It's been ten days since the Final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest took place and still there are lots of mentions in the Spanish press to Daniel Diges' professional reaction after an infamous pitch invader jump on stage to disturb his performance. How does Daniel feel himself?
After Diges arrival in Madrid, a press conference was held by the Spanish broadcaster, TVE, with Daniel, so he could express his feelings after the Oslo experience: "I feel good, happy. If this hadn't happened, maybe I'd have been just one more entry. There are several ways of winning in life and I feel like a winner. I've done what I had to do".
For Daniel it was a big surprise to witness the good reception that Algo Pequeñito had in other European countries: "Many of the artists and composers, and even last year's winner Alexander Rybak approached me and told me how much they liked the song".
While onstage during his first performance in the Final "my aim was to do my best, then I saw something was not in place and for some seconds I started trembling. When this guy started to dance, something powerful came out of me and I think it impulsed me to go on stronger. I'm gonna try to make people look at me and remember me, this was my moment and this one person couldn't take that away from me. Even my band reacted impeccably not leaving the smiles on their faces".
"I was furious"
But, what happened when the three minutes were over, right after leaving the stage? "I started crying, and I was furious, because after three months of preparation, all you want to do is show your best for the people watching, in your country and abroad. Now I think about it and it could have been even worse if they hadn't talked about me".
It was Daniel's desire to perform twice in the Final and be in the cover of the papers the following day, because that would mean he was the winner: "One has to be careful with wishes, because in my case it didn't mean I was the winner, even if I got to sing twice and feature in the covers! Still I'm so thankful about the quick reaction of my delegation and the chance the EBU gave me allowing me to perform again".
Daniel is now looking ahead his immediate future, with his eponymous debut album being officially launched on the 13th of June and a tour to follow.
In the end Daniel Diges took Spain to a 15th place in the Final of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, so Algo Pequeñito improved their rankings for the last five years. - Zábava

It was professional that the singer and his crew onstage managed to keep on performing despite the incident that happened onstage. Anyone else could have easily messed up. So hats off to Daniel and his crew for that!
Well, I don't see the "cute" part in disrupting the song ruining the whole performance, messing with the concentration of the artists, making security guards going into the stage to get him out, embarrassing the performers in what probably was one of the most important performances of their lives... What Jimmy Jump did was ridiculous.

A Daniel ni se le cambió el gesto con lo sucedido, estuvo impecable.
+Nominefy XXI como le va a cambiar el gesto, si ya sabia que iba a pasar? estaba todo preparado para que cantara otra vez al final y asi escapar del gafe de actuar en segundo lugar. Loa autores son eurofans y saben que cantar en segundo lugar es gafe, algo tenian que hacer y eso hicieron.

A Daniel ni le afecto, siguió cantando como si nada demostrando profesionalidad. El problema lo tuvo el siguiente en actuar el noruego que salió super aterrorizado y los nervios le jugaron una mala pasada haciendo que partiendo como favorito se tuviera que conformar con un puesto 20

Am I the only person that actually likes this song and the performance?
I also love how Spain always performs a song written in their own language. Even though my first language is English and I only speak a bit of French, I would much prefer it if every country sang in their own language instead of in English.

Spain usually send bad songs to Eurivision but this one that was an exception. It deserved a higher position.
Ten years later and my appreciation for what seemed like a tiny song back then has grown up as much as Daniel Diges' recognition. He had and still has one of the best voices in Spain.
The thing that I admire the most about him and the rest of the team is that not even the guy that jumped made them lose their focus, it is something to admire about them, awesome.
Their professional reaction, acting like nothing is happening, this is my one of favorite song of that eurovision, by the way, he is sooooo cute and his energy gives me life ♥️♥️♥️♥️ His dimples tho ♥️

11 years ago I watched this for the first time and to this day it's still my favourite Eurovision song and performance. I can't describe how magical it was for the 12 year old me. I used to watch Eurovision every year with my mom and this song brings back a lot of memories and I always come here for comfort when I miss her.

I'm so glad he got to perform again. He and his dancers are so professional! They carried right on as though nothing was wrong. They were so calm about it that, when I watched the performance live, I wasn't sure whether or not the stage invasion was part of the show.

De las mejores canciones de toda la historia de España que hemos llevado a Eurovision. Y aún así, puesto 15. Me parece ridículo el postureo político implícito en las votaciones. Quién demonios evalúa el espectáculo, la voz, la coreografía, la puesta en escena? Me da igual si X pais le caigo mejor o peor. Se supone q esto es un campeonato de Europa de grupos musicales, no un concurso de a ver quién es mas amigo de quién
La performance fue totalmente anodina. Si no llega a aparecer el idiota ese, habría pasado aún más desapercibida. Daniel fue profesional, y canto bien... pero bien a secas, no es una actuación para recordar, sinceramente.
Si lo comparas ahora, puesto 15 es una joya

Honestamente, creo que la aparición de Jimmy Jump fue una ventaja para Dani en varios aspectos. Primero, la gente empatiza ante estas situaciones y se valora mucho que Dani continuase como si no hubiese ocurrido nada, como un buen profesional. Segundo, obviamente este tipo de cosas llama aún más la atención del espectador, provocando que esté más atento a la canción desde el momento en que ocurre eso. Tercero, no sé si os habéis fijado en el pequeño cambio en su noto de voz tras suceder eso, como más enérgica, y se le ve como con más confianza de querer hacerlo aún mejor de lo que lo estaba haciendo. Como si eso que había pasado le hubiese generado un punto más de motivación.
Puede que le beneficie en cuanto al concurso pero he leido que cuando acabó de cantar se echó a llorar porque Jimmy Jump "habia arruinado su carrera". El pobre lo debió pasar mal en el escenario y aunque su fuerza de voluntad hiciera que le tuvieran mas en cuenta no creo que compense pasar un mal rato

Lo de la energía en la voz es que la canción va escalando, empieza suave y acaba más fuerte. Se nota también en la forma de bailar, empieza estática y cada vez es más animada, a la pae con la canción. Que un imbécil se hubiese colado a arruinar el número no tiene nada que ver.
Es que hasta el título va cada vez más animado... ¿Qué tendrá que ver el espontáneo?
El problema es que el tal "Jimmy Jump" es español, entonces en ese momento lo hizo parecer premeditado para causar ese efecto... sobre todo de mal gusto, viniendo de un paisano del participante. Supongo que no pasó desapercibido para los jueces el dato.

Cuando cantaron las Azúcar Moreno, la música la pusieron a destiempo los técnicos, y ellas siguieron, como buenas profesionales, hasta que se dieron cuenta aquellos, y empezaron otra vez.
Con Daniel Diges, entra un espontáneo y no perdió la compostura, como buen profesional, a pesar de que los de seguridad subieron con una pachorra increíble y tardaron en sacarlo del escenario. Desde luego, nos pasan cosas muy curiosas, pero nuestros representantes siempre han sabido estar a la altura de la situación.

Cuando escuche la cancion en el 2010 no me gustó, pero luego volvi a escucharla algunas veces, y ahora en 2016 si me gusta bastante, pero principalmente gracias a la voz de Daniel. Me gusta su accento tambien :) Saludos de Polonia :)
