I haven't too. But seeing other armys purchase this like it is definetely worth it for them to throw their money to this overpriced album, it's way more frustrating. Imagine wasting a lot of money to an album barely made with effort. It's like buying a unworthy luxurious brand.
everything they make is made with effort. they (bts) put so much time and love into every single thing they do. (albums, mvs, music, vlives, dances, performances, etc) seeing people being frustrated with not having a simple photo book is disappointing considering we see the boys practically everyday anyways. i don’t have any albums meaning i don’t have any photo books, and the albums still come with photo cards and posters. we need to appreciate everything they do for us

Like i'm grateful that i can afford an album because a lot of people can't but if i'm spending my money on something than I'd like to get good quality and actually something in the album in return. I mean they put a higher price on this album so i obviously expected that there will be more stuff in the album or something we haven't seen before. But no. The only useful things are CD, stickers, book with lyrics ( although i don't speak korean so it's kinda useless to me but it's still nice that it's there ) and a photocard which btw is so easy to damage. Unlike other photocards it's made out of something that i don't know what it is and i was quite surprised when i touched it cause it's sooo easy to break it or damage it in any way. I mean i payed almost 40€ for this so yeah i expected *something* . I don't know if i should even speak about the "photobook". It's literally posters and i don't know what to do with it. I ain't gonna put it on the wall cause it's supposed to be a "photobook" and obviously i don't want my whole room in mots 7 photobookposters but i can't properly look through to it cause it's not made like a proper photobook ( i do that from time to time since i love to watch photobooks cause everyone's so pretty🥺 ). So yeah. I maybe sound like a brat but i payed 40€ for this so i have the right to complain and be disappointed.
i bought this album (version 2) and its my first album of k pop i have ever bought ... However, honestly i wasnt expecting something more from this album, i didnt like this "newspaper papers" of the photos, when i open the poster i was a little disappointed cause you can't see well what is in the photo, i mean, comparing to persona or any other album, this change wasn't really good for who bought, specially the version 2. I wish i had bought the version 4. but that's my opnion...
i personally love this new way of packaging, the lyrics have their own book and they have their own photo "book"(?). and i love seeing them try new things.

Sadly bts didn't directly involved with the production of album design etc. Plus, it's very normal to have an opinion (disappointed) with the products you've purchased as a consumer.

I think the "photo book" acts more of a "poster book" where you can use it as individuals photos to put on walls or frame, etc... When I was young it would be so annoying ripping the pages of magazines out and there was a staple mark, as well as the page line from the fold. But the way they designed it helped combat that issue!!!

I feel like BH should have announced before the release there wasn't going to be a photobook like before. Now many are disappointed because it's different than what we are used to without anyone telling us 😭 the photobooks are a huge contribution to why many buy the physical copies.

the things is... Twitter blew this "Eco-friendly paper" thing up with no evidence or receipts to back it up. It was never stated that it was eco-friendly, especially with how big and heavy the cover is. It doesn't add up and are quick to defend it as such and call the ones who bought it and are disappointed "brats and ungrateful". People shouldn't shut down consumers who genuinely have issues with a product. Its not like we're hating the music. The music is amazing!!!! The problem is simply the quality of physical copy we bought to collect also the false advertising of the "Photobook" should've called it "Photo Pamphlet" or "Mini Poster Book". Compared to MOTS Persona we got: a thick photobook with abundant photos, Transparent Photo strip, Post Card (7 vers), Photocards (48 vers) & special picket/standee (random). Everything we got on MOTS:7 can be duplicated by resellers! The "Poster book", "Coloring Paper (You can literally xerox copy this), Post Card (We only got 1 version) and the stickers (also 1 vers) thank god they kept the PC type but I heard there was a also an issue with the photo cards in the UK which is also disheartening. You can see why the buyers aren't happy. It's nothing against BTS they did their part by creating OUTSTANDING MUSIC, but I really do wish bighit would really start caring about the products they put out for their consumers cause they can come off inconsistent (A hit or miss), before you say it's because they had to cater to a larger amount of people... No, that's not an excuse to overprice products and not provide the quality it deserves.
OMG thank you! i keep seeing ppl bang on about it being eco-friendly, but its just blind fans spreading an excuse, there is no evidence of it being an eco decision at all. Also, if evidence did come out that it was an eco decision, that absolutely does not justify the price hike for what amounts to far far less product overall.
Yeah a lot of people have told me it was bighits attempt to be more eco friendly since fans were ranting about it, but I never saw anything that stated it was ever made eco friendly.
honestly I'm a bit disappointed...i ordered it because i thought it will be full of stuff and seeing that it has less pictures than persona just makes me so sad...i mean the album is sooo big they could have easily put a photobook in there

