- Hello o/ today i bring you king thorax!
I know the elephant in the room is he has hair! Yes but no, I imagine for the changelings who have “hair” it’s actually a very thin silk (unless they’re hybrid kids) for some they’re “hair” is thin enough you can see through it and others are too thick so they cant be seen through, like thoraxs and ocellus and chrysalis, most guard changelings dont have “hair” but some do (especially before being redeemed they definitely didn’t have such things) anyway about thorax! I kept most of his colours the same with some tweaks, love his green and orange and purple to pink colours are beautiful they just needed some adjusting, he also has actual fluff! Changelings used to have more fur on them (like moths) since in my au they lived in the crystal empire under sombra, they’re bodies adjust to they’re environment so when they got into a warmer climate they shed the fur but they’re babies still have fur all over they’re body’s until they’re older, thorax can reproduce asexually btw i think all of them can as they can shift any part of them including they’re reproductive organs (under the rule of chrysalis they weren’t allowed to have children only she would but thorax encourages them to live life more freely)
now i promised I would talk about my redeemed changelings in here so
Average changelings still are born into jobs but those jobs are no longer set in stone for them and they’re traits reflect that flexibility, as changelings they’re body’s are very versatile so they can change they’re base traits however if they want them to stick around and not be a use of constant magic they need to put time into growing that body part and shed the ones they dont want, it takes up to a week to do this for one body part
They cant change they’re wings however, they are so delicate that they cant change them and it takes a very long time to heal them if they can be at all, in my au thorax is married to tree hugger and this is how the changelings adopt a suto “hippie” style in life, they participate in more pony related things but changelings have they’re own traditions (i haven’t come up with any yet but i will!)

I swear, I want to get back into mlp so bad! But, due to past experiences with online stuff and mlp; I constantly hold myself back, plus I haven't seen very many episodes and don't know where I could watch the episodes in order TvT

Verry nice! What's the reasoning behind that shape on the horn? It's spiky in the og, but flat on the top here. It looks nice, but was it inspired by a particular beetle?
Thank you! ^^ yes it is a stylized interpretation of a rino beetle’s horn? Face spike? XD, i saw someone else’s design that included it and i really liked it
