Thank you very much!
you take movie clips and put them together and want money for it? you didnt direct or have anything to do with these movies, anyone can do what you do

@@Lastofthehumans13if you tried to do this you would embarrass yourself
It is not so easy as you think underground man.
Those who HIGHLIGHT beauty are very important also - which is why TEACHERS are so important. They have the sensibility to MAKE CONNECTIONS and offer
their discoveries in a COHERENT WAY.
A work of art without someone to indicate that it EXISTS - dies!!!
The creative process and the exposition of all art
in ANY form must be seen
to live.
Not everything is "original" - but the appreciation of it - and the particular way it is shown IS original.
The person who put this together did a great job!
@@nealluczkiewicz6846 he didn't make the art tho? He simply took it and put it in his CZcams channel
"Every frame is a painting" is the best description of the way Akira directs films
Couldn't agree anymore
Exactly my thought, about...5 seconds into the video at most
The channel named " Every Frame a Painting" has a great video essay about Kurasowa. Check it out. Personally,I think it's one of the best video essays on CZcams
@@Scarlett_Azure Thanks a lot, man! I've just seen it. One of the best videos that discussess Akira's work definitely
Similar to Stanley Kubrick
Woah, this is like the final boss of "The Beauty of" videos.
Yup.
“To be an artist means never to avert one's eyes.” - Akira Kurosawa
The films of Akira Kurosawa fascinate me because they’re all so different in tone and genre but they all ask the same questions like „What is honor?“, „What does it mean to be mortal?“, „What are we fighting for in this endless battle called life?“ and I think that’s beautiful
Watching this, I can get a better understanding of seeing how Star Wars was heavily inspired by Kurosawa
This has been one of my most anticipated videos ever, and it never disappoints. The fact you were able to compress such a extensive director known for consistently creating some of the most beautiful films into 3 minutes of storytelling, is what I respect from editor like you.
This is beautiful. I'm currently in the midst of watching all akira films. What a great timing!
Can you give me a list, where to start and what sequence?
@@aliakhtar_0807 I definitly recommend watching them chronologically starting from stray dog, this is where Akira's style becomes visible. There are some films in between not necessary a must watch in your first run that maybe you should watch them if you find yourself awed by Akira's style.
@@Blondedmedo Thanks buddy
It’s time well spent !
The Best Director of all time!!!!
"Man is a genius when he dreams. Dream what you are capable of. The harder you dream it, the sooner it will come true"
Big man wagwan
The landscape defines the person. Kurosawa expressed this to the fullest. I think he reminds Westerners, who have a tradition of anthropocentrism, of forgotten landscapes. But he was also skillful in portraying people. It is said that Kurosawa respected Ozu. Ozu accurately captured and brilliantly portrayed people who blended into nature. He accomplished what even Kurosawa could not. But ...... Kurosawa is more famous now. Kurosawa's beauty is a proof that he was more concerned with the universality of the landscape than anyone else to the end.
UNFORGETTABLE! From Rashomon to the Hidden Fortress, Kagemusha and Ran... These movies simply live with you in eternity after you watch them.
I was fortunate to have a Kurosawa class during my film studies in college. It totally opened my eyes to the artistry. He was an absolute master and influence to this day.
Thank you fir reminding us what we owe Kuosawa. All those grand and intimate moments and a force called Toshiro Mifune!
Just unbelievable. One of the all time greatest visionaries cinema has ever seen
The greatest cinematic editor is back!
0:27 Holy shit, this shot is absolutely beautiful. Every shot here is, but this one is just something else
You! Behind this video! You have a deep soul. Arigato Gozaimasu.
It's difficult to find words to praise Kurosawa, as a director he was one of the most authoritative possible and few people think about how influential he is. He is a very special director This video perfectly summarizes this, I wanted more works with your language.
Je l'attendais vraiment celle-là, vraiment magnifique ca donne envie de faire toute sa filmo
Absolute cinema.
