- Recently I heard Doreen Virtue did an about face (not so recently) and became Christian. I decided to do a deep dive and what is extra remarkable is she has denounced all things she did previously as demonic. So I had some thoughts and wanted to share! 🤣🙏❤️
When Doreen was with the New Age, she talked mainly about Angels and Light. Now, when she turned to her orthodox Christianity devotion, she talks mainly about demons and darkness. Isn't it ironic and self revealing? 😮😂
No, not really. If you’ve had an encounter with demons, you want the world to know that they’re real. A lot of people already believe in angels, but not many people want to talk about the dark side.

At first when I saw her say these things I actually freaked out! Then as I listened to her longer I realized her new guy was a devout Christian. This opened my eyes that she was just being apologetic to her new guy.
She's like a lot of women who are nothing without a man, so she abandons her life and takes on his.
Yes, she met him at that 4 square Christian church in Hawaii. But, I really think she was awakening to many people to their own spiritual side which is very dangerous to the control of the masses. There’s more to this nobody turns 180 degrees. Nobody, I really think she is pisssesd by something.

Well said about a loving god. As for Doreen, I think it's all about money because she pretty much went broke trying to save rescued animals at her 47-acre property in Hawaii. There's a lot of money to be made in the Christian faith, just ask the super churches in the US, and the type of Christian she's become must renounce and condemn anything that even has a sniff of paganism.
She believes in the ancient texts called the Bible, you do know there are many many pagan societies who were destroyed because of their wicked practices and their worship of false gods? I could actually get behind someone who has points to make if any of them actually picked up the book and read it through. This unkempt fool is calling God names and has nothing to back herself up with but a twisted commentary on another person's belief system, and maybe her little deck of cards. Doesn't really invoke confidence.
How does Doreen make money? She does not run a mega money grabbing church so - how?

Some christian and some churches are making TONS of money, but most are not. And.. Doreen lost most of her fortune by converting to christianity.
New age is demonic, you can lie to yourself until you will reach the grave, but it won't change reality. And reality is not somehting you will like: we wil all end up in darkness and hell if we don't have a relation with the creator of the universe who will protect and redeem us. May you open your eyes before it is too late, as Doreen did.

She used to teach how to connect, communicate with AA's Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel ... to heal ourselves, stay in touch with God within us. She and her artists and fellows created a lot of Beautiful decks that reflect major and minor archetypes that we, as human Beings all experience as we mature. She published many books and decks and taught seminars for certifications. I adored her .. I am Roman Catholic and have been in Love with God since Ever. Her classes were internationally held. I really liked her especially because she was very much paving a path that onterested me. Then, a whole lot of life happened within her. I stopped following her when she stopped being Grateful to God, she began to claim some powers were hers which, to ME, was not resonant with my beliefs. ^^ She put up a now gone video sharing her experience when Jesus came to her and set her on a new path. When she finally let Him in after He told her to not look to the cards for answers but to come diectly to Him. What an experience for her. She immediately stopped teaching all the classes, etc. Masses of people who had received certification classes came after her in ways that make me cry. She practiced what she preached and stayed true to her path. She teaches about The Bible now. When she first started she was so excited about her new path, her teachings jumped all over the place like the youngest Bible study class after an inexperienced teacher left sugar out before class. She had unrelated things going on that I have seen strong men crumble under. She is no longer my cup of tea but I am 100% accountable for everything that appears in my life. I Pray we are all able to stay focused on our little light and lead or teach by the way we live. The Only Beings that know who I am are Me and God. I have Faith he put me here to learn, teach, do, Love the thing he put me here to do. I am Praying for His Immeasurable and Inconceivable Light to cleanse and recharge the collective consciousness and help us to remember that what we do to each other, we do unto Him. Thank You, Lord for forgiveness, Grace and reminding us all that if we don't know a Bible teaching or verse right now, remember The Golden Rule. Do Unto Others As You Would Have Done To You. If everything was demonic talking to her, what about all the money she gained, the houses she bought? Did she throw the money away? Did she gave up the houses and everything she ever bought with the 'demonic' money? If she didn't its all bulls&it. And she still have her shop on Amazon?! Im really sorry if I offended someone with my comment. I am actually someone who defected from Christianity... and found Self Realization (that our Core Essence IS Source God and we are all fractal of that God). And from my experience, Christianity is all about FEAR and GUILT... and those things are a foundation of "sinking sand". First, we fall into the error of Self condemnation, which leads to severe insecurity, and then from that insecurity (unconsciously) we start accusing the world around us. That is because we "self accuse". As within, so without.
It is easy to miss that modern Christianity has turned the Bible, Jesus and Christ into idols that then must be defended. That a loving God would create an eternal hellscape his precious creations are destined for should be a red flag for those with a deep knowing of the goodness of God. Plus when you add eternal damnation to the spiritual game, terrible atrocities become justifiable in the name of this “loving” entity. Once hate, fear and guilt become part of a God conversation, the faith has lost its way. I love aspects of Christianity, but I feel if we are not willing to have real conversations around these pluralities in the faith we are doing ourselves and our divine core a great disservice. It's confusing reading the Old Testament, the God of the Old Testament doesn't seem very loving or spiritual. Anger, vengeance and human sacrifice don't seem very spiritual.
I think you are talking about Catholicism, which is not Christian at it's core. Totally different thing. Sorry if you were brought up catholic.

