I can promise you this runs better then it ever has thanks to you and your team!! Thank you so much!!
I'd name the 57 Barnie cause it was a barn find...😂😂😂
@RobbyLayton call itRusted Lightening!!! LOL I mean come on!
If it's a 6.0L sorry I didn't catch the engine size but you could call it 6057
Best shows on CZcams. Chads Fab, Fab Rats, Matt's off road, Merlin's shop, Trail Mater and now Tom Tom. Great shows that I Do Not Miss. And your all friends too
Agreed
I always catch these shows too.
You got all my favorites also !
You forgot about Peck Brothers
And of course the Great Peck Brothers!!!
So great to see such respect to each other, ya'll have created a wonderfully cooperative community . Thanks
Robbie. You need to find a good Body Shop and get that 57 restored before it’s too late.
😂😂😂😂yeah he really needs a good body guy
Some people don't need perfection. It looks fantastic to me
It is part of Americas history.. protect it..I can see making an AMC a burnout car ,,but fix it like she's never imagined
I'll never understand why people put all that money into an engine only to install it into a piece of crap.
@@jeffyoung478 because when the piece of crap is done the engine still runs and you just find another piece of crap t9 have fun in
Chad I'm glad to see that you're taking care of all these boys in their LS is with their computer diagnostics I did it for 35 years man and I'll tell you what you're one of the best you have a great channel keep up the good work.
The smiles during the test drive say it all.
That was a garage just full of great people. You could see Robby and the whole crew trying to absorb as much knowledge as the could.
And of course watching Demri and Kehins little one interaction was magical.
I always enjoy the smile on his face when he puts his foot in it.
Good job! Love the view of your mountains, makes our 4,200' elevation seem mild! LOL!!
Thanks for the video.
I love how yall tag each others stuff its a fun little game.
Chad and crew always helping somebody and I love to watch awesome group of people
I have noticed lately Demri
Has been absorbing knowledge on building vehicles and learning by listening and watching. Demri corrects some of the mistakes that have been said. Now since this video is with Chad , Demri has just downloaded information as she was videoing with Colton.
I won’t be surprised if Demri will be behind the wheel of this historic beauty. Demri may now want that Godzilla motor.
Yesterday, Robby was setting up the laser table she was watching every move he made.
"911, what's your emergency?" "Yes, I'd like to report gunfire in my neighborhood!" Lolin' Out Loud
😂🤣😂
This channel just grows a smile of admiration upon my mug every episode. One day I may try and stop by to say "hello"
What I noticed was the fishing rods... that is a good reminder to slow down and treat yourself to a day off. It's amazing how many solutions come to you when you clear your mind while out on the lake.
Ice fishing rods? Looked really short.
I always go back to Chad fixing Paul's Giveaway Coronet; who but Chad would have known that a tuning problem was in actual fact weak valve springs? The man's a genius!
Love Robbies face when Chad was getting on it.
When we visited our aunt's in another state, we wrote, "We love you Aunt _____," on a pile of $1.00 bills and hid them all over their houses. They were still finding them a year later.
It's nice to have people with knowledge that can help you out when it goes beyond your own knowledge. The circle of friends we have in out lives are important.
You MY MAN are the one that dials in everything for everyone..THE MASTER control of electrics, fine tuning and over all detail guy!! I truly admire you!
'57 CHEVY! shuch a beautiful car , I remember these brand new...
Robby should name the 57 Heinz
Heinz 57 YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the smile on Robby`s face when you floored it said 1000 words, nice job sorting the tune out, thanks for sharing
That chevy van in your driveway looked really cool
Chad is such a solid guy. Always helpful, always positive, seems to know everything.
Always loved the way the 57's looked and favorite the 409's
Actually, an "expert" is, ex = past or retired, '(s)pert' a small flow of liquid, so an expert is a retired drip!
I think you might have to wash your truck. I could see Hillbilly drooling over the Godzilla. Nice job on Robby's 57. You have been stickered. You'll just have to get him on your next visit to his shop. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! I've known plenty of top-notch mechanics - many of them close friends - in my life and the one common thread for those who are the most successful is that they have the same demeanor as Chad. Calm, knowledgeable, unflappable, exuding trustworthiness. Well done, sir.