Hmm some armys here are disappointed on the actual physical album. I know that this album is quite expensive but, its not solely the freebies in it that we are paying for but the music that they worked hard for. That's the most physical thing you can display as sign of your support and love for them. They would be very sad to read that they disappointed army somehow. Please note also that the number of songs for this album is more than double compared to persona, producing these songs is not cheap. So yeah it's actually the quality of the songs that we are paying for and not the freebies. They worked real hard, let's appreciate this album and not discourage other army from buying it. I purchased 1 version for now but despite seeing these, I'm still planning on completing the 4 versions. Let's get it ARMY PS: let's keep on str3@ming ON MV!!

This album is a masterpeice, it has 20 songs in it and 15 of them are brand new. Our boys poured everything they have to make this possible and people are whining. If they don’t like it, give it away for people who don’t have.
i personally don't think armies are trying to bash on the new album, i think they're just trying to express their disappointment because considering the price they expected more. They are solely just trying to tell their opinion of the new album; let's not make them seem like the bad guy

The photobook isn't made of organic or recycled paper. I finally got a response from BigHit. It's just very thin, construction-like paper. It is what it is. The album is amazing so I'm trying to not be disappointed

i feel like i'm the one of the few people that genuinely like the album itself (aside from the music). i understand a lot of armys saying the photobook was disappointing and basically everything that was included wasn't that good. i'm not saying that you should like the album. i just want to point out that bts tried something different. obviously it didn't do so well. hopefully they will see the feedback and maybe have the bighit put a little more effort into the design of the album. also, i'm not just saying this because i like the album, i agree that it was a bit over-exaggerated and wasn't everything i expected, but i like the album design because *bts tried something new*. i appreciate that about the album and them as well. I understand. But just imagine, receiving more than enough trillion money everyday from fans buying their merchs and everything they release, and then they'll give us a freaking newspaper which don't even have english words, and that's a complete riffoff. Many intl fans are used to seeing photos from photobooks, bc regardless of the notes from albums in hangul, the photos are the main point of the album. So having korean notes and lyrics, and then no photobook, it's a complete disappointment and tbh, a waste of money.
also, I remembered bighit giving big efforts in the mv, to the album when they first started out with bts. Their first album even have great packaging and big efforted photos, and that's the time when bighit is even struggling about money. Now that they have all the money in the world, they give us THIS. Seems like money really changes people.

After persona's album officially out, they had billions of budget for the love yourself tour series. Now i selled a few of them but decided to keep some as a memory and also to support my idols so idk...I just though we don’t have to complain 24/7 ik this pple bought the albums with their money but expected smth different but we can’t change it so at least we can focus on the good things🙂
ok but listen: I fell in LOVE with version two the minute I saw that dark blue seven like no joke. I adore those pictures, I get they are super dark but I also like that because it totally fits the theme they're going for with this album. I almost see them embodying their shadows that they are singing and rapping about in the songs. AND THEY HAVE WINGS. Like bois this is IT. **Edit: alos the six year old in me is HYPED for that coloring sheet Like wow, cant wait to spend hours agonizing how to layer colors to make my perfect seven lolol
I’m a U.K. army and got the group pc in all four versions (I think it was a U.K. wide thing but I’m not sure), which is fine bc ot7 but I find the randomness of pulling a member card really fun when unboxing so idk. it would have been nice to have a bound photo book but it’s not the end of the world. I love the new songs and the concepts and the choreography for ON so very happy with this comeback overall 😁

Leah B IKR and pics weren’t even HD quality. Not to mention the photo book can’t even be called a book it’s literally newspaper material. The tracks were a bop no doubt but I expected more? Big hit should really fix this.

you all be hating it,but i’m planning to buy another version of this...hahahahaha...there are basically a mini poster of the individual member compare to the normal photobook...i can see myself making it as a poster...and putting the others in the flip file folder which make it easier because i don’t need to take out the album just to see the photobook...and before you say anything,i own a couple of bts photobook but i love this way way way better...have no complains whatsoever...furthermore the album is hugge because they need to put the photobook which you all hate so much...😌😌😌
i just recently got mine and i personally love it. all the hard work they put into the album is worth the $25 each. i love the “photo book” because they are actually posters you can hand up which are more useful than the actual photo book. i just wish the post cards were different considering most people tend to grab each version. either way the effort they put into the album pays off and i’m really happy about the posters!

