Yeah, I'm grateful to see this, particularly as the original broadcast was only a few days after Benny's passing. After viewing, I still find it difficult to feel sympathy for Ben Elton, even with the passing of time. He's right when he says about the hypocrisy of the media, but his powerful voice against Benny's style of comedy was carried by some in the media. It's been said that the backlash against Benny Hill was not the reason for his cancellation by Thames, rather it declining ratings and high production costs. Whatever the real reasons, It can't be denied however that political correctness and voices like Ben's must've been a strong factor too.
