The chorus of this song is really powerful. So, I think's pretty obvious that this song is about someone who was abused in some way. For a lot of people, that abuse consumes them and they become an emotional wreck. But the chorus of this song depicts someone who was abused in some way staying strong and saying that this won't affect them in a bad way, but will make them stronger. That's why I love this song so much. Because it has such a powerful meaning to those who were abused.
Shiloh Ludenberg it impresses me how much it makes me think of narcissistic perverts.. Just the actions and all the descriptions remind me of that

I used to know a friend who used to be exactly like that. I wanted to tell them in a more civil way when I wanted to unfriend them for good on Discord, but I broke into deep rage and fucked up their old server. alot of drama started and he simply just couldn't get over me while I was trying to get over him, he kept constantly making memes of me and this other guy. one day I didn't even do anything, he even went as far as to leak my face on TikTok as he knew I was insecure of it, it was taken down at some point thankfully. but one day recently he unblocked me and dmed me when I changed my discord profile completely "nice disguise, I'm not fooled" so I decided to take my chance and tell him to fuck off in a more civil way, something I was missing since December of last year. that was the last I ever heard from him.

This cover is really freaking good! Everyone in the comments is arguing over wether this version or the original is better, but I think they're both amazing in their own ways. The original is a bit more powerful in terms of the vocals, but this one is really good too because Sonika's voice pronounces everything really well. Overall, I love this cover and the original a lot, good job! :)

This reminds me of my relationship with a boy I met in high school. He was mentally ill and would never give up pursuing me, even after I told him no multiple times. He stalked me and threatened to kill himself when I rejected him. I eventually told him I was a lesbian after I had a nightmare about him. I hate myself for being like him. I have the same mental illness. I hate him. I'm refusing to have children because I never want a son like him. The thought of dealing with someone like that for decades instead of months frightens me. He might be coming to my university this fall, and he probably knows that I've been in relationships with men. I probably never cross his mind nowadays and he rarely crosses mine. Why did this song have to drag up those memories?

I really respect the original, but honestly i love this version so much more. Her voice is just so much smoother and fitting, my only problem is in the line "as you attack, why wont you ever see, what you have done to me" the "attack" sounds more like "as you are, why wont you ever see what you have done to me, wont define who i am" it doesnt really bother me though, infact i think as you are sounds nicer, and thats my favorite part of the song.
