This is more like a cover of Linda Ronstadt's cover of the Rolling Stones. Very nicely done. Everybody thinks it is easy. When it sounds good like this, it seems like it is so simple to do. The reality of it is that it is not as easy as it looks folks. It takes talent to make it sound nice like this.
@@suziebrownsongsIs there more of this show on video? I am pretty sure most folks that have watched this video would love to see more of this show. The band was really good too. In my youth, I worked with some local bands doing set up and break down of the gear. I don't think most people know that it is special when it is good. This is not easy to do well. On this night this was great.
You guys sound great. In the summer of 1978 (maybe) I went with my brother & maybe about 8 friends from Phoenix, down to see the Rolling Stones in Tucson. Of course it was like 112 F outside. The huge crowd went absolutely crazy when Linda came out on stage to sing this song with the Stones, completely by surprise. Arizona just loves our girl Linda.
Whoa that is positively EPIC that you got to see her with them doing this song. She is such a good example of a front woman. She’s so commanding without being overbearing. Love her so much.
Because she was copying the way Linda Ronstadt sang it. Yes, it's just words to a song, but I think that Linda wasn't comfortable with those words as Mick Jagger sang it. She always tried to project herself as a hetero nymph very into men. And image was very important to her.

Wonderful...shows how this little gem of a song can stretch to down and sweet at the same time...Nice inventive guitar licks too.
Thank you Stephen!
...your reply only 3 hours ago. WOW. I guess you are State side...I am Gloucestershire side. (UK). Your voice has a sort of Country twang. Lovely.

NEVR UNDERSTAND WHY SHE WLAKED AWAY...???¿¿¿
Great job on this song, what's wrong with that lame crowd?
Nice. But needs a bit more energy.
Not as good as Linda but good!
Great, but why film the girl dancing during the guitar solo? Bad choice. No homo
Nice but learn the words. It's not "People try to rape me..." it's "women think I'm tasty, but they're always tryin' to waste me"
