Overlooking Offenses
Proverbs 19:11
Two ways to overlook the wrong done by others:
1. Take responsibility by applying wisdom to the situation.
“Good sense makes one slow to anger” Proverbs 19:11
2. Remind yourself of the gospel when dealing with the wrong done by others:
“and it is his glory to overlook an offense” Proverbs 19:11
Things not to overlook:
1. When there is abuse or danger.
2. A moral law has been broken.
Things we can overlook:
1. When someone has a different opinion than us.
2. People or actions that annoy us.
