GameDave: A true national treasure.
I've heard horror stories of people even finding mouse skeletons in the back of their cabs.
But I bought a Fighting Mania/Fist of the North Star arcade machine a few years ago with broken pnumatic arms. but the replacement motors cost more than it would to buy another arcade cab, so I did that for spares instead!

That little "speck of dust" was Gamedave channeling Tio's energy to bring this cab back to life. Dave has become too powerful. He's keeping us all Digitally Distracted.
When Dave said to stop looking at the pinball machine...I KEPT LOOKIN!
I love these projects you do, Dave, and the way you present them. Your knack for storytelling is so apparent in your videos and it's always a joy to sit down and digitally distract myself for a moment in time. Never stop being you.
Earlier in the year rearranged my life around owning a Rush 2049SE cab--expensive, but being a life goal, really not-so-expensive. Congrats on the pickup. Nothing better than a big Midway driving cab. Lots of work, lots of fun. If you have cats, keep them away - they will disappear inside that thing the second the seat is off 🤣
Damn that music when bringing in the cabinet was EPIC!
I remember playing a lot of Cruisin' USA on N64 after playing it in arcades and loving unlimited free play. I would've considered getting Cruisin' World if I hadn't picked up San Francisco Rush and been BLOWN AWAY
That's a nice pinball machine!
It's a Stern Hot Hand
@@BAKU2K2 Hot Hand was my nickname in high school
Always makes me smile seeing you upload something new 😄
i wish you would upload more i miss your content so much
And just like that, your son discovered that superhuman strength runs in the family.
You can't keep ignoring that pinball machine, Dave.
Those were some lucky problems to fix all things considered, can get a lot more dicey for sure.
This is one of the greatest Gamer David videos.
So many childhood arcade memories associated with this cabinet. This would be a must have if I ever get the opportunity.
I feel like I'm almost a real man now that I watch Game Dave religiously.
I was DEFINITELY wondering about the pinball machine. I knew about Ms Pacman and Mortal Kombat, but I figured I must've missed some content about the pinball machine. Glad that's not the case.
What the hell man! He told you to ignore it, yet here you are NOT ignoring it! LMFAO
(I'm just kidding, hahahaha)
I am looking respectfully at the pinball machine.
This is some of the very best content on CZcams. Dave, if I haven't told you lately - I am a HUGE fan and love seeing you just crush it at everything you do! Keep it up - cannot wait for the next video to come out around halloween, or thanksgiving.... or whatever. 10/10 would watch again!
Your little man is awesome for helping out!
"Lucky for me, nearly every bolt was a security bit." 😂😂 That's why I love your channel.
Cool game - Replace that marquee LED bulb with a ‘cool white’ fluorescent bulb and I think you will be much happier, usually what many of the arcade manuals called for back in the day. We demand to hear about that pinball machine.
Great video. I now feel like restoring an old arcade game for myself is something doable and worthwhile, Thank you Dave for the inspiration and all the videos as well.
Even in the condition that sucker is in, so much better than a 1Up.
I half expected it to be possessed by the spirit of the game wall
Awesome video Gamer David! It’s great you are able to find time for new content. Made my weekend buddy!
Cheers from 🇨🇦!
I was just watching your Bigfoot review and then went on a game Dave binge. Your content is so fantastic man!
I was recommended this video and it's nice to see more arcade content. Great watch.
Hope to have one of my dream racing games someday.
Love that you are back to doing this kinds of videos! Keep them coming Dave!
I wasn't staring at your pinball! I was trying to get a glimpse of that sexy grey taito cabinet. Love those sides.
You can remove the entire coin box and pedals easily to sand away all the rust and spray paint it. I just finished restoring my world the other day. Midway had some of the best designs and easy to service cabs ever. Thanks for sharing!
Great video - Reminds me a lot of when I picked up my Crusin' World - And you're right the slope is slippery indeed - Now i'm up to 15 Cabs in my garage!
I’m here to enable your growing arcade obsession Dave
This is the best video ever! Loved every second of it. I hope you'll make more arcade game videos. And congrats on the Cruis'n World game.
So nice to have you back into videos lately! I always loved your views on video games.
Love it when a plan comes together. Good work!
This video made me laugh a few times. So good. Would love to see more arcade videos like this.
Thoroughly enjoyed this! Congrats on the new machine!!
Very cool cabinet. What a awesome video.
We all have wanted an arcade cabinet, not just a normal one or a downsized one but a big, absurd one from the arcades themselves. but he actually went and did it. What a king.
I been looking for your channel I’m happy I found it again! Your videos are always entertaining!
It's awesome seeing your son with you dude that's beautiful. I can't remember if I was introduced to you through game chasers or cinemascara but I'm glad to have your input on gaming Rock on Davey! \^^/
Great Video! Congratulations on the new Arcade Cab Game Dave!