I just got versions 2 and 4 after watching your video! Those were my favorite concepts. Jin is also my ultimate bias! I was only going to buy Version 4 at first simply because I liked the logo colors on it, but when you showed version 2 and the Black Swan concept, I absolutely died looking at them. ESPECIALLY Jin and Tae. That sold it for me, haha
i hate this packaging but alot of armys are acting as if they love it but bighit really did cut so many corners, yes the songs are great but paying so much for each piece is a scam - at least the photocards are cute Edit: i hate the packaging but that doesnt mean i wont be buying the album - yall company stans need to realize people who buy albums have a right to criticize the packaging cuz they are the ones buying it. If you can't respect that then get some therapy it ain't that deep.
I don't understand the "this much" part. I don't know how much physical stores in US overcharge you for the album, or they also count the shipping, BUT....the official price of the album is 17$, it could have been more... There is 19 track and you are paying for music, no matter if there is cute packaging or not. Is this packaging my favorite? Absolutely not. But I don't feel like I overpaid anything. Music is amazing and I paid for that. Wouldn't mind if there was a regular jewel case, at least we got some photos 🤷♀️

I feel like I'm only one who kinda prefers this kind of "photobook". Not that its somehow amazing, but as bighits tends to make their albums just full of white space with small pics, these kind of postery picture are better to me. But I wish they would do magazine style photobook at least once.. that could look really great with their concepts :/
The photo books had white pages so if you went to a fan signing they signed that part and not over the pictures but you know my chances of going to a fan signing is 0 🥺
This was my first time buying an album. I was so excited for the photo book because I’ve seen what the past albums looked like/included From unboxing videos. I was So disappointed to find out that the album did not include a book like the previous albums. I love the version I got (version 3), but I agree, I was so looking forward to a book and it was unfortunate they didn’t have different postcards. On the bright side, I love the new album/concept, I don’t mind supporting the boys as they and their music/message are what’s most important. But the price was too high for what you get, and I was left underwhelmed.

@@avonotes8108 if they really wanted to be eco friendly, the box should have been smaller, they should have not included a useless coloring sheet and make the lyric book smaller. the posters, the stickers, the coloring sheets, the cardboard box are not recycled. and most importantly, they should have warned people! we thought the album was going to be like persona, small with a proper book. since it was waaay more expensive, we thought the photobook (literally the only reason kpop album are expensive) was going to be huge and beautiful like persona. let people complain. the quality downgraded a lot and the prices went up too.

I'm still confused as to why armys think anything from 8 months to a year is a long time to wait for music. Lots of artists take like 2 to 3 years before releasing a new album. I know BTS themselves have always released stuff quite often, but maybe with their new contract they can chill a bit

its just rlly weird to me that everyone is suddenly acting like they do anything with their photobooks other than let them collect dust on their shelves after looking through the pics once.... bh tried to make the pictures more versatile so people can actually do something with them if they chose to. also, the criticism that there are less pics seems not so factual? there actually was a similar amount of pics in the persona photobooks and ver 4 of 7 has tons of compiled photos just like the one persona version has compiled shots on singular pages. obviously the packaging was big so they could make the mini posters bigger and protected. and in terms of prices, wasnt persona $22 usd at u.s retailers when it dropped? 7 is only $25 usd, a few dollar difference for over double the songs.... im all for people voicing criticisms but some of the hot takes im seeing in the comments of EVERY unboxing video just lack a lot of critical thinking and actual facts.

tbh all you can do with a poster tho is hang it up and that’s it 💀 there’s not much of a difference. plus i got a free poster (of better quality) with my purchase of mots:persona album that came with a photobook. personally i think photobooks are more put together and sophisticated than floppy posters and I understand they were doing it for the environment but the quality was really lacking. On the topic of pricing, i don’t really see an issue cause there is more tracks on 7, although i would rather spend more on a photobook than posters🤷🏾♀️
You don't seem to understand the concept of a photo book and ask for critical thinking? Big Hit sells an an album with a photo book included, not a set of mini posters. If someone looks or not at their photo books or let them collect dust is besides the point. People expected a photo book.

