I used to DJ back in the '80s and absolutely loved Change and I appreciate their music more today!!
Listening to Change music is like eating a chocolate chip cookie fresh out the oven 😊
Laughing out loud at such a great analogy. I share a similar appreciation for sweets and the amazing catalog of dance music from the fabulous singers and musicians that have been a part of Change over the past 40-odd years.

Honestly, it's like living in paradise all tracks leading right to heaven. One brilliant contemporary act. Well done italy without forgetting the featuring american artists who have contributed. Sad for them that no one really mattered in the US hot 100.

Bought this album when it was first released in the 80’s still got the original vinyl and in 2022 it still gives me goosebumps when I listen to it. Stunning!

Yeah, I have the vinyl too still. Bought it in Italy in, I think, 1983. It's a blessing this music, it really is!

A highly significant contemporary album sadly released during the disco demolition era. An desperate attempt to "bridge" US and europe. Forza italia
Because Disco was being expelled from the airways in North America at the time.
In any case, it surely is a virtually perfect record and unjustly overlooked.
I agree. Its about timing. When this album came out, it was during the massive anti Disco anything sentiment. Any music that had anything remotely disco sounding suffered. I have to add that interestingly some of the best dance music came out of this period 1980-83. But yes it is truly a great album start to finish.

Amo os albuns do change até 1984. Depois disto tivemos uma mudança muito brusca na sonoridade e no estilo que não me agradou muito mas enfim são excelentes e claro revelou um cantor espetacular que é o luther.

Better than the previous, even though Luther was on several of those tracks. This album, which sounds like a variation of Chic, made me dream musically.
The song ' On Top' is so close to the Chic sound that you could swear that it's Chic. I guess with Luther doing the vocal arrangements as he did with Chic why the similarity. The instrumentation on Heaven & On Top is straight up Chic. It's amazing how they were able to clone that Chic sound of Nile and Bernard's style.

@@aarondonally8153 lol idk if you rly want any recommendation from me but nowadays i moved on from classic funk (for now) and i'm more into japanese funk nowadays when i want to listen something funky ( they call this city pop but this is funk) and i would recommend tatsuro yamashita's stuff. The guy sings great and plays guitar even better.

their first 2 albums were almost too good to be true. But after that they started using outside writers and the quality of their music took a nose dive. So I started listening to their other projects the Peter Jacques Band, Revanche and the BBandQ Band
