If you want to run low settings for maximum visibility but get stutters as a result then you need to adjust your render resolution, use this with inline with in game benchmark. You want to have a bottleneck on the gpu by 55% and a cpu bottleneck neck of 45%. To increase the gpu number turn up the render resolution. This will also increase visual clarity as well as a silky smooth game play . The overall average of fps may take a slight hit, however the cleaner visuals and consistent frame rates really make a bigger difference than “peak numbers”
Also 1440p is better when cpu is bottlenecking. I had 1080p monitor for a while and it was 99% cpu bottleneck and now way less with 1440p. Its crazy still that you get almost the same fps with way cheaper system
I ran the benchmark in cod and my bottleneck is 95% GPU. How do I get it more balanced between both GPU and CPU?

Hey 4eyes thx fir the setting I have a 4090 all best specs I didn't gain much fps from remderworker count maybe like 5 or 10 but what I did notice is the responsiveness of the game greatly kinda weird considering I have such a high spec computer but everything you did there helped appreciate it man never stop grinding your intuition will take you far my man much ❤️

@@garethholdsworth1819 a little late to reply to you but as far as i can tell, that means that your CPU is the bottleneck about 75 percent of the time and your GPU is the bottleneck 25 percent of the time. Honestly with frame rates that high that is how the numbers should look. for reference, when i run it i get 185FPS, Mine is GPU 99 percent and my CPU is 1 percent because i run at 1440p and mostly high or ultra settings. but i have a 5800x3d CPU which is not holding back my GPU at all (in the benchmark, in actual gameplay of Warzone 2 thats a different story) Basically your numbers mean that your CPU is holding back your GPU. Not really a concern though at 247 FPS and Warzone 2 has been using more and more CPU to do things in game, so you arent going to get more frames than that anyway

Your are the only guy that changes that.
Video memory scale is how much vram the game reserves for itself. So if you put it to really high, there isn't any vram left for any other programs and you'll get stuttering from that. You can see how low to set it from the vram scale in the lower right of the settings menu once you dial in all the settings.

in running benchmarks with a 3090 and 5900x is it normal to have vram usage at 11pc and cpu fps avg 224 bottleneck 5pc and gpu avg 187 bottleneck 95, just seems like something isn’t right

Hey mate, currently running benchmarks to try and find the right mix between game settings and config settings. Something I’m noticing consistently is that the game seems to only be utilizing 50% of my total ram and 22% of my total vram. Is there anyway to allocate more vram to war zone and would this increase my performance? Love your content. Cheers

@@Ozma86 ive done that to 90 max settings i get hte same fps as low settingson a ryzen 5 3600 and a gtx 1080 and 16gb ram only using like 20% of my gpu and 40 of my cpu
@@mint_au thats because youre cpu is bottlenecking. There is only so much you can squeeze out of an 3600. Instead of looking at how much vram the game is using, rather look at how much the gpu is being used, if its not close to 90% youre cpu is bottlenecking, if the gpu is at 95%+ then youre gpu is capped/bottlenecking, but i doubt youre ryzen 3600 would be able to bottleneck 1080.
@@djambox1439 not sure what was happening but i think for the first 5 hours of playtime my fps wouldnt even hit 60 in resurgence in a small room looking at the wall or up at a sky but now its fine getting everywhere over 90 and inside building or big pois i get around 120 but super odd you have to play like 20 something games before your fps fixes itself

In summary, it involves deleting files in the Call of Duty -> Players folder, and deleting file names that have codhq in it.
I have to say since changing to this im getting alot better results but dont like how enemy thats further away looking abit blury any recommendations to clear that up without getting too much fos drop ?

if ur using the geforce experience, you might have the option set to auto optimise games turned on, turn it off and then try and change ur cod settings then. thats the most i can tell u that may work

I switched everything and gained me 20 more fps but my cpu was running at 80% and my gpu was at 1% quick fix is making sure hardware acceleration is on. Turning it off was not it for me

This is of course assuming you're being GPU bottle necked and not CPU bottle necked.
The easest way to check this is go to into your interface setting and show your GPU and CPU timing (it's where you go to show your FPS and stuff).
Whichever is higher (ms) is what is effectively bottle necking you. You WANT a GPU bottle neck because that means changing graphics settings actually changes performance.
I'm running a RTX4090 with a Ryzen 5900X and I get the exact same FPS will all Lowest and all maxed settings, unless I go up from 1440p to 4k, meaning I'm CPU bottlenecked.
Low settings in this game (apart from certain ones) still result in better overall visibility in most scenarios though