Akira Kurosawa is the greatest film director of all time.
He was the Master. Every other director in History has "borrowed" from him.
ITS LIKE YOU READ MY MIND! I was JUST going to watch this.
Japanese critics say there is one Japanese movie that tops all Akira Kurosawa films, which is "The Human Condition Trilogy"
But theses are from a Kurosawa's friend: _Masaki_ _Kobayashi_
Thank you very much for making me aware of such a great filmmaker. I wasn't knowing him & his work until I saw this video. Whatever that I saw here is a treat for my eyes. To honor such a talented artist, I will watch his work and enjoy this beauty. Thank you once again !!
I tell people constantly, you dont get what we consider Anime without this man.
Every frame's scope, colour, elements, staging, blocking, stoicism and feeling is what you see in every anime.
Can you elaborate on the stoicism that you see? Interesting comment
I don’t think it’s possible to pick one director as the best ever. But he has moved me more profoundly and more often than any other.
Big fan of Akira Kurosawa ❤
I just watched Ran last night, it was the first in color Kurosawa film I've watched and it was absolutely beautiful. I think spending decades filming in black and white allowed him to nail down the fundamentals so when he was finally able to use color he was able to use it to its full effect.
I won't forget that shot, you used it in this; of the man riding horse back towards the camera in a field and there's a ray of sunshine following his path. That's the sort of stuff you can never plan for and when it does happen it's like magic.
This was such a good video. Especially the song choice and concision.
I had a movie from him called 'peach orchard' to study for a project,
And let me tell u it is still one of my fav movies from anyone.
Every shot is is well-thought and magnificent it make me think like I am dreaming
Kurosawa’s visual narrative is captivating from film to film. Masterful editing & presentation! We need part 2, 3,…to inspire our senses. ✌🏼& 🎥
One of my favourite Japanese Director of all time.
Thank you for this clip of Kurosawa's movies. A stunning vignette of his beautiful work. He was a masterful and visionary director. Kind Regards. Colin F. - New Zealand
I've been expecting this video for many time 😎
Truly one of best directors who ever lived with timeless masterpiece. Thank you
Perfecto
Master class, Akira Kuosawa. And this video maker is proffesional.
this is without a single doubt your greatest ode to any director on this channel ever. This made me want to rewatch Kurosawa's lineup again, which I will, thanks to you.
A beautiful montage using common scenic elements of different Kurosawa's movies. The most suttle passage is the scene where a couple looks at the bright stars in the dark sky and the next scene is of a moving car whose black painted metal body reflects the street lights at night. This is poetic. Thank you.
Loved the scenes of Throne of Blood, Kagemusha, and of course the greatest, Rashomon
Breaking Bad owes a lot to Kurosawa's work.
Videos like these is exactly why this channel remains as one of my favorites on CZcams! ❤
His cinematic touch is unparalleled to this day.
Je me suis fait une grande partie de sa filmographie très récemment avec la collection blu-ray de Wildside, ça fait plaisir de retrouver les plans que j'ai aimé dans cette vidéo !
Been waiting long for this one! It's great to see it, at long last. Great job at compiling such a prolific and masterful director, thank you.
Sensei has been ahead the time,I am glad he stood the way he love for art art's sake.
Amazing video, Kurosawa really was one of the greatest directors to ever be a part of the industry.
I was just watching Ran by Akira Kurosawa and this video popped up!!
Glad you have captured the true essence and soul of all his films ❤ and the editing is just top notch!
brought me to tears, holy shit. I have to watch this man's films
After watching a few of these movies and watching Snyder's movies, I see why Snyder admires these movies so much❤
This was, after the beauty of horror cinema, my most anticipated video. You’re really special, and so this channel. To me this is the best thing on CZcams and no one can convince me otherwise.
Breath taking nothing can beat the nature❤
i love this channel so much. thanks for rendering these clips in 24fps
Stunning!!! I LOVE your content!!!