This is the first album I’ve ever bought so I have no idea what the other albums (like persona) had so I’m pretty happy and the stickers on my hydroflask are happy 😊 aaaand I got Jimin for my card so I’m very happy 😆
I think the album is more expensive because it has 20 songs but 5 of those are persona songs and i’s not fair for us to pay those again. Digitally the album is $14. So w/out shipping costs included were paying $12 for the packaging & contents. I think they need to go back to lys:her or tear packaging. $20-22 is a more reasonable price for a cd, photobook/lyric book in one, stickers, and a photocard. also i don’t buy the eco friendly thing. the company didn’t say it + they make lots of merch that is the opposite of eco friendly. summer package, winter package, seasons greetings etc
I love the concept, it appears to be a bunch of mini posters instead of a photo book which is rather cool because you don’t have to constantly flip through a book just to see the photo you like but actually hang it up and I think version 4 might be my fave
I got the album and it is my FIRST ever BTS Album and I'm so excited to see what I get!!😄 but I had to wait till Monday (got it on Saturday morning) to open it with my friends!!! Only one more day!!!😄😘
I wish they'd put a copy of "The Notes" in english. I'd have to say my order of preference is V3, v4, v1, then v2. J-Hope just looks so awesome in a suit in v3. I'd have to say v2 is my least favorite because it's just so dark. I find it bland.
The photos are pretty but the packaging is ass. The lyrics book has more pages than the photo posters themselves. Its really disappointing from bighit who obviously has the money to do more. Not worth it for the amount of money this costs just saying. But I liked your unboxing :)
@@Busha69 i know that there is 20 songs. Full albums with 10 songs usually have 100+ page photobook so if they have 20 songs at least we need 100 pg of photobook. And with the lyric book there could be more design or photos with the members. Or lyrics incorporated into the photo book. My point is the design could be better.

I would also love more photos but this is bts. The lyric book is perfect the way it is. I know people who don't know Korean dgaf but I hate when groups have lyrics in some tinyass font tucked somewhere over a pic and I can't even read them. Bts obviously put a great importance to their lyrics and I'm thankful coz I can hold the book and just easily read and follow them.

I don't know what you think but i actually thought what if the photo book was sent as posters? I absolutely love this album! I love the idea of the poster photo book and yes I wish there were more pictures but I still love it so much! I love the stickers and the notes because with the notes they’re showing a side of themselves for the fans they work so hard for and the stickers I mean who doesn’t have a clear phone case to put the photo cards in?? BTS did well in this comeback and I hope people can see that in some point of view:) yes they cold make things better like the packaging was too big and it seemed empty they could fix that but I’m proud with everything else! BTS fighting!
When I first saw all 4 versions the one I liked the most, was version 1. I think pink looks a bit sweet and interesting on its cover and it drew my attention. But actually I'm absolutely in love in version 4 because of the photobook and the poster. I hope I'll can get it soon. Thank you for such a great video
Tbh I’m also quite disappointed, it’s technically not an album more like a poster book?.. I thought this Era’s album will be better, but I guess not, I’m not hating I’m just stating the flaws. But the good part is you can hang the posters on your wall and they released like 20 songs so it’s good, but the album won’t be an album though..😅 *I have mixed feelings with this albums*

everything they make is made with effort. they (bts) put so much time and love into every single thing they do. (albums, mvs, music, vlives, dances, performances, etc) seeing people being frustrated with not having a simple photo book is disappointing considering we see the boys practically everyday anyways. i don’t have any albums meaning i don’t have any photo books, and the albums still come with photo cards and posters. we need to appreciate everything they do for us

Like i'm grateful that i can afford an album because a lot of people can't but if i'm spending my money on something than I'd like to get good quality and actually something in the album in return. I mean they put a higher price on this album so i obviously expected that there will be more stuff in the album or something we haven't seen before. But no. The only useful things are CD, stickers, book with lyrics ( although i don't speak korean so it's kinda useless to me but it's still nice that it's there ) and a photocard which btw is so easy to damage. i bought this album (version 2) and its my first album of k pop i have ever bought ... However, honestly i wasnt expecting something more from this album, i didnt like this "newspaper papers" of the photos, when i open the poster i was a little disappointed cause you can't see well what is in the photo, i mean, comparing to persona or any other album, this change wasn't really good for who bought, specially the version 2. I wish i had bought the version 4. but that's my opnion...

