Despite his success, Raw would surprisingly decide to delete his channel in the midst of his height which would leave many wondering why. In a new 'Here's Why' we ask why the online pioneer disappeared. Instagram: @ComedyHype & Twitter: @ComedyHype_

Long story short, his head got too big and he wouldn’t listen to ANYONE. He had a really bad rant and he kind of ended up blackballing himself. He should’ve swallowed his pride and listened to Rock, who was only trying to help him.
I mean you gotta be somebody before you can be blackballed. He literally blackballed himself
Exactly
Chris Rock is correct this is guy is a professional he can tell the do's and don't of being a stand up i don't think he was putting shawn down. he was telling him you not ready to be in front of an audience because you do sketch comedy but you never done Stand up performance. it's a whole different ballgame it's a form of art taking any situation or just anything and make funny. also be able to at least 20 mins on stage to give a great performance and be quick with it. deshawn couldnt take the constructive criticism from rock and let his ego get in the way of it. you had an opportunity and he blew it.

Out of the dozens of people who've been cast on SNL, you have a handful who actually made it doing stand-up. When one of them tells you, stick to sketches, it's probably solid advice. They know both worlds and have the knowledge
He did one type of skit really good and thought he was the funniest person. Thought he would do stand up and turns out he's not good at it. So he tries to find his old glory and Fame and can't.
Moral of the story. Don't let your ego block your blessings

Current IG/CZcams comedians can learn from this situation. If you get a shot, don't mess it up. Humble yourself, be able to take criticism and don't make decisions based off emotion. When he deleted his first channel that was a huge mistake. The L's in the video are overwhelming. I got secondhand embarrassment from all the cringe moves he made.

Humility is key to becoming wise
He said "hollywood is kinda gay" and deleted his videos. I found that the best early 2008-2012ish CZcams "stars" (for lack of a better word) were the most memorable when they made a few good videos and disappeared. Best example I know is Chad warden.