This is the best of your "the beauty of" series that I have watched so far... Obviously, you've got a very good grasp of the grand master's aesthetics... I really enjoy watching your videos... I'm grateful for the good moments having here at your place...
Akira Kurosawa is one of my favourite artists, and he’s not even an artist. He’s also a genius film director you should know
which film?
@@PeterPing I think Sanjuro is not mentioned enough. It doesnt have these beautiful shots as in the video but a pretty entertaining sequel to Yojimbo
@@Fanthomas1742 The final shot/scene in Sanjuro is pretty damn awesome
Not only a giant artist but a giant humanitarian. 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏽♥️🙏
Speechless. A masterpiece of an exhibition for a great artist from one talented and badass mutha fka. 10/10
Beautiful, gave me chills.
Stunning video! Love it! 💖
Kurosawa is the GOAT in my opinion.
I still have not seen one of his films yet. I am looking forward to it though.
For me the GOAT is Tarkovsky.
@@colinthomas2525 Tarkovsky is hard to beat! hes actually my second favorite after Kurosawa. I was actually just about to watch the Sacrifice.
He is humanity's peak in cinematography.
Terrific editing.... Great selection of frames....👌👌👌
Fantastic edit
Kurosowa helped bring Japanese cinema to the world he paved the way for so many great Japanese filmmakers who've left their marks but none bigger than Kurosowa, not to mention the many western filmmakers he's inspired as well
Music is quite similar to a film, he said. Thank you for the upload.
One of the GOATs 🐐
One of the all time great masters of cinema.
Thank you.
I love Japanese cinema 🤩
Worth the wait. Beautiful. I am so curious to know how much of this was done post, how much we're seeing was shot directly.
absolutely beautiful!! I would watch 1 hour of this video. Next time you could do a vídeo about masaki Kobayashi. Keep the great work.
In my opinion Akira Kurosawa is the best director of all time
Every Frame a Painting. That's Kurosawa Akira.
The man, the myth, the legend
Another banger from you, as expected (and as expected with Kurosawa). Please, make more videos for Japanese cinema! Kobayashi and Ozu come to my mind immediately, also probably Mizoguchi, Naruse and couple others.
Oh, and Obayashi!
Hermoso. Un genio Mr. Kurosawa.
There is no greater film director than the one, the only: Akira Kurosawa.
🤷🏿♂️🤯
Next, the Beauty of Batman the Animated Series.
How good it is that his entire essence and filmography became the video game Ghost Of Tsushima
Next, Beauty of Chinatown 1974 (Roman Polanski) 😊
Kagemusha is the most visually beautiful film I've ever seen. Though I like Ran I tiny bit better.
Putain, ça a fait remonter tellement de souvenirs cinématographiques, j'en ai chialé. Merci pour ça !
This is great !
Absolute legend.
This was gorgeous! I know it's a long shot, but it would be really amazing if you also did one for King Hu movies
The beauty of King Hu
Gran video!
Make one on Satyajit Ray....he was one of the favourite directors of Akira Kurosawa
Tus videos son increíbles. Un hermoso homenaje a uno de los mejores directores de la historia del cine.
His movies are like paintings...We can set wallpapers using his frames
Directors favorite Director
Wow nice!! This was really good both in terms of the shots chosen and the editing, the juxtaposition of compositions, moving camera vs statics.
Ozu next plz?
Amazing
this was ur best video for sure !
I like dreams 夢 (1990) by Akira Kurosawa
I suggest a "The beauty of Mad Men" video
love your work! i would like to request one on Strawberry Mansion please - beautiful film and score!
The scene at 0:53 is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen put to film. It might not seem like anything at first, but after many viewings I believe in that scene alone Kurosawa was able to capture the essence of childhood.
Yes, Madadayo is gas.
wow it's epic... thank you for your videos 🙏
I'd like to see Memoirs of a geisha - it has a lot of aesthetic moments... and beautiful music 🤍