I think the "photo book" acts more of a "poster book" where you can use it as individuals photos to put on walls or frame, etc... When I was young it would be so annoying ripping the pages of magazines out and there was a staple mark, as well as the page line from the fold. But the way they designed it helped combat that issue!!!

the things is... Twitter blew this "Eco-friendly paper" thing up with no evidence or receipts to back it up. It was never stated that it was eco-friendly, especially with how big and heavy the cover is. It doesn't add up and are quick to defend it as such and call the ones who bought it and are disappointed "brats and ungrateful". People shouldn't shut down consumers who genuinely have issues with a product. Its not like we're hating the music. The music is amazing!!!! The problem is simply the quality of physical copy we bought to collect also the false advertising of the "Photobook" should've called it "Photo Pamphlet" or "Mini Poster Book". Compared to MOTS Persona we got: a thick photobook with abundant photos, Transparent Photo strip, Post Card (7 vers), Photocards (48 vers) & special picket/standee (random). Everything we got on MOTS:7 can be duplicated by resellers! The "Poster book", "Coloring Paper (You can literally xerox copy this), Post Card (We only got 1 version) and the stickers (also 1 vers) thank god they kept the PC type but I heard there was a also an issue with the photo cards in the UK which is also disheartening.
You can see why the buyers aren't happy. It's nothing against BTS they did their part by creating OUTSTANDING MUSIC, but I really do wish bighit would really start caring about the products they put out for their consumers cause they can come off inconsistent (A hit or miss), before you say it's because they had to cater to a larger amount of people... No, that's not an excuse to overprice products and not provide the quality it deserves.

Also, if evidence did come out that it was an eco decision, that absolutely does not justify the price hike for what amounts to far far less product overall.

Hmm some armys here are disappointed on the actual physical album. I know that this album is quite expensive but, its not solely the freebies in it that we are paying for but the music that they worked hard for. That's the most physical thing you can display as sign of your support and love for them. They would be very sad to read that they disappointed army somehow.
Please note also that the number of songs for this album is more than double compared to persona, producing these songs is not cheap. So yeah it's actually the quality of the songs that we are paying for and not the freebies.
They worked real hard, let's appreciate this album and not discourage other army from buying it. I purchased 1 version for now but despite seeing these, I'm still planning on completing the 4 versions. Let's get it ARMY

This album is a masterpeice, it has 20 songs in it and 15 of them are brand new. Our boys poured everything they have to make this possible and people are whining. The photobook isn't made of organic or recycled paper. I finally got a response from BigHit. It's just very thin, construction-like paper. It is what it is. The album is amazing so I'm trying to not be disappointed

i feel like i'm the one of the few people that genuinely like the album itself (aside from the music). i understand a lot of armys saying the photobook was disappointing and basically everything that was included wasn't that good. i'm not saying that you should like the album. i just want to point out that bts tried something different. obviously it didn't do so well. hopefully they will see the feedback and maybe have the bighit put a little more effort into the design of the album. also, i'm not just saying this because i like the album, i agree that it was a bit over-exaggerated and wasn't everything i expected, but i like the album design because *bts tried something new*. i appreciate that about the album and them as well.
(also, as a young teen, posters are in every corner of my room, so the album comes in handy for me lol)

But just imagine, receiving more than enough trillion money everyday from fans buying their merchs and everything they release, and then they'll give us a freaking newspaper which don't even have english words, and that's a complete riffoff. Many intl fans are used to seeing photos from photobooks, bc regardless of the notes from albums in hangul, the photos are the main point of the album. So having korean notes and lyrics, and then no photobook, it's a complete disappointment and tbh, a waste of money.
also, I remembered bighit giving big efforts in the mv, to the album when they first started out with bts. Their first album even have great packaging and big efforted photos, and that's the time when bighit is even struggling about money. Now that they have all the money in the world, they give us THIS. Seems like money really changes people.