We have made it all about Jesus and that belief has not bettered the world one bit, I am sorry to say. Change will come when we recognize our divine Soul and stop trying to escape our being.

He is the opposite really, so I can only conclude they are teaching a lie about God and we believe him to be something he is clearly not. The new age movement attracted a large number of female followers (yes, men too, but it was huge for women and women viewers from the Church of Oprah). It was largely about women shining their light, being authentic, and living their best selves. Doreen's anti new age Christianity coincides with the rise of female oppression, the removal of women's rights (particularly in the usa), and the general going backwards in society. Religion everywhere seeks to opress women, so there seems to be a correlation here.

While, I honor her journey and everyone’s journey, the fact that she is out there actively trying to get people to follow her in her hate filled new belief system is troublesome. I also noticed that, although she tells us to burn everything we’ve bought from her in the past, she is not offering any sort of refund compensation for us to do so I’m sure she has new products for us to purchase now.

That’s the main problem I have with Christianity is that they label every other spiritual practice as satanic. I can respect their beliefs even though I don’t follow them - but they can’t accept mine. I don’t call Christians evil just because I don’t agree with aspects of their religion.

Oh my, your video really hit the nail on its head. I was wondering why Virtue (an ironic last name) went on a total 180 degrees, and as much as she was talking about her conversion, she was also getting other Reformed Calvinist Christians of prior traditions in their background to diss the earlier traditions such as Anglicanism, Catholicism, Orthodoxy which all had a very strong basis in ritual. In a way, she turned from an iconodule to an iconoclast.
It makes me sad when i think about it. I went to a live event in London. She looked angelic in purple.
Her autobiography was an important cornerstone for my re-awakening years later.
I have several card decks.
And it still is. Important to remember her message helped many and hopefully will continue to. It doesn’t negate all the beauty and healing she birthed! It is always Spirit that is doing the work and we are just vessels to bring the love through! ❤️ Thank you for sharing!

Love that you talked about this subject that was in my mind for a while during that time. It's very unfortunate that she turns so extreme. Years ago, I encountered Jesus in a yoga and spiritual retreat from a meditation when I was a non-believer. Since then, I have followed Jesus that I thought I never would because of the "Christianity" slogans I saw when I was a kid, like if you don't believe in Jesus, you may go to hell, etc. Now I understand that's not Jesus or the church I attended taught such a way. Had Doreen Virtue used her influence in the right way, she could've brought more people to Jesus, instead of turning people away. God is love and almighty, and He can use anything and anyone to do good. There's really no need that she threw the baby out with the bath water that hurts her so many fans. I used to buy her books to gain some insights. But I stopped following her because of the judgemental, condemnation message that's more religious, I just don't feel that's how you approach, even if that's what claims to be Christ. And make people think that is "Christianality" all about. Jesus didn't die for us to have a religion. He died to take away our sins and help us live our lives more fully(John 10:10).
Christianity is not about the religious view but loves and serves one another. I pray that people or Christ followers drop your judgment and narrow views on God. He can turn what you think is 'bad' into good with a purpose(Romans 8:28).

