Could even be a less well known reference (never played it myself, can't give a good example) that people (like me) would probably miss. Opening starts with a penthouse. Focus for the party is always on the target. In the party, one of the guests a bald man leans on a railing for a few seconds. Hands behind his back and we don't see what he's doing. He steps away, takes a drink from a waiter, spills it on someone, in the kerfuffle he disappears. Target comments on this and goes over as the good host that he is. Another guest walks up, this one's dressed differently, has hair, and a hat. He brings over a towel and offers the target a smoke, guiding him to the railings for a view. He leans on the railing. Target leans on the railing and it gives way. The other guest acts surprised and yells, takes 2 steps into the gathering crowd, then as the people start rushing everywhere, his hat and wig come off revealing the barcode for just a second before the title sequence. From then, he's almost never obviously in scene. You can see him do things in the background, like the thing with the railing, but there's other things like a conversation between a target and someone else, in the background there's a guard standing in a lookout or on a balcony. A second guard walks up, the shot changes position to focus on the conversation, when the conversation ends, it returns to the original shot and now there's no guard. Later, 2 guards are patrolling and one identifies himself as the one who was on the balcony. The whole group begins to walk across a bridge and it collapses, dropping them all into a chasm. Or there's another party. The target asks someone to grab their bag and get the good stuff out of it. Someone does. The person tries to use whatever drugs (heroine would be best because syringe) and instead injects themself with poison or more pure heroine and dies of an overdose. Between these missions, we get almost no connecting dialogue. Just news bulletins playing on background TVs describing events. or reporters going to places to show the consequences, like the US ambassador to Iran died while visiting somewhere. His body looked badly beaten and people think him falling into a chasm is a lie. Or a prominent cartel leader fell off a balcony in New York and now there's a power struggle destabilizing Columbia. All of it leading to this picture where a war is being kicked off in, say, South America to force Peru to invade Venezuela or something with a leading PMC looking to work for one side. In the end, the war happens and you get the only concrete shot of Agent 47 as Agent 47 as he looks at the consequences of his actions in a burning village, seeing dead civilians. He frowns, shakes his head and walks into the trees, lifting a knife and carving a scar across the barcode on the back of his neck or something. The movie cuts to black with a single line of dialogue spoken by 47's handler from the games (same voice actress) "47 has gone rogue" or "47 is off the grid". Over the whole movie, we haven't seen 47 directly kill anyone. He's never seen holding a weapon. He simply engineers perfect accidents that lead to major world events, then at the end when he realizes what he's done and it breaks through his programming, he simply leaves, conveying a determination to right what he put wrong.

Lol. People around here discussing if the movie portraits 47 in an accurate way and my dog here getting so insecure to the point he needs to demonstrate masculinity or some shit.
47's whole MO is being able to silently stalk and eliminate his targets without being detected. He's an opportunistic assassin with a superb sense of situational and environmental awareness. He is also extremely intelligent overall, some people say he has an IQ of over 170. 47 is also methodical and deliberate with his moves. He is a ghost for all intensive purposes. John Wick, is similar to 47 in some ways but also very different. While 47 is a ghost, John Wick is well maintained, well oiled machine. He is extremely focussed on the task at hand. He has the discipline, capability, and resources to be an unstoppable force. John Wick is extremely skilled in both hand to hand combat as well as gunfights. John Wick doesn't need to be stealthy. Once he starts to track you down, he is going to kill you, no matter what you throw at him. In my opinion, Agent 47 would only win if he managed to get the jump on John Wick, which could be possible in some instances. Once 47 loses the element of suprise, I think John Wick would have a relatively easy time taking on and dispatching Agent 47

Only thing missing was the deep fryer.
And wouldn't Rorschach be embarrassed if the DOC went healthy. And started using air fryers. 🤨😱
Lex Friedman getting crazy lately😂😂😂
47's most badass line in the film were "youre locked in here with me".
Damn, thats pretty dope & badass! 😁😄😅🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
“Hair” trigger 😂
😂😂
Its an actual thing

I love the game franchise and still love this film.
I need to see agent 47 vs John Wick
Why is this bgm everywhere???!!!!
Someone said " you lock here with me"..
The hitman games are more about stealth and strategy....my guy was basically neo from the matrix😂😂
Just get David bateson the role, let him play an old version of 47 , that would be amazing
I love this movie. The look on the investigator’s face once 47 is loose.
You love this movie? You'd love the game more when u start earning those "silent Assassin" badges more often
@@junioryoung9662 I’m a grad student, I haven’t played a video game in a long time. But, I have thought of returning to WoW once I graduate.
@@junioryoung9662I love both. And I play hitman since the very first title.

Suspension of disbelief must have been on break when they made this movie.
Lex is cold in this one 🤣
As Agent 47 I can safely say the comment section is wrong, this really did happen.
I love how crisp and red the tie is
Man escaped like Tai Lung 😂
I saw it 7 maybe 8yrs ago it was incredible ❤ movie's name (Hitman agent 47)
The look on the black mans face at the tsa ☠️
This was my favorite game growing up. Hitman
Lex really went off the deep end
My man has all the moves and ammo for his riffle looks like chewed up crayons..
The guy in this movie is like if Lex Fridman and Khabib had a baby.
Agent 47 is the Bruce Wayne of John Wicks
Jason Statham should be new Hitman
The two guards know whats gonna happen 😂
Real 47 would be like "my name is Tobias Rieper" 💀
bro having a flight first time
47 was the first clue to lose the ego and power trip!
