I laughed when you asked, “Are these all going to be odd socks?”. The advent calendar clearly said odd socks. Then you started to try and make them into pairs. Your perfectionism on display 😂. Loved Dobby joining you ❤
I'm very surprised they didn't have the 1 yellow sock Harry gave Dobby.
Or the socks Dobby gave Harry- 1 red with broomsticks and one green with snitches.
Or the sock Harry gave Dobby to free him.

I could not stop giggling through this mini rant! Which I completely agree with, and agree that you can have traits from others. I'm definitely Slytherin, but do have Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff tendencies.
Mixed socks drive me completely insane. I might be able to handle coordinating socks, but not if they were different colors.

Your "Dobby" voice! Omg, too funny. I thought it was great they only did one sock per door. Harry, Ron, and Hermione also had fun buying socks for Dobby mix and matching too in GOF so it also goes well with the book cannon that way.

So glad to be wearing my Slytherin socks while watching this 😆 this calendar is really nice since I love buying cute socks. Also, I noticed that they avoided Dobby's body from being opened on the days until 22 or 23. Cute. And it's really fun to mix and 'match' these odd socks!
Dobby brought madness in the second 📕. The advent calendar themed to Dobby is awesome and it matches, pun intended, Dobby’s madness!

This is a fun advent calendar. I like mismatched socks...beats having to look for a fixed pair all the time (especially if you're in a rush). You can literally just grab whatever and go.

I love the concept of this advent calendar, but not exactly the execution of it. If I were to buy this, I would DEFINITELY have to buy 2 of them. Mismatched socks drive me BONKERS. I LOVE Dobby as much as anybody else, but his personality trait of him having mismatched socks, even reading the books, drove me BONKERS. People that wear mismatched socks, I think are really creative, but myself, I just CANNOT mesh with that. But, to each their own!

I'm a Ravenclaw with the heart of a Hufflepuff which just makes me a more gentle Ravenclaw who is quirky but likes food.

I bought a 12 day Advent sock calender at Walgreens about 3 years ago. Half of those sock designs are the same as what you just unboxed. I love the socks, I wear them every day and they have kept there shape. I would have been disappointed if the socks didn't come with matching pairs. I also got my set for 12.00.
I got the socks calendar last year - which was pairs - and all of these socks, with the exception of the house socks, were in the calendar last year.

Finally I remembered to watch this video! I had this calendar and I loooove to mix socks so it was perfect for me. I would have liked to get more colorful socks but now when I can see you actually match them together so well, it was pretty good this way as well. I have black laundry most anyway... :D

I love this one . I just got hallmark advent calendar ornaments. It's has little tree were you put the ornaments on it's cute
Gryffindors: AWESOME I'LL PUT THEM ON RIGHT NOW!!! Could use a few more with Gryffindor color.
Ravenclaws: The calendar's concept is nice in theory, but impractical and a little frivolous in execution.
Hufflepuffs: Cute! ...Oh, only one sock each? Fair enough. I guess I'll trade with a friend if I really need to have socks that match.
Slytherins: I'm going to call the calendar manufacturer and claim my favorite sock day was missing, request a replacement for it.
