia pn tkjut tgk dia "hanya" makan makanan korea. Apalagi kita ni yg Malaysian hahahaha. Tp tak mengapa kita pun mungkin macam tu bila cuba makanan luar.
As a woman, i hate picky eater..
I have friends that are picky eaters and I don't take them with me to my trips even when they ask
i'm picky eater can hang for a few days only eats one roti and chocolate drinks for a day. and Alhamdulillah my friends understand me well.
Im Malaysia but i living in Korean cause my father is korean my mother malaysia...

If Foreigners came to Malaysia, they will say Malaysia food prices are affordable but
WE AS MALAYSIAN STILL CONSIDER IT AS EXPENSIVE EVEN IF THE PRICE GOES DOWN TO 0.50$😭😂
น่ากินมาก
Malaysia is famous for food, nothing else...
I'm a Malaysian, it saddens me that i am born into a 'first world country' that have extremely low currency..... The food is not cheap , it's just our money is too small
sambal belacan always tasty😂😍
Ringgit malaysia kan murah . Sebab tu kalau nak travel , kita kena ada beribu ribu duit sebab ringgit malaysia dah jatuh dan murah . So bila nak convet ke dollar memang sangat mahal
For a second I thought that I knew the woman...oh yeah..it's Lady Hae!!
I was trying so hard to remember who the wife is...i know she looks familiar...then i remember that she looked like my senior in high school...and then i remember how i used to compare my senior with an actress...finally, i remembered...she's the wife of wang wook in scarlet heart, isn't she???
อย่าเอาอาหารไทย ไปเที่ยบกิมจิเลยคับ มันต่างกันมาก 😎😏😑
lmao they ordered ayam goreng belacan that even some malaysians find it hard to be eaten kekekeke