After persona's album officially out, they had billions of budget for the love yourself tour series. Now i selled a few of them but decided to keep some as a memory and also to support my idols so idk...I just though we don’t have to complain 24/7 ik this pple bought the albums with their money but expected smth different but we can’t change it so at least we can focus on the good things🙂

ok but listen: I fell in LOVE with version two the minute I saw that dark blue seven like no joke. I adore those pictures, I get they are super dark but I also like that because it totally fits the theme they're going for with this album. I almost see them embodying their shadows that they are singing and rapping about in the songs. AND THEY HAVE WINGS. Like bois this is IT.

I’m a U.K. army and got the group pc in all four versions (I think it was a U.K. wide thing but I’m not sure), which is fine bc ot7 but I find the randomness of pulling a member card really fun when unboxing so idk. it would have been nice to have a bound photo book but it’s not the end of the world. I love the new songs and the concepts and the choreography for ON so very happy with this comeback overall 😁

you all be hating it,but i’m planning to buy another version of this...hahahahaha...there are basically a mini poster of the individual member compare to the normal photobook...i can see myself making it as a poster...and putting the others in the flip file folder which make it easier because i don’t need to take out the album just to see the photobook...and before you say anything,i own a couple of bts photobook but i love this way way way better...have no complains whatsoever...furthermore the album is hugge because they need to put the photobook which you all hate so much...😌😌😌
i just recently got mine and i personally love it. all the hard work they put into the album is worth the $25 each. i love the “photo book” because they are actually posters you can hand up which are more useful than the actual photo book. i just wish the post cards were different considering most people tend to grab each version. either way the effort they put into the album pays off and i’m really happy about the posters!

I just got versions 2 and 4 after watching your video! Those were my favorite concepts. Jin is also my ultimate bias! I was only going to buy Version 4 at first simply because I liked the logo colors on it, but when you showed version 2 and the Black Swan concept, I absolutely died looking at them. ESPECIALLY Jin and Tae. That sold it for me, haha

i hate this packaging but alot of armys are acting as if they love it but bighit really did cut so many corners, yes the songs are great but paying so much for each piece is a scam - at least the photocards are cute

I don't know how much physical stores in US overcharge you for the album, or they also count the shipping, BUT....the official price of the album is 17$, it could have been more... There is 19 track and you are paying for music, no matter if there is cute packaging or not.
Is this packaging my favorite? Absolutely not. But I don't feel like I overpaid anything. Music is amazing and I paid for that. Wouldn't mind if there was a regular jewel case, at least we got some photos 🤷♀️

I feel like I'm only one who kinda prefers this kind of "photobook". Not that its somehow amazing, but as bighits tends to make their albums just full of white space with small pics, these kind of postery picture are better to me. But I wish they would do magazine style photobook at least once.. that could look really great with their concepts :/

The photo books had white pages so if you went to a fan signing they signed that part and not over the pictures but you know my chances of going to a fan signing is 0 🥺

This was my first time buying an album. I was so excited for the photo book because I’ve seen what the past albums looked like/included From unboxing videos. I was So disappointed to find out that the album did not include a book like the previous albums. I love the version I got (version 3), but I agree, I was so looking forward to a book and it was unfortunate they didn’t have different postcards. On the bright side, I love the new album/concept, I don’t mind supporting the boys as they and their music/message are what’s most important. But the price was too high for what you get, and I was left underwhelmed.

I like the song, their concept. very smart & led us to high expectations. dear bighit, the physical album is.... let's be honest. there's a lot of space to be filled, the photobook--why not make it thicker? i'm fine with the poster-photobook ideas, but the paper material must be better if we get that high prices. sorry :((

@@avonotes8108 if they really wanted to be eco friendly, the box should have been smaller, they should have not included a useless coloring sheet and make the lyric book smaller. the posters, the stickers, the coloring sheets, the cardboard box are not recycled. and most importantly, they should have warned people! we thought the album was going to be like persona, small with a proper book. since it was waaay more expensive, we thought the photobook (literally the only reason kpop album are expensive) was going to be huge and beautiful like persona. let people complain. the quality downgraded a lot and the prices went up too.