I agree with Kehin, with a minor caveat. He said to name the 57 "Lightning", but I think there is so much rust that the name should be "Lightening" because every time you hit a bump, you will be lightening the load.
At 0:14, almost as an aside in the video, Demri quietly and quite naturally demonstrates, by her natural response, what "life" is all about. Thank HEAVEN for good mothers. I am sure it is a challenge for her to properly "raise (actually, rear)" her husband.
An expert. = An ex is a has been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure.
Quote from Blaster Bates, explosives and demolition expert.
Robby Layton has more toys than brains,
Which is not a bad thing,
It's just a fact.
😂❤🎉
But It Helps...................................
@@Chaplain_GM
It does help...
29:23 Aha, notice Hillbilly placing a sticker when you are not locking at 😁
I think the smile on Robbies face when Chad hit the gas says it all. Great stuff guys.
Chad and Family are awesome people, and that's that. We love learning things from Chad, and witnessing him being humble.
Chad you have such a calm personality, and such a knowledgeable person . Good job
Thank you Chad. I'm a scout leader and I use some of your closing remarks for scoutmaster minutes at our meetings. Thank you very much, keep up the great work.
Guys it's a concept car. It has been pieced together with love and care. But there are bits to be addressed. Keep working Robby you will get there.
21:10 - I was concerned about engine temp. also. Good save by Chad.
Good friends are a true "Blessing"
I loved seeing the bits and pieces with your Granddaughter milling about! :) Too Cute!
omg , the view of the mountains as robby was pulling out of drive was totally amazing.
I love it when I get a 2 for 1 video from my favorite CZcams channel's! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Chad is like a multi-tool, can do a little bit of everything!!
Chads gonna need to order a lot more stickers! Pay back time!
Family's are forever!!! That baby is so precious.god bless kids love the skinners family.
Hey Robby! You need to paint that Candy Apple Red and give it to me. I had to sell mine when I went in the Army in 1970. Haven't had a chance to get another one. Now, I'm 73 and will never owe another one. 😪
Chad, I always look forward to your "Words of Wisdom" at the end of your videos. You' truly are a gift to the world.
Good job Masters Chad.
Like the song goes Don't Worry Be Happy. When things don't go your way Don't worry. C'est la vie.
👍🏼🤙🏽🤟🏽🤚🏽👏🏽😊😎✌🏽🙋🏽♂️🙏🏽
That was Great..Working with others and making friends is a blessing..Love the stickers..You need to get some at his place! Take care!!
Its amazing how you can drive cars like that on the public roads ,In the UK that car would fail the M O T which is a Ministry of Transport safety examination .
The tid bit on the end about perspective and happiness earned my subscription. Thank you
Hillbilly looking high and low for something difficult to work on, can’t just stand there. I love working too man 🤙
Your boys are younger versions of you. There amazing kids and you’re an amazing father and mentor.
Chad, your closing remarks at the end of the video really hit me. You’ve earned my respect and a new subscriber. God bless you, sir
Chad you and your family are awesome.
I’m so grateful you told me to check my subscription. I definitely was dumped and I watch your videos all the time everyone that comes out, please keep up the good work , wished I had neighbors like you, my friend. Have a blessed day Chad.
You can set the throttle blade where you need it, to make it idle, and then do the "tps autoset" in the Holley to re-zero the ecu to see that position as the zero point. Then at temp adjust the idle screw so the IAC is 0-10% and then do the tps autoset again to reset the zero point. This will ensure that the iac has the range of motion that is needed throughout the temp range, to maintain the idle rpm.
I'm surprised that Robby found a Great tuner, Chad is Great at his business
Thanx for sharing your experience and knowledge with your work
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless You and your Family and Team 👍
Just a joy to see Robis and Chads smile when they took it for a drive, bring lemons next time just kidding have a good time all ya.
Wow did y'all see that view looking out the driveway, absolutely amazing
Ahhh yes Gratitude, that is something more people need to have. Thanks for the video guy's.