The 5900x is terrible for this game unfortunately. I just swapped from my 5900x to a 5800x3d. Running a 7900xtx and my fps in alsharim doubled, and that’s at 4k. I’m hitting an average of 190fps medium settings at 4k.
@@sambryant2283 I have 6800xt and a 5600x. Wish I didnt replace my 3600x to 5900x 2 years ago. Im getting around 100fps with 2k at medium settings, while my friends with 'worse'/cheaper systems get a better fps

If you order a aim controller and you live in Canada. Expect to pay an extra $75 on your order once it hits the border. Wouldn't have bought it if I would have realized it was so much hidden cost. Also the warranty dosen't cover stick drift which is all that usually goes wrong with controllers.

It doesn't matter what I set my settings to in this game I will only ever get 90-110 fps in warzone. I've lowered everything to the minimum, gone into the config files, changed nvidia control panel settings and nothing ever changes. I've got a ryzen 7 5800x with a 3070, this should be a more than capable system to run warzone at 1440p on low to get up to the refresh rate of 144. Either I'm missing something or this game isn't optimized whatsoever.
Ryzen 7 5700x + 3060ti same results. 1440p could possibly eat 20-30fps. Cus on my 3050ti laptop msi katana 1080p I get the exakt same results.

This means you are CPU bottlenecked (or limited). that means your CPU cannot give you more frames, even if the GPU is running everything on minimum. This is the tell tale sign that your CPU is the problem. sorry to say that, but Warzone 2 has been systematically using more and more CPU and the frames have been getting less and less every single update. i used to get 170 all the time and now i get 130 all the time with the same settings. Just run as high of settings as you can and stil have the same FPS and just learn to accept it for what it is. As a wise man once said (hardware Unboxed) "If your PC is doing everything you need it to do then dont worry about upgrading. but if its NOT doing the things you need it to, or its not doing them the way you would like, then its time to consider an upgrade"
It don't matter what settings I change my FPS are around 90-100 and don't change no matter what. R5 3600 @4.3Ghz and 6700XT @ 2700Mhz GPU usage is only around 70% and CPU like 40% With such low GPU and CPU usage shouldn't there be more FPS to be had?

When I try amd2.1 on Quality there’s so much white lines on guns and accessible stuff that it’s annoying. Doesn’t happen on amd1 ultra quality tho

64GB CORSAIR DOMINATOR DDR5 | 5600MHZ. That is my system, tried lots of different settings videos. With amd fsr 2.1 I get 120 to 130 some times less. Using FiD CAS on 1440p Im lucky to get 120. 108 to 120 FPS. Every update I lose FPS
Only thing I can think of is adjusting my video memory scale and see if it improves it, tried all different windows settings and Nvidia control panel settings.

@@PapaFlock as far as I'm aware, no lol. Need to jump on to cod and check. The fact my monitor is a 1440p monitor, I doubt it. Though I'm guessing game could still be set at 4k? Part of me is hoping that's what it is because that would be a simple fix 🤣

I needed this a week ago.. now theres no solos for warzone so
Been getting terrible 1% lows since season 3. Capping my fps in Riva tuner to what my rig can maintain drastically improves this. Hopefully this will help people.
step ( 1 )
press the windows key then type " run " and type this in run prompt " temp " select all then press delete ( press skip which are the the programs currently running )
Step ( 2 )
press the windows key then type " run " and type this in run prompt " %temp%" select all then press delete ( press skip which are the the programs currently running )
Step ( 3)
press the windows key then type " run " and type " %LocalAppData% " navigate to the folders ( Nvidia/DXCache ) and again select all and DELETE ( press skip which are the the programs currently running ) - this will reset your cache within the Nvidia drivers for all games ( no stress - games recompile the cache upon launching ) this will force WZ2 to recompile its shaders from scratch and reduce stuttering over all.
Follow these steps and you'll remove bloat temp files within windows and also reset the cache WZ2 and any other game installed on your system.
This helped me SOOOOOO MUCH and I highly recommend this for solving crashing and FPS boosts within WZ2 and will help your PC over all in the long run.