Dude I like your wit and timing bro. Good job! I’d love to do this myself with a few cabinets.
Fantastic video as always. And we got *2* of them this summer. I feel special.
This was both nostalgic and hilarious! Currently, Cruis’n Blast is the closest I could get to those golden memories.
Amazing work buddy. I really enjoyed the video. 😁 This looked like a lot of work to get this machine up and running.
Cruisin World is my favorite arcade racer save only for Hydro Thunder. I've never seen a conversion cabinet like this having played almost every model of World cabinet so this was a pleasant surprise and a very rare find! Great restoration Dave!
Great video Dave! I loved it! Drop those vids when you can. I'll always watch em.
If you ain't cruis'n, you're losing.
you’re hilarious i can’t wait to binge the rest of your videos tonight
I just acquired a cruisin world and this definitely helps me get started, thanks!
Cruisin World was one of the first N64 games I got when I was a kid. My dad and I played the hell out of it.
0:05 2:34 😱AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!
Wait, what? -- 🤩This arcade cabinet looks awesome. It looks like it has been never used for years as dirty it was.
Have you ever heard about the Galloping Ghost Arcade in Chicago? They have everything.
Great vid as always!!
Awesome video!! Love watching the journey to get it working!! Pretty sure the plastic infused with DNA was a PREMIUM FEATURE!!🤣🤣👍👍
So happy your back!
Welcome back bro!!!! I’m so happy to see a post from you DUDE!
Dude your son did most of the heavy work with moving that machine.
Happy for ya Game Dave‼️ Nice pick up of a killer classic arcade ‼️
I do find the best way to move insanely heavy objects is in bare feet 😂
Great restoration. Really a restoration for the rest of us. And your son is super cute! It reminds me of whenever I get my drill out and my youngest grabs his miniature toy version to help me. Always melts my heart.
Glad to see you're having good luck with your arcade games so far!
Thats funny, i just bought a double dragon machine the other day and plan on restoring the artwork!
Very nice video Dave and congrats!
I recently got into arcade restoration myself and it's an addictive hobby.
You are truly inspirational. I started with doing sport and diet after watching one of your previous videos.
Thank you, Dave... or should I say Roy!
You're a brave man trying to mess with those old circuits. Plus, I remember years ago helping a friend with a hang-on cabinet with the bike unattached. That thing was still a monster to move.
I was wondering about the progress on the Double Dragon restoration, you gotta get on that Dave!
that's super sick! love me some classic cruis'n. go figure half the battle on the vibration was just plugging in that little cable (the other half being that replacement board)
Great video, genuinely funny. Liked and subbed!!!
That thumbnail! Again, things I can't unsee, lol. Great job Dave. Good to see you kinda able to move something so heavy - stick with that more healthy lifestyle. We need your humor,.. and fart noises.
I fondly remember playing this originally in one of my local bowling alleys and Alladins Castle in the local mall and eventually N64... Great upload
Good for you! Awesome video!
Great video, very entertaining! I don't know if it was for comedic effect or not, but I have 4 full racing cabs and they are all on wheels. LOL
It's here!
Hi filbert! peterbasement here :)
The legend appears!
Tapeflipper reporting for duty
Man this video tapped into memories I forgot I had for this game. Pretty sure it was in the arcade that I worked at and I would sneak in a game here and there on the clock.
So glad you're back Dave
Just found you and subscribed. Great game. Congrats!
glad to have ya back man
It’s no Daaaaaaytooooooonaaaaaaaa, but it gets the job done!
Awesome, Dave! 👏
OH yes. Game Dave notification!
Great work restoring!!
Great Video Dave! Love it, always funny 😆 👌👊
Nice home arcade ‼️ Love the pinball machine
Awesome video man
Great video...cool job that was really worth the hassle
Cool video. Loved that game
Great video, it can be extremely satisfying to take something partially broken and ugly and use your own blood, sweat & tears to turn it into something awesome. One of these days I'd love to find a SFii or Neo Geo cab but we don't really have the room honestly.
Love it!!!! 😂😂 Nice job!!!
Just picked up a Cruis'n World this weekend and I can absolutely sympathize with the 18:45ish mark.
Spiders?! Man I’d have ended up torching the cabinet (and my basement / entire house)!
I feel you on heavy machines, I attempted to move my Neo Geo big red into my house by myself, it tipped over and hit the pipe where my hose hooks up to, breaking it loose and then blasting the cab with water. Thankfully it was ok, some of the wood swelled up but overall you can't tell. That cab is super heavy, and due to the shape, a lot of the weight is at the top.
So, hey, about that pinball machine.
Such a satisfying video.
This was so hilarious and so much fun!!
this was pretty awesome!!
Understandable, have a nice day.
just bought 2 of these machines, and hopefully nothing comes loose on my 400 mile trip after i pick them up
Great find!