Did Stacie call Chad Grump pa?😜
😂🤣😂 Sure did 🙄
Sometimes he appears serious when he must be thinking of 3 or 4 things at the same time. 🤙🤓
Demri's momness coming through strong with your grandbaby glued to her hip
Thanks for helping Robbie out
Money can buy many things, Robbie`s smile was priceless.
Depending on what ecu company you are using, the auto learning doesn't start until 160 °c ...✌️👍🇬🇧
Watching those guys drive reminds me of a logging truck in the woods
Who needs a chassis dino, when you have a Calibrated Butt! 😁😁
Great job on the tune of Robbie's 57.
School of Chad strikes again! I love your methodical style.
You helped out Robby and I see the Fab Rats truck in the background. They should pay you a monthly percentage from their CZcams money! lol
Not many Chad fab real shops left in the world keep up the chill.
Great job! Love that 4x4 Chevy van in the background. Thanks again from Kentucky ✌️😎
❤Team Chad! another generation of shop babies 👍😎✊
After Robbie's crew sticker bombed the shop, the perfect outro would have had Robbie's logo in place of the Chad's Fab logo. Great channel.
I missed the last couple of weeks. I just got caught up! You do fabulous work and I really enjoy learning from you and your family!
Good morning Chad's FAB'ulous family 👋👋
Don’t screw with the suspension. The stance is perfect!
That cooling fan sounds like a belt sander! Geez man.
It was fun to see Chad's Fab and Robby Layton collaborating on the '57. Chad laying hands on it sure made a big difference in how it runs!
Some potential names for the '57: Rusty or Crusty (too obvious?) Or maybe Cora (short for "corrosion"). Possibly Fred or Barney (for the Flintstone-inspired floors of the car)..
Wow! Y’all never cease to amaze me! As an old gearhead you and your team move seamlessly thru stuff that is Greek to so many people
Thanks for the lesson Professor Chad
Super amazing what y’all do with the interwebs and googles! 🙏❤️😎🤙
...................G'day Chad,
you've done it again, thanks.
Cheers, and God bless,
Malcolm.
You should call him out on the stickers. Tell him you are proud that he likes your shop and work enough to tag it and ask him why his rust can doesn't have one. You did your magic on the car and took it from barely running to hang on.
Too funny, love the stickers. When did he do that. He is sneaky for sure.
You my man are a very talented man! You are good at all the hard stuff to the normal folk like me! I hate wiring and computer's and you are the master of both!! Love the channel.
What a lovely person you are Chad! Greetings from the UK.
A great wealth of information was gained - Thank You!
Best shows on CZcams. Chads Fab, Fab Rats, Matt's off-road, Merlin's shop, Trail Mater, and now Tom Tom.
Impressive….as usual…thanks for starting my week out on a positive 👍👍🙂. Stickers are a tradition in Naval aviaton….if you have to land aboard any carrier other than your ‘home’ your plane gets plastered with that ships air wing stickers, then you have to fly aboard your own ship with all that on your plane….good fun!
You can’t leave the Robbie Crew by themselves at all unless you want to get stickered 😂. You need to get to his shop and do the same thing.
57’ lighting for sure
Thanks for sharing 🙏, amazing content. Great to see everyone,an having fun 😁.
Who’s 41-46 Chevy/ gmc is that? That’s not the one you got out of the wood is it? I picked up a 46 after that video. Trying to get the courage to take my 93 Cummins 4x4 apart to build with the 46. But not sure if that the call or just build from scratch. My wife likes my Cummins as is… I’m not the biggest fan of the square brick but it’s a great truck…
this truck belongs to a friend
It's way hard to take apart a good running truck, for sure.
check out the bandsaw for a sticker
Thanks!! Missed that one earlier.
Love the sticker decor by Robbie at your shop...you all are so much fun and so kind to everyone! ❤
So waiting on the Body work and paint ! Thanks for sharing !
I saw that sticker placement
Everyone gets that big grin when a two wheel peel is involved!!!😂
Great piece, thanks.