I'm still confused as to why armys think anything from 8 months to a year is a long time to wait for music. Lots of artists take like 2 to 3 years before releasing a new album. I know BTS themselves have always released stuff quite often, but maybe with their new contract they can chill a bit

its just rlly weird to me that everyone is suddenly acting like they do anything with their photobooks other than let them collect dust on their shelves after looking through the pics once.... bh tried to make the pictures more versatile so people can actually do something with them if they chose to. also, the criticism that there are less pics seems not so factual? there actually was a similar amount of pics in the persona photobooks and ver 4 of 7 has tons of compiled photos just like the one persona version has compiled shots on singular pages. obviously the packaging was big so they could make the mini posters bigger and protected. and in terms of prices, wasnt persona $22 usd at u.s retailers when it dropped? 7 is only $25 usd, a few dollar difference for over double the songs....
im all for people voicing criticisms but some of the hot takes im seeing in the comments of EVERY unboxing video just lack a lot of critical thinking and actual facts.

tbh all you can do with a poster tho is hang it up and that’s it 💀 there’s not much of a difference. plus i got a free poster (of better quality) with my purchase of mots:persona album that came with a photobook. personally i think photobooks are more put together and sophisticated than floppy posters and I understand they were doing it for the environment but the quality was really lacking. On the topic of pricing, i don’t really see an issue cause there is more tracks on 7, although i would rather spend more on a photobook than posters🤷🏾♀️
You don't seem to understand the concept of a photo book and ask for critical thinking? Big Hit sells an an album with a photo book included, not a set of mini posters. If someone looks or not at their photo books or let them collect dust is besides the point. People expected a photo book.

Hunny i agree and disagree. People like me spent money to get a better quality. Sure they made the album more environmentally friendly but it could be better quality. The fact that they raised the prices were also disappointing as well.

This is the first album I’ve ever bought so I have no idea what the other albums (like persona) had so I’m pretty happy and the stickers on my hydroflask are happy 😊 aaaand I got Jimin for my card so I’m very happy 😆

I think the album is more expensive because it has 20 songs but 5 of those are persona songs and i’s not fair for us to pay those again.
Digitally the album is $14. So w/out shipping costs included were paying $12 for the packaging & contents.
I think they need to go back to lys:her or tear packaging. $20-22 is a more reasonable price for a cd, photobook/lyric book in one, stickers, and a photocard.
also i don’t buy the eco friendly thing. the company didn’t say it + they make lots of merch that is the opposite of eco friendly. summer package, winter package, seasons greetings etc
Plus they make 4 versions which means collectors buy more, meaning more paper etc is used to cover thoses extra albums bought.

I love the concept, it appears to be a bunch of mini posters instead of a photo book which is rather cool because you don’t have to constantly flip through a book just to see the photo you like but actually hang it up and I think version 4 might be my fave

The photos are pretty but the packaging is ass. The lyrics book has more pages than the photo posters themselves. Its really disappointing from bighit who obviously has the money to do more. Not worth it for the amount of money this costs just saying. But I liked your unboxing :)

@@Busha69 i know that there is 20 songs. Full albums with 10 songs usually have 100+ page photobook so if they have 20 songs at least we need 100 pg of photobook. And with the lyric book there could be more design or photos with the members. Or lyrics incorporated into the photo book. My point is the design could be better.

Bts obviously put a great importance to their lyrics and I'm thankful coz I can hold the book and just easily read and follow them.

I absolutely love this album! I love the idea of the poster photo book and yes I wish there were more pictures but I still love it so much! I love the stickers and the notes because with the notes they’re showing a side of themselves for the fans they work so hard for and the stickers I mean who doesn’t have a clear phone case to put the photo cards in?? BTS did well in this comeback and I hope people can see that in some point of view:) yes they cold make things better like the packaging was too big and it seemed empty they could fix that but I’m proud with everything else! BTS fighting!
When I first saw all 4 versions the one I liked the most, was version 1. I think pink looks a bit sweet and interesting on its cover and it drew my attention. But actually I'm absolutely in love in version 4 because of the photobook and the poster. I hope I'll can get it soon. Thank you for such a great video