I feel you on the Chirstian part of this. Near every "Christian" I've encountered, is ironically like this. They talk one way and live another to an extreme degree. I walked away from "the Church" for this reason.
Angles are not demonic! As a medium these cards can be very helpful! I love getting advice. Usually my oracle cards I pull resonate with me and what I have going on in my life.

If I wasn’t meant to do it God wouldn’t have given me this gift. I have been able to do this since I was a child. Nothing demonic about angles, the Bible mentions angles. I paid for her certification in 2010 in Boulder, CO. It was so much fun! She was amazing - the ego always wants to blame someone or something. If one looks at her history, it appears she has always been a seeker and was a Christian first. It's ok if she is demonizing her "new age" work. So what? It's her belief, not mine. I feel I was in alignment with the Universe taking her classes. I don't need Doreen's or anyone else's opinion to know my truth.

Her book on "Crystal Children" saved the life of myself and my autistic son when we had no family support. I had the honor of meeting Master Jesus to ask him about some of my eclectic practices and he told me as long as I was coming from a place of love it didn't matter what I did. this is one of the best well put opinions on Doreen. Didn't she marry a Christian man. perhaps this was the influence for her change of heart, who knows she may do another turn around again and this time won't hold much credibility.

If you look deeply into yoga, the poses could invite spirits to come into your body. Not saying I disagree with your sentiment but many Christians don't do yoga for that reason.
@@ChristineSpringerElaine that’s a new interesting perspective on yoga. I have deeply dived into the topic for many years and never heard that one. I’ve done it a lot too and mainly encountered sweat. And some slight soreness from time to time.
Yoga is actually a practice to connect with God. But then so is meditation and I was raised to believe that was channeling demons as well.
I have to question why Christian’s are so afraid of so many things when we worship such a big loving all powerful God? Its odd to think He set us up to fail in some kind of dangerous obstacle course where even stretching is out to get us. An all powerful God is logical. Consistent. All loving all the time. And not overthrown by a workout.
But as we have the creative power of God in our minds… wherever we put our faith we create and so if we believe it, it will become so! I think that’s the key most Christian’s are missing. They are creating demons because they have more faith in evil than the goodness of God!
One of the best way to manipulate people and exert power over people is to incite fear. If you can control them to the point where they're afraid to do ANYTHING that isn't sanctioned by their pastor, then you've got them exactly where you want them. Tithe! Preach! Convert others! Vote the way i tell you! Give all your money to the church! Power. Crazy stuff.
Unfortunately I have to agree with her that Yoga attracks Kundalini( the false holy spirit). I have been ministering to people for 18 years and there was always a strong kunalini spirit in each and every person that we ministered to who were either in yoga (in whatever form) or New Age. That's the reality.
have you noticed these 'from new age to christian testimony' videos are more frequent over the last few years, so many people are leaving the new age spirituality scene. but then again i'm seeing 'from christian to spirituality' testimony videos, some are former pastors, it's strange lol it's like everything is a mess in the collective and people are shifting all over the place recently.
I loved your thoughts on this and how you expressed it. People are having the same struggle with Delores Cannon. Good/bad, real/illusion? Quantum Healing Hypnosis truth or illusion? Downloads or messages from Yashua? or an imposter pretending to be Him? How do we know, how can we be certain that the "voice" in your head is good, bad, or your own brain making crap up? It's a valid question that a lot of people that are engaged in "woo-woo" activities get insulted when asked.
In order to understand this, one has to have a multi-dimensional awareness. Most people only inquire at a mental/intellectual level... the conscious mind, and totally discount the other dimensional reality of the subconscious mind (the UNAWARE realm). How can the intellectual dimension of our 3D mind which is "logic" based only, incorporate the dimension of "feeling" and "energy". It can't when isolated and relied upon as the sole source for navigating the material world. We have 5 dimensions to our being, but are not fully aware to them all... physical, mental, psychological/emotional, spiritual/metaphysical. Or one could compare this to the 5 brain waves that determine our experiences with consciousness.
The bible says it was "divinely inspired". In other words, the texts were channeled. Some of the books weren't written until 300 years after Christ walked the Earth. With any tool that you use on your journey to spiritual understanding, ASK God to protect and guide you. Then have faith that God has the power to do so. Then lighten up and find out what "speaks" to you. This is your life. Your purpose is to know yourself, and to love yourself and others.

