RIP to Geroge Perez. His run of Wonder Woman is iconic and redefined the character. Gods and Mortals + Challenge of the Gods are one of the best depictions of Wonder Woman ever. It really captures the essence of her character: someone who strives to be better and strives to have others be better.

Jason Inman and Ashley Robinson make me fall in love with my already favorite characters in the DCU every time. Wonder Woman #170 by Phil Jimmenez, A Day in the Life/She's a Wonder! That's what made Wondy my favorite character in the first place.

George Perez did over 60 issues. He wrote the book from '87 - '92. That omnibus isn't his entire run but yeah I totally liked your pick.

You should do a video about the Wonder Woman costume through the ages. I remember reading the old JLA/JSA crossovers & just noticing the different boots. and when Perez changed the braclets was also big.

Can you review The Legend of Wonder Woman by Renae De Liz and Ray Dillion? It’s a great run! They made Etta Candy awesome and the art was good. Diana was a bit boring though.

Best Wonder Woman story? Definitely The Hiketeia and Eyes of the Gorgon by Greg Rucka. I love the George Perez story of Lois going on Themyscira too, it was amazing! Rucka always fleshed out her character and Diana's personality. It shows her characters and myths much better than Earth One. I loved his choice though George Perez's run was amazing and one of my favorites. Objectively, it’s probably the best one, but the only reason it's not my favorite is cuz she's too naive. Plus it can be hard to follow. Maybe I am too much of a modern reader. I have volume one! I also love The Circle, Godwar, The True Amazon, JLA: A League of One, and The Legend of Wonder Woman by Renae De Liz. In my opinion, it did a better job of bringing back the Golden Age version than Earth One, I’m sorry, I just didn’t like Earth One because they made the Amazon’s evil. Greg Rucka’s rebirth one was good, but it was anticlimactic. I LOVE the Gail Simone’s run. It was so much fun!!!

On top of the start of the new 52 I feel the Wonder Woman Animated movie should get an honourable mention. That and the Green Lantern movie at the time were some solid comic movies
I approve of both of those choices. I would also add in the Legend of Wonder Woman. Self contained series in an alternate universe, that follows Diana growing up and becoming Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman Earth One was awesome. I bought it because it went into a lot of issues including talking about bdsm, feminism vs ("radical") feminism (? I just mean how the amazons were kind of down on males while Diana was more accepting). gender identity, and other subjects as well. I hadn't liked a Grant Morrison book in quite awhile ( and it made me so interested in the character I ended up buying a few other tpbs

I loved when Hypolita traveled back in time and became the JSA-era Wonder Woman. That's my favorite WW story.
I gotta agree with you this time, George Perez run was great for the 80's, and Earth One Wonder Woman gives a more realistic take on the WW mythos, but Azarello's run on the new 52 made Wonder Woman great again!! and the look of the greek gods were just tremendous.