I love the phrase, “I provided many ways for you to find me”. This is exactly what I believe.
I have her angel deck and I use it still. It's the best deck for asking questions about my pets. I have a lot of decks and most of them want to talk only about specific things. The relationship with the deck has nothing to do with her, and that's the same for all my decks.
I think she had so many decks that she had saturated the "new age" market. She was everywhere. Also I think at some point things changed at Hay House because of Louise's advancing age and the guy who took over did things differently. Astrologer Mark Husson talked about that awhile ago.
Aside from that, it always seemed to me that Doreen was spacey when I saw her on CZcams. It's hard to believe she actually wrote the decks and books, IMO.

When I read up on her life change I was disappointed and lost respect for her a little. I really found her inspiring in my own spiritual journey. And I didn’t understand the politics behind her decision. I totally agree she didn’t need to put down the spiritual path as some people can’t be reached by mainstream Christianity. I also believe Jesus is an ascended master ect. But Christianity actually was beneficial but not the long term path for me. I do respect Christianity but it’s not my path.

I honestly think Doreen got to the point of fame and riches that the satan's people visited her,and she got shit scared and turned to Jesus.
She seems to have done this out of fear and new beliefs. She even got a MA in theology so she clearly believes it. But, now she seems so dead, motivated by fear and based on religious legalism. I think she has a point that you can’t assume divination is safe and demon free, but I just get weird vibes from her. It seems wrong to assume that a loving God will send everyone to Hell even those who’ve never known the Bible.

the fact that she's now out there, giving hate-filled talks about the new-age stuff she was involved in, is alarming! You cannot push-against anything and thrive. If you are pushing-against or resisting your past, like she is, it's impossible to be happy where you are. that's the # 1 red-flag with Doreen.

It’s confusing what happened with Doreen. I studied with her in 2007 and was actually surprised at how ‘Disney’ my whole week was with her, it felt quite fake and shallow and I was a little disappointed…I just took away what resonated, but since that time moved away from her work. Btw there were some extremely vulnerable people in that workshop week with her, and they put a huge amount of trust in her; I sincerely hope these people have not been negatively affected by her more recent beliefs and behaviors.
She's made a lot of $$$$$ from her endeavors. She's also been married five times. Very busy.
She was working through God and Jesus Angels and mother Mary sooo if that was the case who is the God she is listening to now. That god isn’t someone I would entertain. I met her in London a few years ago and she was lovely and she was still light then. I just feel that she’s gone the way of others…. Lost inside her own ego. I am however offended that she is now writing about Jesus like she is the sole representative of the way to Jesus.
If she’s renounced her light worker status then go to your church and leave people alone. I don’t see her refunding all those people who she took money from with their certificates in her courses that aren’t worth the paper they’re written on now.
God the unverse and all the different gods are all one and the same. If angels are gods representatives like her books told us then who is the new god she has found. He ain’t any god I want to know. I like my god my angels my clairvoyant ability to heal others and be a good person. So follow your own path. Those are all sold by third party sellers. She may still be making some money from foreign language sales from the contracts that Hay House made with foreign publjsher,but those contracts are running out soon.

I had her card deck since 2001 and listened to her audio books sometime later. If she said she was Christian and stopped there, that would've been fine, angels fit well into the Christian belief system. The annoying part is when started denouncing everything she's done and said. There are plenty of psychics in the bible who have used their abilities, just because you change their name to Prophet does not change who they are and what they do, it's the same thing! 🙄
If there is a psychic mentioned in the Bible , it was condemned. If certain spiritual practices are not of God then who would they be from? There is no in between. You are either for Jesus or you are against him. Doreen is correct for giving up all of that new.age stuff

About a year before she made this change I had a very negative experience with those angel cards. I´m convinced it was supernatural in nature and they were mocking me. I threw them away, immediately. I think something did happen to those cards. I know she had some sort of scary experience as well. So, maybe give her the benefit of the doubt. Not everything is about just making money.

Shes not the only one. There's a spiritual teacher on You Tube who says that all the beings on that deck are 'false light beings', or impostors pretending to be the real ones.
She even said that Doreen may have come to realize that all the angels,saints and ascended masters that she'd been channeling were ' false light beings',and,she freaked out and ran to very closeminded Christianity.
Im not contradicting any of that,since I'm aware that you need discernment,because of imposter spirit guides, Masters,etc.
I've kind of suspected that some people find out that there are other things in the universe, and, they know only to hurry back to organized religion.
Personally, I just found ways of fighting them.

I can understand her process because something similar happened to me, what I understand is that she wants to amend what she understands she did wrong and tell her followers that this is not right and that she changed her way of believing so she can free herself from those doors that She opened, I don't find that to be bad, but the way she is expressing it in a very radical way and in this life everything is balance, if she decided that now is bad it is understandable but she has to respect the process of each one and not being seen as a judge in the lives of others..
I downloaded a book on Kindle by Doreen but after seeing her videos calling everything demonic, I deleted it from my library. I don't want to deal with her energy. I bever bought any decks by her.
That was wise. You see this so much today. Many don't seem to realize that her energy is still on all that she created.
All I would say is that we are each on our separate journeys. Unfortunately for Doreen, hers is being played out in plain sight.
I think we should be showing her understanding and sending her love. Church leaders who talk of demons are just spreading fear.
I understand from the spiritual guidance I have received, that the best thing to do is to shine the light of love and understanding on any negative energy that you encounter. Love will always overcome fear.
Thoughts of demons are just that, energetic thoughtforms that will grow in power the more energy you give to them. Don't give them your energy, and show Doreen compassion and understanding, and hold a loving energetic space for her. And we might just see her coming out the other side of this stretch of her journey, even stronger than she was before, bringing a few other people with her.
Perhaps this is something Doreen is being asked to do, but she just doesn't understand that yet.
Is it the same if recommended a healthy food that turned out to be harmful food, I told you it's killing me and to please stop? The choice is still yours. If it's not killing you or making you sick, you'd continue, right? Continue, then. Each one has their path (religious or otherwise). I appreciate the things you said. I stopped following her when she changed. I just recently listened to two of her videos and I have been bothered all day. I came from Christianity in my youth and I was not learning life’s lessons and had lots of problems until I found her in her new age life and it made so much sense to me I was about to get my life in order and grow and prosper in love. I did read many books etc from different well known spiritual people. Now days of fear is being spued out I stop listening. She spued a lot of fear. It’s a spiritual journey we are all on. Why would I go backwards? I also weed out some new ages info because it’s more of a distraction than a balance of virtues and mostly love. 💕

I totally agree with you. Why do we have to tell others they are wrong, and we are right? Does this not breed more division? Is God a god of divisiveness? God is love, is that love? Definitely something to think about. And I'm all about people following their own path. And make no bones about it, she's making money on what she's doing now. I keep wondering why Doreen keeps making videos. She craves the limelight and has some kind of "I gotta be famous and tell people what to believe" vibe. And she keeps bringing up the devil and demons. That's fear mongering. Truthfully, I think she's screwed up mentally. I've always thought she was a bit flaky and would go where the wind blows. 😂... I just learned that some Angel's were demons once or vise versa. I believe not everything is all bad or something all good. They are intertwined with each other. As long as someone's intentions are good then you should be free of any demons messing with you. It is likely someone has done something foolish and unjust to summon a demon.

This is actually not true, she has taken legal action to stop people selling them but counterfeit copies are still sold sadly. I thought she was crazy when she converted to Christianity but now I have actually read the truth about fallen angels working for satan and their link with the occult which includes divination through card decks. we can put ourselves in the center to determine our own way & our own 'salvation', but what Doreen & others did was to put themselves out of their 'center' and let God take that center place. our perspective changes when we let God be God and us as loved creation, rightly reconciled (and forgiven by Him), and that welcome invitation is open to everyone, but on God's terms, not ours.

You're going to have some trouble. Hay House, the primary publisher of her books agreed to stop publishing any of her former work as a solo author, per her request. If she had a co-author, like Radleigh Valentine's, they're now reprinting the work under his name alone or the other author's name alone.

I have a couple of her books on angels, etc and I agree that maybe Doreen is a person who is easily influenced. Some of her work was very nice, but some I felt was 'light-weight" - I didn't get much out of it. We can alll learn from anybody though and I would not negate her work, as she is doing now ironically...I like Abraham Hicks teachings, though at first I found them to be light weight as well, on further looking into them, decided they were very helpful, though not perfect either. I like Revealing light tarot reader Maryann, and Linda G the commanche psychic as well, also the Edgar Cayce books, the Course in Miracles, and what I call companion books to it by Gary Renard, such as the Disappearance of the Universe, etc. I would recommend these to anyone who is interested, though as all of them are works put out by humans they will not be perfect I believe ...

God is our Creator. He IS God. He has knowledge far beyond and above His creation. Therefore, human logic alone can NEVER explain the mystery of the ways of the Most High. Just consider this truth for a while; remembering that humans are earthen vessels CREATED by God and have no authority or understanding to try to tell "the Potter" how He should have molded and designed "the Clay". God determined the way in which all men will find Him and that is through faith alone by grace alone through His Son, Jesus Christ, alone. It is so beautiful that you have a strong faith and relationship with God that brings you happiness. But if what you are saying is true…how do you know God, the “Potter” as you call him would have created only one way to find Him when he created so many varieties of pottery. Isn’t that assuming you know and understand this divine enigma? Your interpretation of God sounds quite human actually… superior and condescending, not to speak of the horrific hate He would have in His heart to send his creations to eternal damnation if they not only don’t find him but refuse to submit to ONE way ALONE to find salvation. No one believes a parent good, much less loving, when they treat their child this way…why would God could be this way? And why don’t we encourage children to blindly submit to their elders the same way? Or maybe you do. You’re right, God isn’t human, and yet you believe Him to be the most horrible, judgmental type of human that prowls the planet and still defend him as your better. You accept this as logical in a loving God with a pretty weak excuse that his creation, created in His image btw, could never understand His ways and as such we must not seek to understand…but instead submit, bow, believe ourselves, his beloved creation, EVIL of all things because of one specific fruit sampled by our great great great great….great grandma and request forgiveness for eternity from one specific savior or be damned to hell. As someone who deeply believes in and loves an actual all powerful, loving God I am confused by this common painting of him as a shallow, capricious, condescending overlord that demands worship and ultimate ruling but also gave us free will and many, many options. To see through this as a ridiculous incongruent caricature of the actual creator does not take much human logic at all, much less a divine level of competency. God is absolutely logical and also, GOOD. And good God’s also give explanations and encourage questioning and exploration (like God parents), because they trust in the perfection of their own creation. In his infinite wisdom and power He would not create something with free will to demand it to be given up. Or create endless variety to demand we all believe or think the same. A good loving God would share his power (and did) and create very powerful creations (and did) and create them all equal (and did) and send them all to heaven (and does) and give them as many options to find Him as they each individually need to express their ever expanding variety and beauty. Jesus was an IDEAL, not an IDOL and sadly loses his real message and power in being raised to deity status by those who refuse to question or demand logic from their faith or biblical interpreters. As he said… all these things I have done you will do and more. He was talking to us…God’s other powerful creations who get lost in believing ourselves weak. This is dishonoring our creator. When we made Jesus an idol he becomes an unachievable standard, and as such, no one even attempts to truly live how he did but relies on checking the right “belief” box to attain eternal salvation, sadly generating little personal change (but plenty of guilt and shame) and in this and only this…does God’s true adversary, the ego mind, prevail…albeit temporarily. I do love the book of Isaiah and appreciate it sharing the verse! And how about that Doreen though? And don’t it find it fascinating that voices she now calls demonic converted her to Christianity? I used to follow her and had many of her books and decks. I choose to get rid of some of them but kept some. It was disappointing to me, because I felt I learned a lot from her. It seems she's working from fear now, not love. I had purchased some of her online programs and was disappointed when they were no longer available. I felt that was wrong, because I paid for the content and to take it away from me didn't feel honest. I don't wish her any ill will, but I no longer follow her.

Ask God to be led and TRUST in the power and promises of God. You WILL be led perfectly. But Doreen lost her faith and her nerve, and she got real scared. As a Christian, she hasn't lost her greedy obsession with the video camera and jabbering on about her latest discoveries in life, as if her opinion actually matters. Look at me! Look at me! I'm going to tell you how to live, and this time I have the devil to scare you with. I don't think God meant for the devil to play such a huge role in our lives. Doreen is a tragic figure to me. I've been there, done that. So it's very personal with me. Jesus was (is) an extraordinary being, but he never told us to make a religion out of him. Mankind did that.
